Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Tenshi quickly paced after him. The roads seemed so familiar to her. She always traveled the roads but, never to far. She would usually go up to the street too gather the hit-and-run victims. She skipped along the road, kicking up some dust and looking forward. She might've looked weak but,in reality, she was a powerful creature that was hidden in mortal form. She saw birds chirping and squirrels crossing by they're feet. A nearby river swished with fierce waves as the road came closer. Still,no sense of rain. She sighed.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Akki looked at her when she sighed, but let it go. Turning away, he listened to the louder sounds of cars int he distance, glad that he was going to civilization. With one last look in his direction, he walked at a normal pace under the sun. Not before long, a wide stretch of road came into view, only a few cars passing each minute. Looking each direction, he decided to follow the cars, hoping that it was the right way. He looked in the tinted windows and saw them looking at him, then at Tenshi. He hurried his pace a bit, wanting to get out from the side of the road. Picking up his phone out of his pocket, he checked the screen and the signal. He had forgotten to charge it last night, seeing that the battery might change to yellow any minute. He was picking up a small signal, but the symbol would disappear from his phone every few seconds. He slid it back into his pocket, then looked ahead. It seemed to be some sort of small town, a few small restaurants with bright neon lights. They looked lonely with the cars passing by, not giving heed to the shops. Further down the road it seemed much nicer, a few pubs, a movie theater, and even a bowling alley. "Let's try there." He pointed out the bowling alley down the hill.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Tenshi was a bit nervous, seeing the cars drive by and sensing the harsh looks on them. She felt like rushing back to her own home but,she didn't feel right going back. She felt like staying with Akki,he was her first in awhile. Her eyes glared at his phone as she looked at the battery symbol. "May I see?" she asked, reaching for the phone until she saw him point to the bowling alley. The loud sounds of crashing pins and heavy weight dropping to the hard ground made her almost cry as she could hear anything within miles. She nodded slowly, her hand resting along her headband.

"Oh okay then, lets go!" He said surprisingly cheery, then set off a walk. Remembering her question, he stopped suddenly and smoothly took out his phone. "Uh, sure." He said, not sure whether he should give it to her or not. Making up his mind, he put the Iphone in her hands. He walked quickly to the bowling alley, seeing the shape gradually become bigger. The traffic seemed to increase, and he saw people begin to walk around, exploring the town. He could see more buildings farther away, but kept sights on the bowling alley. The sign eventually began to fill out, and he stopped and looked at the doors. People were looking and staring, but he opened a door for her. "So, I'm guessing you don't know how to bowl?" He asked, closing the door after her. His vision adjusted to the low light room, seeing neon blue lights on the wall. Loud sounds of bowling balls crashing into pins dominated the room, followed by excited yells.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Tenshi rushed to his side, slowly stopping her pace as she takes the Iphone in hand. She looks at it,the charge slowly going up as she smiles softly. Another good deed.. She thought. She was puzzled by the machinery though,it was quite new to her. She was still used to using letters and stuff instead of Pms or such. She walked into the bowling alley beside Akki, her eyes flickering about as she examined the alley. Her ears twitched under her headband as she drew her hands back and forth on them. The noise was incredible, making her ears bleed slightly as she could barely hear Akki. "N-no,I never bowled.." she said, sounding a bit hurt.

Akki nodded, expecting her answer. "Now try not to draw attention...." He said and leaned in her ear a bit, hoping that she could hear him over the crowd. He motioned for her to follow up, wary of touching her again, and spoke to the person at the counter. The girl looked to be in her teens, though she was popping pink bubblegum and had the faint smell of cigarettes. She looked at him, then went back to staring at her Blackberry screen. She then put the phone on the counter quickly, sitting up on the counter behind her. She crossed her arms and flipped her hair back, blonde with highlights. Her lips were shiny and she had black eye-liner on, with golden eye shadow. She gave a flirtatious smile, then looked at Tenshi. He might have been attracted to her, if she hadn't worn so much makeup. He could see the wrinkles and the blemishes of her foundation and blush, looking like more of a 6 year old's doll. "Welcome to Nat's bowlin' alley." She said quickly, eyeing Tenshi as if she was competition. Her obvious cleavage made his eyes wonder a bit, but he forced himself to look at her face. She smiled at him, then smiled directly at Tenshi. Not know how she was going to react, he spoke first. "Uh yes, can you get me a 9 and her a..." He looked down at her feet, wondering what her size was. He lined up his foot with hers a bit, guessing the size. The girl noticed this, and leaned over her counter to take a look. "Ah, she must not be your girlfriend, since you would've already remembered her shoe size for shopping." She joked, and he gave a slightly nervous laugh.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Tenshi nodded to Akki before following him to the counter. She sniffed silently, smelling the disgusting fumes on this woman. The girl was in her teens, yes, and she wasn't so pretty to Tenshi. But,by her natural personality, she smiled back as she wore no makeup whatsoever. The competitive glance made chills go down her spine as she rubbed her arm out of shyness. She watched Akki talk, then feel his foot slide toward hers. She looked down and then giggled. Shoe size? She was around seven and a half, but she thought he guessed that after comparing sizes.

