A Fox's Tale (M) Tumblr_ljln5psHlW1qhus0bo1_500
(She has a tail that is not seen in the picture,it's long and white xD)

It was a peaceful night in an abonded village. It was well kept and looked more of a daily used town. Tall buildings rested at every corner until you reached the town square. It had a mighty fountain with a fox that spitted out long streams of water. It was gorgeous as the lamp post shined along it. Cherry blossom trees grew around benches and a road ran through the whole town. It was unusual, how this place had no one.. Or so one person,no,creature thought. Her name was Tenshi. She was sweet, gentle, and most of all, beautiful. Her pale skin shined in the night along with her white strands of hair. Her white fox ears prickled about and her tail swished along her legs. She was a fine holy creature, wearing her komino daily along with normal clothes. Her red markings resembled her beauty and honesty to this world. But,the world didn't appreciate her. They saw her as,a monster. Her fox ears and tail, they called a demon's gift. She was seen as a demon who came from six feet underground to kill anyone and anything in her way. This was not true, not at all! She sighed at the thought, standing outside and leaning against a cherry blossom tree. Her ears were hidden by a black headband that flattened her ears against her hair to make them not visible. She wore a elegant white ball gown that clamped her tail against her legs. Her eyes stared off into the distance, traveling to the stars. "Why must I become.. a fallen goddess?" she whimpered. "Why must I,have to live among these mortals?" she said louder. "None of them appreciate my work! They don't care about me!" she screamed at the stars. ..No response. She frowned, her hands turning into fist as they clunched some grass.

(Basically anyone can join. Preferred is a human, mortal maybe. Male if you wish. She WILL not fight,it's against her nature so.. maybe a hint if you want it to be exciting xD)

A Fox's Tale (M) Empty Re: A Fox's Tale (M)

Akki put his suitcase down, his arm burning from carrying that thing. He had been walking on the outskirts of town for awhile, unable to find anybody. He had gotten lost when his cab driver kicked him out, over charging him while throwing his luggage out. He let out a sigh, breathing hard and he grabbed the suitcase off the ground. He hadn't known how long he had been walking with his two suitcases and his backpack, but he checked his watch on his right wrist. It had only been 5 minutes, but it felt more like 30. "Oh my god!" He yelled and sat on the ground, bending his knee's up to his face. He had been wearing Khaki's and a brown Polo shirt, but both were now smeared with dirt. His legs had a few cuts on them, and his shoes were dusty. Spreading his long legs out, the cold stone felt smooth on his legs, but aggravated his cuts. He sulked for a bit, watching the sun set farther down.
The thought of walking into the unknown at night made him get back up again, grabbing his suitcases and walking. The locals would talk about spirits and stuff, and what comes out after dark. "More supernatural bullshit." He said to no one, trying to avoid the holes in the path. Finally he spotted some buildings, and felt like he could walk faster, despite his luggage feeling like it was getting heavier. As the buildings got closer, he heard someone yell. As he followed a road to it, he noticed a eerie silence through the whole town. He soon realized that no one was here, but the town looked like it was being maintained. Walking faster, he noticed the gleam of lights and running water. He walked closer and noticed a fountain, a fox spraying streams of water. He walked closer to it, then noticed someone by it. He had never seen clothes like that, though they didn't look bad. He also notice the fox ears and tail, but decided that it was his imagination. It would be weird to ask someone about that, realizing that your brain had just tricked you.

"Uhh, you know where any inns or lodges are?" He asked loudly, trying to talk to the female from his distance. He walked up closer to the fountain, seeing his reflection. His mud-brown hair wasn't that bad, but his amber eyes noticed a lot of dirt on his face. How did it get so dirty from just walking, he didn't know. He turned to face her, hoping that she could answer him.

