Tenshi looked down at her hand,seeing the blood smudge from his touch. She backed away slightly,pulling from his grip. "I-I don't know.." She said,whimpering. She didn't know what had happened. She was amazed that she still had a heart beating. Her mind traveled into thought,trying hard to think of a real reason why. Tears started to form in her eyes,looking down at the blood. She always panicked over blood,and was deathly scared of it. She started to shiver from the sights,breathing rapidly now.

Akki held on to her hand, even as she tried to pull away from him. He opened his mouth to say something, but closed it. She couldn't go to the hospital after all, she was a goddess right? But why was she coughing up blood? As he watched her breathing become faster, he felt relieved that she wasn't coughing up more blood. Stepping inside, he used his hands to close the door after him. "Lets get the stuff cleaned up. Where did you first start coughing it up?" He asked, not knowing whether she could get sick or not. She seemed to be scared by it, so he guessed that she was hemophobic. He lowered her hand a bit, then guided her to the dining table.

Tenshi looked into Akki's eyes,following him into the kitchen. "In my bedroom.. It's all over the floor." she said,her voice low. Her ears bent up and her stature relaxed a bit. She pulled her hands out of his grip,her eyes fixing on the sink. She rushed over to it,the water running instantly as she scrubbed her hands from the blood. She started to put the facts together.. She could get sick,she was in a mortal body after all. Her tattoo was glowing,and that did mean something wrong was going on. Maybe it detected something wrong inside her? She growled slightly,then looked to Akki. "I'll clean it up. It's my mess.." she said.

Akki heard her, but said nothing. He clenched her hand, but she had pulled it out of his grip. Watching her clean her hands off he wondered if he should too, but decided to do it later. He resisted the urge to wipe it on his shorts. Instead, he sat lightly on her table and watched her. Then he heard that strange growl again. He wondered if it was directed at him, or she was thinking about something. He realized that he had wiped the blood on his shorts. It was only a smudge, though you could still see it. He then just decided to wipe the rest of it on his shorts anyway. "Okay, lemme know if you need help or something." He said, looking at her.

Tenshi reached to the towel hanging on a metal bar along the wall. She rubbed her hands on them quite fast,anything to get that blood scent off of her. She turned around again,looking at Akki for a few moments. "I will. I believe you got a job?" She'd asked. She did have that other worldly powers,do it wouldn't be impossible for her to know that. Before he could answer she walked upstairs and headed toward her bedroom.

Akki didn't answer, but he watched her figure disappear, followed by the sound of footsteps. He sighed and got off her table, then started to walk to the door. He paused with his hand on the doorknob. Should he look in his house, or follow her up the stairs? He muttered something under his breath as he opened the door, and swung it shut. Walking down the steps, he knew that he probably had some time left before he should go to the restaurant. Going early would help, and might take some time off of the day. Taking care of his sick landlady wasn't doing much to relax him. Walking off on the path to the Cafe, he had some thoughts about her, but decided that she would be fine.

She stopped as she looked deep into the puddle of blood. She slowly covered her mouth,looking away before running into the bathroom. She grabbed a towel,sliding across the floor slightly and sitting on her knees. Her tail dragged against the floor,her hands cleaning the crimson liquid as if it was a contest. She stopped after a few minutes,holding her forehead. She grew a bit dizzy,leaning against the wall. Maybe today just wasn't her day?

Akki made it to the restaurant, breathing in deep breaths. They weren't fast, but they were deep. He felt the urge to cough somewhere in his body. He walked through the door again, seeing that it was more slow today. In fact, Kara still had the keys in her hand. She glanced at him, then walked right past him. He didn't know if he was just early, or the cafe had dedicated customers. He grabbed his apron again, trying to tie it again. He couldn't tie behind his back, so he slowed down. Taking a breath, he felt his way around the knot, and he had tied it. The lady was in the kitchen again, sauces and seasonings already spread out. She smiled as she saw Akki, and spread her arms out around the soups that were on the counter. Something was cooking in the kitchen, though it looked like someone was doing something with it. "Now Akki, you call me Wren. Got that?" She asked, in a tone he hadn't heard before. He wondered if she was suddenly going to turn into a boss from hell, but then she smiled. "Okay Akki, try these soups. You're good, but I want to see how you sell things. Taste each of these, tell me what you think, then offer them to the customers." She stepped aside and put her arms towards the soup. He felt like groaning, but nodded. He didn't know the job was going to be like, but maybe doing this might make it fun. Maybe this job isn't that bad from the other one. He thought, though the job had made him feel angry, again. Pushing it from his mind, he looked at the bowls in front of him. Only 4, with different bowl colors.

Tenshi lifted to her feet,the towel in hand as she walked weakly back downstairs. She threw the bloody towel along the blsck leather sofa,deciding to just leave it there. She walked to a coat hanger,taking a gray Jodie titled 'Beautiful' across it in gold colors. She thought about walking around today,and so decided its be for the better. Tenshi opened the door after stuffing her tail away and ears under the hood. She placed her hands in her pockets as her foot hooked the door,slamming it close. She walked outside of her mini town,taking long strides along the sidewalk.