Akki slide his foot next to hers again, judging the size. "Uhh, she'll have a 7 and a half." He said and she slowly slid off her counter to the front counter, where the machine was located. She quickly did some clicks, then looked up at him expectantly. "You want one game?" She asked. He looked around a bit, thinking of whether not he wanted another game. "How much for 2?" He asked, hoping that it wasn't too much. "It will be...hmmm...12 dollars, we have a discount for newcomers." She said with a hint. He smiled, trying to coax himself on a way to get out of the girls attention. "We'll take that." He said simply and opened up his wallet, grabbing out a card. She entered it in with precision ans was fast, then the machine processed the check. "Here ya go, you have bowling lane 19." She said and slide the receipt to him. He could see the faint outlines of a pen and he wondered when she had time to do that. He grabbed both of their shoes and walked towards the end of the building, the lane being far from the main entrance. More yells came from an alley as they got another strike, hitting the pins loudly.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Tenshi watched with great interest as the girl slid her way to the machine and ask Akki about how many games he wanted. Her eyes glanced at the wallet Akki held, seeing him give her some money as he took the shoes and walked off toward the end of the building. Looking that way,she pressed her hand tightly against her headband as she emitted a low growl from her throat. The noises! Oh my was it painful toward her. She could now see why she never left her village. It was always so peaceful there and didn't bother her fox like senses a bit! She followed Akki cautiously, her eyes flickering about.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Akki glanced at her, seeing that she was pressing her hand on her head, and heard above all the noise, the same growl like the one before. He turned around, shoes still in his hands. "Are you okay?" He asked her, giving her a second look. He then turned around, wondering what he had got him this time. Putting the shoes on the ground next to the chair, a white plastic chair for 3; He then took off his tennis shoes and put on the bowling shoes. "You have to put those on in order to play, or else you might leave streaks in the lane. Don't go past that red line," He pointed at the rather large line at the start of the lane. "and try to get a light ball. You swing the ball, but don't throw it. If the ball doesn't pick enough speed or you roll it wrong, it will end up in the gutters." He continued, realizing that he would have to explain the game. He got up and pressed a few buttons on the machine in the middle, inputting their names. "Can you enter your name?" He asked, stepping aside.