Tenshi jerked her head to the sudden footsteps of someone coming into the town. Her face light up with joy. Finally! Someone who she could talk to,but, what if he or she asked about her tail and ears? She sighed and then got up to her feet as her long gown glistened in the night sky. She saw the figure approaching her, going more toward the fountain. She listened to his call, being quite shy to speak. This was her first time ever talking to a person in hundreds of years! "Y-yes.." she squeaked, her hand up to her mouth as her ears were pricked high. She motioned him to come closer to her, walking away at a quite fast pace as she sniffed the air. A Inn? I don't know what an Inn is! She said to herself. Maybe she should just offer an house to him? It would be better off like that anyway.

His head jerked up hearing the women speak, more glad then freaked out about her ears and tail. "That's amazing. Err, does it get much business or is crowded?" He asked, walking quickly to join her. He jogged a bit, but then slowed down to a few feet behind her, trying to pull his luggage. "I guess it's a dead zone." He mumbled, checking out his phone. It had no bars of course, but the bright screen warned him about his battery. He cursed mentally and looked at the buildings, hoping to find some evidence that the town had electricity. Feeling stupid for thinking that, he quickened his pace to keep up with her. "Uhh sorry for the questions since you seem on edge today, but what's your name and does the Inn have electricity?" He said, eyeing her ears and tail. It seemed rude to ask, but if the ears and tails were real, who was this girl. He decided not to ask, at least not now. Following her a bit, he faltered but kept his distance.

She slowed down to make sure Akki was by her side. She watched him walk, seeing his dirty face and luggage. He must've been in business or a run away. Either way,he needed to be cleaned and treated fair. She halted in front of a normal sized house, opening the door and looking at him. Her emerald eyes studied him before she answered his questions with her gentle and caring voice. "I don't know where the Inn is but, there is a free house here. We rarely get any visitors," she continued, "I'm Tenshi, and we have electricity but,no service is usually found here." she smiled softly. "The bathroom is to the left of your house, the bedrooms are upstairs, and there is some food that you can heat up in the kitchen which is to your right. There should be some clothes in all sizes, find one that might fight." she turned around, walking away after giving him the information about his new residence.

Akki turned towards her, nodding at everything she said. "Thank you, my name is Akki." He informed, dragging his luggage up to the house a bit, looking uncertain. What if this was exactly like a plot from a horror movie, where the girl kills all the visitors. He calmed down his wild mind and dragged the suitcases in, his arms feeling like jelly and his shoulders feeling sore. He placed his suitcases by the door, looking to the girl. Seeing that she was walking away, he dropped his backpack. "Hey! Uh, where are you going?" He yelled, feeling much better without the added weight on his back. The thought of her leaving left his imagination to run wild. What if she was getting her chainsaw ready, or her cutting blade? He shivered and ran faster, trying to catch up to her. Once she was arms length from him, he put his hand on her shoulder. "Where are you going!?" He asked, breathing hard again.

Tenshi jumped at the touch of his hand. She turned around swiftly, her eyes wide with horror. She remembered the last time she felt that touch.. She was badly scared but they healed. She smacked his hand off her shoulder as she backed away. She looked frightened, her tail between her legs and ears down. "To my house!" she shouted to him. She could see him panting, doing the same herself as her heart almost leaped out of her chest.

Akki took a step back, putting his hand down at his side. He hadn't met to frighten her, and decided to leave her alone. Still feeling the smack on his hand, he started to back away. "I'm sorry....thanks for the room." He said quickly, then ran the other way. Oh god, was he going to be chained up and tortured tonight. Shaking more dumb horror flicks out of his head, he halted at his house. He walked slowly inside of it, searching for a light switch. Outside suddenly seemed to get darker as only a few lights flickered on the house, above the kitchen area and living room. He saw a few outlets, and gave a sigh of relief. Pulling his bags toward the living room, he felt his stomach growl. As he carried his backpack and put it on the brown couch, and walked over to the kitchen. It didn't look too old, but it felt...old? He opened the fridge and found a few pieces of meat and some bead. Grabbing some, he got some pieces of bread and decided to make himself some meat sandwiches. Looking around, he knew that he wasn't going to get room service. Finishing a few sandwiches, he took one and held it in his hand, then opened one of the doors. It had a creak that made his skin crawl, opening up to a small bedroom. He took a bite out of his sandwich and stared at it, then sat on the bed. Finishing his first sandwich up, he went to get the rest. His stuff was on the couch still, though he dozed off to sleep, trying to fight the thoughts of the last horror movie he saw.