Akki had tasted all the soups, not really looking for anything. Wren watched him, and asked him what he thought. "First ones sweet, second ones bitter; I don't like the taste of the third one, but I can see people liking it. Fourth is pretty good, needs a little salt." After he was done, the lady had clapped her hands. "Well down, my friend. Offer these soups if the customer asks for soups, or if they want something new." She said, then gave him his first ticket. The length of the day hit him, and he groaned. He would be here a long time, he reminded himself. Stepping to the kitchen, some of the patrons looked at him, while he could hear Kara's voice in the kitchen. "Dumb dish just burned my hand! Why would I wanna cook this crap!?" She yelled from the kitchen, while Akki just got the food from the counter.

Tenshi walked and walked,her head held down as she brushed her bangs out of her eyes. She walked over towards stores,then hearing a familiar voice scream. It was that little brat of a waitress at the cafe,or whatever it's called. She walked toward it,sniffing slightly. She smelt the delicious soup from miles away,and the foods too. She then smelt Akki,not fading either. It was strong. He works here,she thought. She shrugged,remembering how he said yes to the old lady. A smile came upon her face. She walked by it though,wishing to not disturb his work with her nonsense.

Akki was serving more and more patrons, while he still hadn't seen Kara. He had to work by the podium, greeting the wave of new people, while serving up food. His feet quickly got tired, and he was breathing hard. He leaned on the podium now out of breath. Kara appeared from the kitchen, then looked at him. "Mhm." She said, brushing him away from the stand. He shrugged and continued to serve the restaurant, until it was beginning to fill up. It was already at full capacity. Wren had come to help, but it was still slowing down. He walked towards Kara, who just returned to the stand. "You can't work the stand all day." He told her, then reached down to get menus. She didn't answer him, but went to the kitchen. She brought out a platter, while he checked on the people, sitting on the benches. Some were standing around, others were even standing outside.

Tenshi walked past a few citizens,heading towards that little village that wasn't far from her own. She growled at the sounds of passing cars,getting even more fierce as a few people bumped into her. She wasn't a city god,not at all. She noticed now how grateful she should be to have god place her inside that abandoned town! Her hand brushed over her forehead,walking like a drunk person as she grew light headed. Her ears under her hood bent back,bringing the hood slightly back to reveal more of her hairline. She stood still for a moment as she got funny looks,and started to think. But,thinking only hurt her more. She leaned against a brick building. Now.. To find something to pass Akki's work time.

"Ah...no." Akki was giving a kid his soup, when he reached up and tried to grab it. He could feel the soup's heat, and thought about how bad the burns would be if he spilled it. The kid lunged again, this time, restrained by his parents. "Careful now, blow on it-" Akki had set the soup down just to see the kid stick his finger in it. He jerked it back and let out a loud scream. Akki didn't know what to do, so he just walked away. Instead of the food piling up and needed to be given, the orders were piling up. The old lady seemed to move fluently and quickly, seasoning one soup while string another. He stood and watched in awe, then went back to work. Kara passed by him. The rush-hour wasn't getting any better, but it seemed to come at a stand-still. He could hear people complaining about how long the wait was.

She kicked off the brick building,walking forward again. She looked around,her eyes seeming to find a track. She followed a few sidewalks,jay walking at least twice and standing before the gym. It was the only place she's been to besides the park. She could easily waste a few hours here. She walked inside,seeing a bunch of muscle freaks working out on the most hardest of machines. She barely saw any girls who weren't forced here by they're doctors about weight loss. Tenshi reached into her hoodie's pocket,grabbing a head band and sliding it through her hood. It covered her ears so they wouldn't be easily seen. She started to take off her hoodie as a man walked up to her. He asked if she had a gym membership. She shook her head. "Come with me then." he said. Tenshi tilted her head,deciding to follow him.

Akki had almost spilled soup on his arm again, thanks to Kara. She had shoulder-bumped him a few times, but this was the first time with soup. He didn't know how he she had managed the place with just her. His hands were red and the soles on his feet felt like they were about to cramp. He heard her again, this time yelling at someone. He wondered if it was Kara. He wanted to see it with his own eyes, but plenty of people were now just showing up. He didn't need to go to the kitchen to look, it came out. A tall guy with piercings all over his face walked through the doorway, with a small green mohawk. He wasn't the only one that was staring. The guy hadn't even spotted him yet, but everyone was staring at him. He went to the cash register and saw the guy staring at him. More weirdos, huh. He thought. Shrugging off the suspicion that the guy was still staring at him, he went back to his table. The man walked towards him, making him nervous. He had to be at least 6'4''. Turning around quickly, he avoided him.

The man brought her into a room,sitting her down on a chair while the muscle builder sat on a desk. He looked down at her,explaining about the gym membership. Toshiro sighed,pulling out money from her jean pockets. A God has to pay for things these days,eh? She was a fair person anyway,and took the gym card and slid it into her pocket. She got up,shaking the guy's hand as she squeezed it roughly. As she let go,the guy looked at his hand. It had the imprint of her's in it,and was throbbing in pain. He tilted his head,and just shook it off. Tenshi walked into the room,looking for the lockers. She walked toward one,rubbing her hand across it. She used to go here a lot,and remembered her locker quite easily. She picked the lock,using her magic as it just clicked open. She reached into it,taking the black clothes.