Tenshi nodded her head to Akki, hoping that this game would end quickly. She walked a seat opposite from Akki and took off her shoes. She placed them beside herself as she slid on the bowling shoes. "Uh.. Ok." She replied, quite unsure of how those things worked. She walked up to the machine and tilted her head. She pressed some if the buttons as she entered her name. It came up on the screen as the lane started to go on and the pins rattling inside.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Akki went to the rack beside their alley, grabbing a bowl. He grabbed a 10 pound ball, and looked at Tenshi. He didn't know how strong this girl was, so he went easy. He chose a purple 4 pound bowl, his blue. Carrying both in his hands, he sent them both down on the empty receiver, air streaming out from the whole. He listened as it made some mechanical noise, then started to move. A few balls rolled out, then he checked the screen. The party further down the bowling alley screamed again, then looked like they were packing up their things."Hopefully their leaving..." He muttered under his breath, glancing in their direction. He checked the screen again, watching the animations run, then the sheet popped up. "Hopefully this is not too confusing. Try and roll the ball towards the pins, like this." He motioned his hand with the ball, running up to the alley and swinging it, but still holding the bowling ball. "Your goal is to knock all the pins down and try to avoid the gutters. You get to go again if you didn't knock down all the pins." He explained, then finally stepped up to the alley. He lined himself up, then stepped back. Feeling his shoes unable to grip anything unnerved him, but he slowly walked up and rolled his bowl. The bowl spun and curved, knocking down half of the pins. The machine seemed to stutter a bit, then the pins were picked up and put down again. He stood by the receiver until his bowl was spitted up, then grabbed it for another go. He let his bowling ball go into the air a bit, landing with a dull thud and quickly swerving to the gutter. He watched as it rolled half-way down the track in the gutter. "Well, try not to do that. Anyway, the purple ones yours." He said and watching his bowl spit up, followed by the animations on the screen. Finally, it returned to the scoreboard and highlighted Tenshi's name.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Her eyes flickered around, her head tilting as she saw him come back with a 4 pound ball. She lifted it with ease, holding with with one hand as she giggled. "Yeah, they are. They're going home now,I can hear them." she said, her eyes stuck on the moving figures beside them. She watched Akki throw the ball down the lane, barely listening to his instructions from before. She got onto the lane after he was done, her eyes watching her target. She walked up steadily, her bowling ball in hand as she tossed it down the land, the ball rolling with great speed as it knocked down all the pins. She frowned. "Darn it!" she grumbled, walking off the lane as she thought it was a bad score.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Akki brushed off the comment made about the group, he could sorta hear them as well. If she had strong hearing, the noise must have made her in that bad mood. He watched her go up to the alley, hopeful that she listened to his instructions. He stood up in excitement, watching the ball roll with amazing speed, and get a perfect strike. He smiled and went to congratulate her, but she soon stormed off. He glanced at the old strike animations on the TV screen, but he quickly went to rein Tenshi in. "Whoa whoa whoa wait!" He called at her. He walked quickly beside her and notice the ball roll up and hit his ball with a light clink. "Whats the matter? You got a strike, that's good!" he said, pointing at the dashboard. While his number only showed a 7, her's showed a x in the main frame. His name was now highlighted. Walking over to pick up his ball, he carefully aligned himself. Sure he wanted to show her how to play, but that wouldn't mean he would go easy on her. He walked with a slow gate, then let the ball go out of his hand. It hit the floor with a spin, but soon went straight. It rolled and soon hit a decent amount of pins. There was one however, that was still up. It was wobbling, but managed to stay up. "Dammit!" He cursed under his breath, though a decent volume.

Tenshi turned around to his voice calling her, looking at the board as she frowned again. "But,x's are never great!" she said, sitting down and awaiting her turn. She watched him closely, observing his wrist twist as if she instantly noticed the problem. She smiled and then leaned back, sighing as she watched the others leave the building and listened to the decent chit chats of others.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Akki watched the ball get spit back up, and grabbed it quickly. He aligned his aim rather quickly this time, and rolled the ball, trying to get the fast speed he got last time. Instead, the ball curved down the lane, hitting the gutter on the opposite end, in less then 2 seconds. He slouched his back, watching his defeat slowly roll down. "Never was too good at this game.." He hopelessly watched the screen change to Tenshi's name, already hopeful that the game will end. Even though this was his idea, he didn't like it still. Sitting down, he soon noticed the menu right outside the main alley to the bowling alley. Thinking about it made him hungry, but he decided against to ordering food at a random building he had spent a few minutes in. They would at least eat somewhere else, though he hoped it wasn't too expensive. Watching her ball, he straightened his back. He would survive this, no matter how much his ego screamed to stop.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Tenshi tilted her head as she watched it head toward the gutter. She sighed, getting out of her seat as she watches her own name shine on the screen. She walked up to the lane and lifted her bowling ball with a hand. She examined the lane, her headband seeming to move as her head twirls around to see more people come in. She smiled softly before turning forward and walking up to the line. She lightly tossed the ball down the lane as it seemed to rather glide then roll. It hit Inbetween the middle and the side pins as it took out all but the far left pins, only two standing. She brushed her hair back with her fingers as she walked off the lane and awaited her ball. She said nothing, showing basically a straight face as she was content to hearing others talking about.