Tenshi didn't reply,no,she was to scared to. She turned around and ran into a not-so-far away house and shut the door. She locked it from the inside as the lights went on by themselves. This was her home.. a normal, country residence. She sighed in relief as she saw the familiar surroundings that brought joy to her. She walked to her bedroom, opening the door as it creaked. She learned to ignore the noises, closing it behind her and then leaping into her bed. She felt sorry for how she treated the new guy in town. Maybe she could make it up to him? She got out of bed and got dressed, walking downstairs..

(Going to skip to morning.)

The next day,a sweet scent filled the whole town as it made anyone's stomach whine for the delicious meal. Tenshi was in her kitchen, dressed in a sweater with a skirt. Her tail was tucked under it,hiding it while she wore a headband that matched her hair color perfectly, including her hair covering her ears under the headband so she looked like a normal human being. She hoped her visitor thought he was drunk last night,or very sleepy, because she didn't want any questions asked about her special genes. She took out mouth watering biscuits from the oven, pouring some cinnamon on it while she spread frosting. Maybe he would like these?

Post by Emoticon Mon Jan 21, 2013 1:26 pm

Akki turned his head sideways, looking at the walls in the room. He slowly realized the light that was coming in was from a window. Moving a bit, he crawled himself towards the corner of his bed. He couldn't see anything except a few trees, and got up. It didn't look too late, or too early. Rolling on the balls of his feet, he stood up and walked towards the door, thinking of how silly he must have been last night. Walking towards the kitchen, he saw the remains of his dinner. Grabbing a paper towel and wiping down the mess, he looked at his reflection in the mirror that was in the living room. His hair was wild and flattened, while his clothes looked okay, except for a stain by his neck. Grabbing a bag and quickly zipping through it, he picked out some clean clothes from the top. His stomach growled, so he rushed to put on some clean clothes and go out the door.

Akki closed the door quickly, looking around his surroundings. The sunlight was bright outside, taking a few moments for his eyes to adjust. He wore something brighter, but instead of a brown polo shirt, he had a light blue one. He had the same shoes he had on yesterday, though he had on plaid shorts, longer then the ones yesterday. He had brushed his hair as best as he could, but a few pieces still remained in awkward positions. He looked his way towards the house that she was in, sensing movement. He walked slowly towards it, not sure that he should be just walking over to his room's owner like that. Better be friendly He thought to himself. Knocking on the door, he shifted lightly. "Uh, Hello!" He said loudly, wondering if he had made a mistake and this hadn't been the house that she was in.

Tenshi pricked her head toward the door. The sounds of footsteps made her face brighten with joy. He was awake! Great! She smiled and picked up the batch of biscuits and placed them on the kitchen table before checking in the reflection of the microwave if she looked good. She was perfect,to herself at least. She quickly raced to the door as she heard his knocking. "Coming!" she called to him,her hand gently taking the doorknob and turning it slowly. She peeped through to make sure it was him. Check! It was. She opened it and bowed out of respect. "Hello! Did you enjoy your rest?" she asked, curious if he liked being here a bit.

Akki soon brightened up, knowing that he had picked the right house. He might have looked like a idiot if he just stood around there, waiting for someone to answer. As he relaxed, he saw her open the door. He had expected her to have the ears and tail, but with a quick look, didn't notice anything. He smiled as his gaze wondered a bit on her body, but soon looked at her face. The smell had waved in his nose, instantly making him hungrier. "It was great." He nodded as he walked in, walking towards the smell of the food. Seeing the food on the table, he rushed quickly and took a bite out of it. He felt it slide down his throat, and picked up another one. By the time he had took a bite out of his second biscuit, he realized that he might have just ate her breakfast. "Oh....I'm so sorry." He said and blushed, putting down the second biscuit even if his body told him not too.

