Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Tenshi nodded, smiling gratefully. "That would be great." she then watched him rush into the bowling alley, giggling as she stood outside and waited for him. As she waited, her mind trailed off. A city? All of the noise! She mumbled slightly, but then smiled. All of the animals. She would be at home! Including the people there to! They might be rude but,at least she is somewhere. As Akki came out,she started to walk along beside him. She suddenly halted to a stop at his question. 'Oh my god!' she repeated in her head, her hands moving over her mouth as she was ready to squeal. She held it in though, only letting out a shy giggle. "Of course! It wont mind. It's only a bit,I've lived for ever-so-long in a abandoned town." she giggled.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Akki was surprised at how excited she was. He thought that she might have wanted this for years, and he felt sorry for her, but just a bit. As the town soon faded behind them, he walked on the side of the road. "Do you know what happened to it?" He asked, speeding up a bit. He wanted to get to the city quickly, which would give him more time with WiFi and a phone signal. He put his hands on the back of his head and watched the approaching turn come up. He walked down the dusty path, until he could recognize his house from the distant. Feeling more comfortable, he decided to be a bit bold. "This may sound a bit stupid, but I swear I saw you wearing ears and a tail. What were you doing with the props? It looked really real, by the way."

Tenshi shook her head. "No,no clue." she said, following the road back home. As she heard his question, she paused. He actually remembered? She looked down, her hand rubbing her headband. "Ears and tail?" she giggled nervously, looking like she was sort of keeping a secret. "Nonsense! You could've been very sleepy!"

Akki studied her for a moment, suspecting that she was lying. He wasn't going to get to in to it. If she didn't want to tell him, she didn't have to tell him. He said nothing back but walked up to his house, turning his back to her. "Do you have any other clothes? Sorry, but were going to attract a lot of attention." He stated to her, opening his door and walking quickly to get his things. Quicker then he had expected, he had grabbed his backpack and his phone. The laptop was inside the backpack, while his phone was inn a bag that was clipped on the strap. He even forgotten to take his phone. "Must have been too in-touch with nature." He joked, stepping out of his lodge with the backpack.

Tenshi followed him, then thought for a moment. What was wrong with her clothes? They weren't to flashy to her. "Like what? I usually wear things like this." she giggled. She followed him inside, leaning against the door frame as she watched him gather his luggage. She laughed when he saw he forgot his phone, her eyes rolling as she chuckled. She seemed to be very giggly today, her heart fluttering a bit.

Akki looked at her clothes again. "Okay then, just sayin." He shrugged, not wanting to fight with her. If she wanted to wear those clothes, it was her choice. He jumped off the steps to the door and made his way back to the path. "If you haven't been out for a while, you might not know the....errr things to do." He had a feeling that something was going to happen to them on this trip, but this would be his most interesting trip yet.

Tenshi giggled, following him. "I don't see nothing wrong. Besides,I can fend for myself." she looked up,trailing behind Akki as she then tilted her head. "Hmm? Like what?" she asked.

Akki felt like a parent about what he was about to say, and decided to let it go. "Nothing, just don't talk to strangers." He said simply and set off towards the same path. He felt as though he didn't have too much time left, even though it was only 11. The sun warmed him up a bit, keeping him neither hot nor cold. Walking towards the highway, he thought he saw a tower in the distance. Walking towards the town again, he tried to see what the long structure was. He seemed to take a different path, because he found himself surrounded by what looked like a busy road. Strip malls and gas stations were everywhere, and he found himself back to civilization. Walking on the sidewalk, he glanced at Tenshi to see if she was okay.