(You wanna skip to the end of the game?)
Akki groaned as it was his turn again, making a face. He controlled his desperation to get a good score. His mind couldn't help but hope she could make a bad score. He knew he was being mean, but losing to someone who probably never bowled wasn't such the greatest thing in his mind. He watched eagerly as the ball came up by the machine, rolling as it went. The graphics now stopped, showing him the score board. He was losing still, and probably was going to lose this whole game.

(Sure.)
As the minutes went by,the game started to end soon. Tenshi's game was just a normal game,a few strikes and spares with eight's and sevens. She was curious if she did well, taking her ball as it ended and put it along the racks. Her eyes flickered about as she stalked the nearby people's conversations. She heard about a restaurant nearby, and some quite private things. She sighed, rubbing her hands together as her undead flesh was freezing like a penguin in the arctic.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Akki checked the scoreboard in despair, see that he had lost, badly. He had gotten a few more good turns and even a strike, but it soon went downhill. He had mostly gotten zeros. As the machine rumbled a bit and he watched the ball roll up. He looked at Tenshi, and saw that she looked cold. He didn't want to touch her because of last night, though he wanted to at least comfort her. "Is it cold?" He asked, wondering if she was going to start shivering. He walked up the main alley and to the door, catching a look from the girl at the counter. She quickly smiled, then turned to another customer that was in front of her. "If we walk further, we could find somewhere to eat, maybe outside." He made mindless chatter as he walked out from the doors, and put his hand up in front of his eyes. The bowling alley was a lot darker then the outside, where the sun was high in the sky. He stood there for a moment, then began walking towards the buildings farther away.

Tenshi looks at Akki, her head nodding slightly. "Yeah.. I'm quite cold.." she replied, her tone still caring as she looked at the scoreboard. For a first timer, she wasn't that bad. She slowly smiled as she then turned her attention to Akki who was walking away. She chased after him, dropping her shoes off at the counter and bowing her head quickly. She rushed to Akki's side as her eyes quickly adjusted to the light that seeped in. "Farther?" she asked,a bit of worry in her voice. They were quite far from her place, going further she was afraid she could get lost.

Re: A Fox's Tale (M)
Akki saw her come up next to him. He also noticed that she didn't have the bowling shoes still on, while he did. He looked down at them and sighed, not wanting to go back after they had already walked. He barely noticed she said something until they were walking down a hill, cars streaming loudly past them. "Yeah, why are you homesick?" He teased her lightly, squinting his eyes to see her with the glare of light. Another car passed them, and the smell of exhaust did also. He took a shallow breath then held it, trying not to breath in the nauseous fumes. He let his breath out, knowing that the smell was gone. He glanced at Tenshi and then looked ahead, and saw a cafe coming up to there side. "We still have plenty of time to kill, but if you need to go back, you can." He said, wondering why he hadn't thought that she had somewhere to be, or tend to something.

Tenshi froze as the cars zoomed past them, leaving they're loud noise in echoes. She covered her ears with her hand as her headband pressed down more on them. She held her breath, the smell making her stomach tremble with such scents. She parted her lips as she coughed, nodding. "I'm fine.. I'm just a little.. Sensitive about certain things. Like mobile vehicles." she told him, blushing slightly.

Akki nodded to her and walked towards the building, eyeing the open seats in front of the cafe. It had a green roof and overhangs, while big windows gave the onlooker a full view of the floor. "Oh, I didn't know that." He said and looked at her, seeing her blush. "It's nothing to be embarrassed about, a lot of people have a hard time with cars and such." He reassured her, walking up to the cafe. It looked rather empty, but as the streets began to get busier, he imagined that it might get quite crowded, inside anyway. He opened the door for her and hoped that his chivalry wasn't going to go to waste. "You wanna go eat here?" He asked her, already inside the cafe and holding the door behind him.

Tenshi followed, brushing her long and wavy white curls back, looking at him curiously. "I can only imagine. To much electric in those vehicles." she said, sniffing the air as she could smell the delicious coffee fumes. Her mouth watered a bit as she walked closer toward the cafe. She watched Akki hold the door open, hearing his question at a blur as she was focused on the mouth-watering scents. "Yes." she answered, bowing her head as a sign of thanks as she walked in.