Akki heard Kara and the girl arguing, until she served another customer. She snapped at him, and he looked annoyed. It was about 11:12 now, checking his phone. He met the lady in the kitchen. She had steam on her face and looked a little like she was tired. "Could I umm, take my break?" He asked, and she barely turned around. "No." Was all she said, and put a plate by his face. He stood there for a while, not knowing how to take it. He walked out with the dish, wondering it that was why Kara was so mad.

Tenshi walked toward the stalls,getting dressed. She tied her long,wavy hair into a bun as she put on a shirt that revealed her whole stomach and back. She fixed the black straps,and put on matching shorts. She tied her sneakers again,and then walked out of the locker room. She looked around for a machine that wasn't being used. She walked over to one of those weight lifting machines. She took the handle,the weights at the bottom. She really didn't know how to use it,but she just started to pull on it. She lifted all of the weights,breaking a small sweat as her eyes stared sharply at the ground. She switched arms after about ten lifts,and kept on going. For a small girl,she seemed like hercules.

Akki had sat down for a bit, taking a break. Sure the lady said no, but she couldn't deny him some time off his feet? Kara gave him a glance, and the spiky haired dude looked at him for a while. That guy made him nervous, and that was just without him staring at him. The guy had a low voice, which matched his piercings on his face. He guessed that the guy liked varying forms of rock as well. Finally, the barrage of people seemed to slow. He had gotten up a few minutes before it slowed to throw his weight around again. Kara followed his lead after he got up out of the chair. He glanced at the sun from the big windows, seeing that the sky was starting to turn pink. He couldn't exactly see the sun because of the buildings in his way.

Tenshi soon stopped her weight lifting,rubbing her forehead as she took deep and long breaths. She turned to see the other people,staring at her. She looked at them with a curious look,seeing all the girls and few guys turn away. The remaining just walked away with a towel over their shoulders and water in a hand. Her eyes gazed over to see the sun outside. City life.. Can't see a damn tree for miles! She sighed,getting off the odd machine and walking away. She saw the treadmill,but then shook her head. Weights.. Boxing.. Wrestling.. And even some tread climbers. She just decided to get undressed and walk back home. The lifting weights wasn't helping her mind focus off the incident this morning,and how eager she was to find out /what/ it was.

Akki had expected maybe a dinner rush with the cafe, but he was surprised when it seemed to empty out. Few people came, and he guessed that it was normal this time. It seemed to become empty for minutes before he allowed himself to sit down. He wasn't sure what to think when Kara came to sit next to him, on his bench. Then the spiky-haired dude with the piercings came to sit down. Kara was on her phone, and he forced himself not to look at who she was texting. "You're the new help?" The guy said, in a surprisingly normal voice. he could see now that he had several piercings under his lip and through his noise, while he had a penny-sized hoop in his earlobe. Several more pins followed it, until almost his ear was full of metal rods. He couldn't help but stare, but ignored them, for a while anyway. "Yeah, what's your name?" He asked, wondering why he was judging him so. "Derek." Akki felt his judging become more intense, so changed the subject quickly, hoping to find something positive about the guy. "How long have you've been working for her?" Kara looked up from her phone to the both of them, but spread out her legs and continued texting.

After a seemingly long three minutes,she got into her casual clothes,walking out of the locker rooms carrying her hoodie folded in her arms. Her hair was slightly frizzy from the static of those gym clothes. She walked outside of the gym,the door slamming behind her. The noise made her jump and look about as if she heard a gunshot. She shrugged it off,walking back down the sidewalk. Tenshi looked about,seeming to have lost the path back home. "Shit." she cursed under her breath,looking around. She could see the park,and was far from the gym by now. She couldn't remember the route to the cafe,and decided to just go into the park. Guess that's what you get for being over millions of years old. Your bound to lose some memory,right?

Akki was surprised that no one was coming in now. He thought for a moment if the door might be broken. This seemed to be normal for Kara, who didn't even bother to look up when the bell on the door ringed. Derek got up pretty quickly to answer the door. He had only just realized that Kara had cut him off from getting out. He sat back down, kinda embarrassed. She seemed to notice it, to his horror. "Why are you doing this? You barely even know me yet you're trying to take my job away from me." She asked, looking up at him and not at her phone. He was surprised, but just for a moment. "Not trying to take your job." He said, leaning his cheek on his face, turning around to see her. Whatever he would do anyway, she wouldn't believe him.

She walked cautiously into the park,following the stone pavement. Here,the noises seemed to just vanish. It was a big park,yes it was. Trees were everywhere,and some junk from humans was about. A large fountain was placed dead center,birds chirping and wallowing in it. She leaned over the fountain,the birds not even scurrying away like they would do to most humans. She pointed her finger out to one,the bird walking sideways onto her finger. It was a yellow Chickadee. It chirped when it came closer,Tenshi finally growing a smile after the blood loss. It pecked her nose,but not meaning any harm. She sneezed,careful not to lift her finger. The Chickadee tilted it's head,twitching it's wings.
