Tenshi watched him. She could just feel his pain.. And his stubbornness. She lowered her head,the swirls of light swallowed her body before changing her back into that half human hybrid. She stood outside,knowing she wasn't welcome. Whispers.. Whispers of many of the dead was heard in her ears. They spoke to her,telling her many sorts of advices. She shook her head,trying to ignore those ringing voices. They were dead.. Dead to the living. She reached out to the door,slowly closing it so it didn't leave a Big Bang.

Akki was drying himself out now, carefully avoiding the scratches. Some of the scratches he hadn't known where there, and brushed over them. None of them had been bleeding too much. He slipped into his boxers before putting red shorts on. They were baggy enough not to irritate his scratches. He put on a striped grey shirt. He noticed he had a bruise on his side, but was thankful that it wasn't another cut. He had searched the bathroom, but he couldn't find any bandages. He had pressed on the cuts with a wet rag, but some of them were big; and others just wouldn't stop bleeding. The thought of going to Tenshi's place had occurred to him, but he didn't want to talk to her right now. Or really even see her. He sighed as he carefully laid his legs out on the couch. He pressed the rag on his knee, barely wincing from the pain. The white rag was now covered in a red spots.

Tenshi was found in her house,searching through the cabinets while holding a book in hand. It was titled in Latin,including the text. She was reading it,her eyes trailing through the words in odd shapes. Her hand grasped a cartoon that was filled with orange juice. She placed it on the counter,walking blindly to another cabinet as she took hold a glass cup and put it on the counter. She moved backwards towards the cartoon,pouring the orange juice into the cup. Her elbow hit the glass as it fell to the ground,making that echoing shatter. She dropped her book and held up the juice so it didn't spill everywhere. She sighed,knowing fully well at what happened. She got up her knees,picking up shards of glass and throwing them away in a hidden trashcan beneath the sink.

Akki looked out his window, too dark to see outside. He opened his door, feeling the wind blow against him. Shutting the door behind him, he used the light off of his phone to help him avoid the clothes. He sighed as he saw Tenshi's house. He stood there for almost a full minute, not sure if he wanted to see her anyway. Putting the light down to his leg, he saw that it was bleeding again. Several gashes were bleeding, but only just recently. He didn't know if it was good or bad that the blood was moving slowly towards his shoes. He walked the remaining distance, waiting at her door. Taking a deep breath and holding it, he raised his hand to knock. His knuckles were just an inch above the door, when he pushed them to knock.

Tenshi's ears spinned toward the door,her eyes fixing on it. Who could it be? As if she didn't know. Tenshi turned to walk towards it. Her nose sniffed the air. Blood.. And the distinct smell of Akki. She growled,but stopped quickly. How would the gods think of her acting this way? She put on a fake smile,opening the door as she stared at Akki. "What?" she asked,the hint of aggravation in her tone.

Akki was surprised to see that she looked mad. It seemed so different from the one that he knew. Or thought he knew anyway. He stared at her face for a moment, wondering if he should push her buttons just to see how she would react. See the aggressive side of her. "You have a First-Aid kit?" He asked, barely managing not to add anything extra. He bit his lip, resisting the urge to smile at his thoughts.

Tenshi nodded,backing away from the door. "Of course." she said,turning away. She walked to the bottom cabinet,reaching for a kit. It was rather large,filled with everything a ambulance would obviously need. She dropped it on the dining table,and motioned Akki to come closer. "Heal yourself." she said,even though she thought it. She noticed she said it a little late,turning around and washing her hands so she wouldn't show her blushing cheeks.

Akki followed slowly behind her, looking at the box. He leaned on her table, wondering why she was just standing there. He leaned across the table to grab it, being on the end of the table. Opening it up, he ran his fingers over the contents. He now just remembered that she was scared of blood. He game a malicious smirk as he thought of what he could do the scare her more. He frowned at the fact he was thinking such evil thoughts. He decided not to put his leg up on the table and treat it there. Putting his foot on the seat, he leaned over and grabbed a big patch, making sure that it wasn't wrinkled. He put the wrappers on the table then reached for more bandages.

Her head turned around to watch Akki. She dried off her hands before looking at his wounds. She bent over the other side of the table,watching him bandage his leg. She reached her hand out to the wounds,but quickly withdrew. She didn't want to get yelled out,and the blood made her ears pin back to her head. She turned around to walk away,not wanting to see the sights much longer.

Akki watched her hand, seeing if it would come closer. He let himself breath as he saw her hand pull back. His leg was tense and his muscles were clenched. When he relaxed it, he saw the blood on the bandage. Grabbing another one and putting it on a smaller cut, he turned his leg around to see if there were any more bleeding wounds. He could see puffy lines on his leg, but nothing else was bleeding. He rolled all the wrappers into a ball and closed the kit. "Thanks." He muttered as he walked to the counter, putting the kit there.

"Your welcome." she quickly replied. She fell back onto the couch,her eyes hidden under many strands of her long hair. "Now shoo! You need rest." she quickly came up with an excuse. Her eyes were wide open,watching him through her hair that caged her eyes. She wondered why she was this much pissed at him.

Akki stood around, not knowing if he wanted to annoy Tenshi or not. He checked his leg again to make sure it hadn't stopped bleeding. Even when she shooed him away, he stayed in his place. He stared at her face, not able to see much of her eyes. He took a deep breath, exerting some self-control to not mess around with her. He closed the door after him, grabbing his phone and using the screen to find his way back to his house.