Tenshi nodded before running to her home. It wasn't very far,not at all. She hurried in and shut the door. Her eyes closed as her body started to glow faintly. Her clothes morphed, wearing a light blue hoodie and some skinny jeans, including some neat converses. She hurried out, following Akki into the path. Her eyes scanned it,her ears pricking under he hoodie as she clearly heard thundering beast(cars) zoom by on long lanes. She sighed, looking up and down as she wondered where to.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Akki turned around, then noticed something wasn't right. He spun back around and stopped, noticing her clothes had changed. Instead of saying anything, he just turned around. He was starting to think that it wasn't a coincidence anymore. Walking farther, he soon noticed a Cafe with 'WiFi' painted on it. Walking quickly, he soon reached the building. Many people were glued to their computer screens, nibbling on something. The place looked sleek and modern, white round chairs, tan tables, and white wooden floors. Some people glanced, while others didn't even bother to look. Walking up to the counter, someone came to greet him. "It's 10 dollars for 2 hours, write your name on the pad and I'll give you the password." She said in a light voice. Fishing out his wallet, he managed to find a $20 dollar bill in his pocket. Handing it to the lady, she smiled and gave him a wrinkled note. He scribbled something on the yellow notepad and looked at Tenshi. "You can explore the city, I might be here awhile." He said politely, not knowing what to do with her.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Tenshi tilted her head at his glance, then saw him rush into the WiFi place. She followed, until he said she could explore. She sighed, nodding. "Alright." her voice was soft, but somewhat excited. She turned around, walking outside as her eyes scanned the city. She didn't know where to go first,so she decided to travel the sidewalks. Walking.. Walking.. Her mind repeated those words until she stopped. She looked around after those five minutes, and saw a few buildings. A Gym,a Cafe, and a motel. She flexed her arms and then decided to go to the gym. It's been awhile anyway, right? When's the last time she ever beat someone up! "1964.." she mumbled, answering herself.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Akki settled down on one of the white chairs, in full view of everyone else. Opening his laptop up, he waited a bit for it to start. Once he had connected to the internet, he opened his browser and checked his email. "More spam...." He whispered under his breath as he deleted the emails, but stopped for a second. He saw a email with his name on it, but it seemed to be from his interviewer. Getting excited, he clicked on the email. He saw that the date was moved up, being from 6 days to 3, but the same time. Instead of relaxing on his mini-vacation, he would know have to stress about his interview, again. He checked his inbox again, replied to his mom, and checked the news. By now he only had 30 minutes left. Reading a bit more articles, he checked his bank. He guessed that he would have enough to get to the destination, though he might be wrong.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
(quite ironic, talking about internet while we're using it xD)
Tenshi opened the doors, pulling them with little effort as her eyes adjusted to the low light. She looked around, all men and barely any woman lifting weights, crunches, and doing pull ups. She sighed, walking toward one of the weights that was closest to her. It was labeled 10 pounds, her head tilting. She reached toward the metal bar that held both weights, and lifted with ease with one arm. Her eyes scanned the crowd as to see what she was supposed to do,and copied one that lifted similar to her weight. "I should go soon.." she said softly, turning her head toward the door.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
(lol)
After he closed his computer and put it in his backpack, the lady came over to several people and told them their remaining time. He slid the straps on him and signed out, signing his name next to where he initially signed. Walking out the door, he heard his phone vibrate in his pocket. Picking it up, he realized that it was a call from one of his friends. He spent awhile pacing outside the window on the store, until finally he got another call. He laughed loudly at one of his friends joke and answered the call, putting him on hold. "Hello?" He said, his voice light from his laugh. This is just a reminder for the time of the interview. It begins at 4:00pm tomorrow and we ask you to dress casually, good bye. His smile was wiped off his face as he listened to the feminine voice. He was supposed to dress casually? He wanted to call the number back, but then he didn't. His friend soon spoke through the phone, but he told him he had to go. He would have to buy the plane tickets now and not buy a suit. Pacing around a few moments, he soon began to walk randomly, eyes on his phone. He managed to buy a plane ticket before he realized that he walked to a park. Looking around, he wondered where Tenshi was.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
After a long while, she decided to leave the gym,not even breaking a sweat. As she left, she sniffed the air for Akki. Before long, she knew what he'd been doing. Buying a plane ticket, pacing the front of a store, her eyes pictured the moment almost perfectly. She trailed down the sidewalk, her ears hidden by her hoodie as they moved a bit more freely, trying to look normal as she crossed the sidewalk and headed towards Akki. As I walked around the park,my eyes traveled toward the benches and tall trees. This was a place similar to where she lived. Her eyes caught the sight of Akki, picking up her pace she fast walked to him. "Akki!" she called out.