Tenshi sighed deeply as he left. Her hair lifted out of her eyes as she blew into the air. She pulled herself up,looking around. "People don't respect us anymore.. God.." she whispered. Her ears bent back,her hands reaching to her knees as she pulled them close to her. Her eyes started to water,mumbling words that sounder foreign. They weren't. They were words in english said backwards. "Mother.. How are you doing?" she asked to the heavens,her ears moving about in every direction. ..No response.

Akki had jogged to his house, feeling tired from the day. He just needed some time to process the emotions from the past few hours. Opening the door and closing it behind him, he walked towards his bedroom. He put his phone on the nightstand, pupils widening because of the darkness. His limbs felt weak as he relaxed, the former pain from his cuts were now just dull aches.

Tenshi lowered her eyes towards the couch,looking at her toes. She wiggled them,her eyes slowly closing as she relaxed her body. Her hands let go of her knees and she fell back into the couch's cushions. She bounced slightly,but giggled like a child. Her mind flew off into the world of dreams,letting her dreams turn into a happy ending.

Morning -

Akki put his head on his pillow, making it hard to breath. He moved his legs, surprised that he was under the covers. He didn't remember sliding into them last night. Lifting his head up, he saw the pale light of the sun. He groaned as he realized that he was up early again, but had a day off. Smiling, he pulled the covers over his head, stretching out his arms.

Tenshi was always an early bird. She stood outside,feeding the local birds their daily dose of seeds. She put the small bag of grain in her pocket before waving to them. She turned her eyes to face Akki's house. She looked rather angered then happy today. Her night was a disaster! Raccoons tried to steal her food while her dreams awoke her by the hour.

Akki felt the wave of sleepiness gradually fade until his eyes were open. He had gotten up out of bed and was walking around, unsure of what to do. He had checked the fridge, but didn't feel like making meat sandwiches for breakfast. How had he gotten breakfast before? He racked his brain for the thought, but instead it gave him memories. My god... He sighed and leaned on the counter, his stomach growling. He would just have to walk into town and buy something to eat. He looked outside, looking for the source of the annoying birds. He didn't like birds, especially when they decided to make noise. Opening the window, he scowled and saw them all huddled in one place, then looked at Tenshi.

Tenshi met Akki's eyes,her pupils were feral and her fangs showed. She took him rather as an enemy before turning her attention towards the birds. She felt the hatred of the small kind in Akki's presence,and hated it. She perched a bird on her finger before moving away with it. The birds followed,some staying to play in the fountain.

Akki stared at Tenshi, looking at her fangs. He closed the window, freaked out by what he saw. He sat on the counter and looked around, wondering what to do. He ignored the hunger, though it still bothered him. Those stupid birds kept making noises. Tenshi seemed like a nature freak, so he doubted that he could throw something at them like he usually did. Breathing deeply, he opened the door and shut it behind him, shielding his eyes from the sun. He looked at where Tenshi just now was, and spotted a bird on a branch. It was probably the nosiest ones he heard all day. "Shut up!" He yelled at it, and grabbed a stick. Throwing it at the branch, it scared the bird and made it fly towards Tenshi's direction.

Tenshi's ears perked. She saw the bird fly towards her,and she spun on one foot. She glared at Akki. A sort of red vibe shined faintly around her body,while the red forehead mark was glowing and obviously visible through the strands of hair on her forehead. Her tail lashed her sides,but she ignored him. She turned around,looking at the bird that flew away. She cooed to it,but it just flew away,scared out of it's little mind. Even the one of her finger flew away. She dropped her hands at her side. Her fingers curled into fist.

Akki watched, becoming more disturbed. He let out a huff, not knowing what he just saw. He was even more screwed now, but should he stop? He leaned onto a tree, knowing that she could kick him out anytime. It's not like they had a contract or anything, or even a verbal agreement. More birds chirped, making him reach for another stick. The birds hopped along on the branch, chirping at each other. "Dumbass birds!" He yelled, causing them to fly off. He had a stick in his hand, but he dropped it. Walking back to his house, he probably looked like crap. He was bored, but he would go over this moment for years, either just a normal self-control moment, or the day he screwed his future.

Tenshi stopped in her tracks. She turned to see Akki walk inside. That lucky bastard.. She thought. She walked towards the tree,seeing the stick on the ground. She grasped it,her pure strength snapping it in half while she held nothing but splinters of wood. She brushed them off her hand,a few big splinters causing speckles of blood. "That bitch should come and fight for once,and not to something smaller then him either!" she shouted the last words,her voice switching in tone to something demonic. Her eyes widened,hearing herself. She backed away,running towards her home.

Akki was laying down on his couch about to grab his laptop when he heard her. The voice gave him chills, but it also made him fearful. Running towards the door and looking outside, he looked for Tenshi, but couldn't find her. He took a wary step outside, but then ran back. He slammed the door behind him. The voice was still in his memory. "I don't want to call an exorcist." He whispered to himself, sliding to the ground. He began to shake, even though he knew that he was being stupid. But there was no denying that voice. But he took a deep breath and got up, trying to take his mind off things. He put his hand on his head, smoothing down some hairs. He opened the door and closed it behind him, casting a fearful look at her house. Then he ran, almost like he was running for his life.

Tenshi stood in her house,her hand on her forehead as she breathed sharply. She cut herself off of air for moments,tears dripping onto the wooden table. She rubbed her head in her hands,her head pulsing in pain. The voices were coming back. Her ears started to bleed,hearing loud and ear drum popping voices. She screamed from inside,her head falling from her hands onto the table. Her hands gripped her ears tightly,trying anything to get the noises gone and that deep temptation..