Akki turned around and looked at Tenshi. He wondered if it was just luck that had brought her here, but he was starting to get suspicious. Wondering how she had found him, he tried to not be so paranoid. He waited until she had made it to him before he started to finally process the things he had seen. "Hey, I got a call about my job. I'll have to leave tomorrow morning, maybe even tonight to make it. I would like to thank you for your hospitality, and to let you know I appreciate it." He hoped that maybe he could leave the weird things he'd seen in the past, but the questions still popped up in his mind.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Tenshi stopped before him, listening to his words as she frowned. "Tonight? Aww.." she looked down, feeling a bit sad. But,this was for his future. She wouldn't want to ruin such a lovely dream, and besides, she's always dealt with things like this. "Well, alright. I hope you have a safe trip." she bowed her head, giggling at herself.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Akki was surprised about how easily she let him go. He realized that she might not be that crazy killer from a horror movie, and chuckled at the thought he had the first night of seeing her. It felt longer then it actually was, but he was glad that he could finally get the interview over with. "Can you walk back on your own?" He asked, hoping that he didn't have to walk her home. She was so strange, and he wanted to find out more, but probably didn't have the time to. Besides, he might find something he didn't want to know. Feeling nervous to get on his flight, he looked around and saw a taxi rental company located in a nearby strip mall.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Tenshi nodded, the smile vanishing from her face as she turns on one foot and walks away. Her hands in her hoodie, her ears bent back and eyes sad,she thinks about the other nights with strangers. But,Akki was the first she'd known to befriend her. It brought a cheerful smile to her face. She kept walking, taking short strides as she kicked a pebble.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Akki watched her go away, wondering if she was sad. Leaving the thought without an answer, he turned around towards the cab store. Several taxis were scattered around the parking lot in front of the store, and a few taxi drivers were starting up their engines. Breaking into a jog, he managed to open the door into the store, and found it empty. Walking up to the man behind the window, it took him a while to notice him. He smelled of cigarettes, and had a cigar in his mouth. He looked up at him, then pointed to the sign. "A dollar per mile..." He muttered to himself. He really didn't have a choice, so he just pointed to the airport on the map. The man looked at him, then gave him a ticket. "Give it to the driver, it's 45." The man glanced at him while he was speaking, but then picked up a magazine. Leaving the store to find the driver, he looked at the ticket, then found the matching taxi number. Walking up to the man that was in the car, he gave him the ticket, then stepped into the car.
He sat back in his seat on the plane. It had been easier then he had expected, though it was filled with drama. Passengers yelling, managers running, while he didn't have to worry about it. The stress of the airport, he thought, had rattled him up more then he thought it would. Less then a day in a deserted town does this to me..... He thought as he closed his eyes, dozing off. It had taken almost two hours just to go through traffic, when he told the taxi driver to avoid it. That had taken up another hour in the car, and he was almost late for his flight. Thinking of the town made him think of Tenshi, which made him uncomfortable. Shifting in his seat, he closed off the thoughts of her and went to sleep.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Walking.. Walking.. Walking back to her home. Her head fell heavy as she hid her face in shadows. Why did she feel so bad about this? She let out a fierce growl as a dog from the city walked by. It whimpered before jogging after its owner. She continued her depressing walk, all the way home. On the dirt path, about a few hours after she left Akki, she could still see those footprints in the ground. Her eyes teared up,but she held back. Walking into the town, her feet dragged at the pavement and her ears laid limp. Lifting a hand, she pulled down her hood to reveal her white, fluffy ears. She unstuffed her tail out of her pants and let it lay in the breeze. She opened the door to Akki's old house, looking around to see if he cleaned. No,not really.
With a sigh, she closed the food and went back to her own home. She closed the door softly behind her,her emerald eyes gaze softly through the window. It was the peak of a full moon. Nothing new.. She guessed. Her memories of Akki moved to the back of her head, laying down now on the couch as she grumbles. What to do.. She thought.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Akki woke up bleary eyed, seeing the passengers getting up. Jerking awake, he rubbed his eyes. As the remaining passengers left through the door, he scrambled to find his backpack. Opening up the containers overhead, he was relived when he found it. Taking the strap and flinging it on his shoulder, he left the door and noticed the setting sun. Eventually he made it out of the airport and noticed that there was a lot more people. He was glad that he had finally been able to get back to a city again. Seeing the steady stream of taxis made him more confident for his interview, which was tomorrow. As he managed to get one, he noticed people fighting over a taxi next to him. Glancing around, several other people were looking at him with irritated looks. Stepping inside the cab quickly, he pulled up a picture of a nearby inn. Relaxing in the back seat, he watched the city move by quickly.
After he had left the cab to the inn, he checked in and had unpacked in his hotel room. He would have to buy some more clothes, but didn't she say to come casual? Should he really believe whoever it was? He laid out on his bed, his arms outstretched to the end. His sneakers were sitting by the door, and his backpack as by his bed. The lamp next to him was on, which kept him awake. The bed smelled like flowers, so he guessed that it was okay to sleep under the covers. Pulling the covers over him, he reached over and tried to turn off the lamp. He couldn't find the button, and eventually just pulled the plug out. The effort had kept him awake, but he soon fell asleep.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
(Oh! Then no we keep going xD)
Tenshi got off the couch, walking to the door as she thought this would be a good time to clean the house. Walking to Akki's old home, she opened the door, looking inside. She started first with the kitchen, taking a wet cloth and running it over the counter tops and tables, even over the fridge. Her eyes scanned the kitchen before taking a mop and washing the floors. "All in a daily life." She told herself, squeezing the water off of the mop into a bucket. She kicked the mop and bucket into a closet located in the far left of the kitchen, closing it instantly with the force of the mop hitting it. She walked upstairs, trying to think of what Akki had used so she doesn't have extra work.
Her eyes scanned the bedroom, seeing only the bed a mess. Well, that's nothing new. They always left the town leaving her something to clean... Or repair.