Tenshi smiled. "Good,it took awhile to get that house set up." she told him, watching his eyes study her. She looked a bit curious at him, then watched as he walked toward the biscuits and start eating them. She blushed a bit, leaning on her door as she watched him enjoy the delicious treat. She then tilted her head as he put it down. "Oh no! They're not mine,I made them for you!" she giggled. "Thought I'd treat a visitor to something quite appetizing." she closed the door to stop the breeze from coming in. Her tail wagged a bit under her skirt, making it move as she walked toward him. "So,where you from?" she asked casually.

Akki soon picked up the biscuit, relieved that he wasn't going to anger her. He wolfed down a few more, but then started to enjoy them a bit. He pondered her question over a bit, listening to her giggle. "Thank you." He said politely and began to lean on the table a bit. When she closed the door he glanced at her, his eyes catching the movement. He took a second look, seeing that the movement had stopped. He couldn't see anything, and wondered if he had just imagined. It seemed so silly to talk about what he saw on her last night, and decided not to say anything. He didn't want her to think that he had some sort of mental illness. As he took one of the few remaining biscuits left, he opened up a chair and leaned back on it, listening to her question. "Well not from around here really. I'm here on a trip to take an interview for a job. It's overseas, but it will help me make some money for college, since I don't have enough money for next year." He stated, picking at the edge of the table a bit. "What do you do here?" He asked.

Tenshi didn't respond to any of the things he stated, only listening with great focus. She walked toward the table, leaning on it as she flattened down her skirt and fixed her headband a bit,her ears getting slightly itchy but she ignored it for her sake. "Well then, sounds very good!" she said to him, smiling. She then started to think about his question. What did she do? She mostly helped wandering animals, her main purpose for being here was to heal the injured and treat others fairly. She shrugged. "Nothing I guess.. I help injured animals when they wonder here. It's been ages since I've seen another person come by." she looked at him,her emerald eyes enchanting as her rosey cheeks showed and her sweet, innocent smile spread across her face.

Akki studied her for a moment, then checked his watch. He needed to get going soon, even though he had a few days or a week to get to the interview. His mom had paid for his ticket, hoping that he could get a job to continue college. The fact that this was free allowed himself to save at least a bit of money. He hoped that he wouldn't piss her off and end up leaving, though he didn't know what to do if he did stay. "Injured animals? Wow, I didn't know you were that nice." He said, trying to hide his interest in what she said. As she gave him her smile, he smiled back. Even though that's what she probably did, his mind wouldn't let something that simple go by. Deciding to share his plans with her since she seemed innocent enough, he got even more comfortable in his chair."Well I have to be there in about a week, though I have some time to waste. Do you know of anything to do around her, or the nearest city?" He asked.

Tenshi tilted her head. "Of course I'm nice!" she smiled at him again, giggling. She then thought about his next question. City.. City.. It's been so long! She looked down as she thought of an excuse. "I haven't left this village since I was 8 years." she looked at him. "My mom passed away when I was six,I used to go and find berries to eat and stuff. But no,haven't seen any city's nearby." she sighed, hoping she didn't disappoint him. She didn't want to be lonely either, but he did need his education. So,she thought if he had to go mine as well let him.

Akki nodded his head slowly, not expecting that answer. Maybe a 'I don't know' or 'I'm bad with directions', but not leaving this desolated place for 8 years..."Wow that's a...long time." He interrupted his thoughts, wondering if what she said was true. The silence before her answer told it, but he decided not to pursue it; This lady was offering one of her homes to him free of charge. He hadn't known someone with that generous personality in a long time. She seemed to be the type that would cry, though not knowing much, he could be wrong. But staying here for 8 years....was a little surprising for him. "Well, I might go out of town, since I need to find some internet and a signal, but since you haven't been out in so long, would you care to go with me? If not, can you show me the way out?" He asked, not knowing whether or not to be careful brushing along the subject.

Tenshi nodded. "Yes,a long time. About.. 8 years ago." she said, giving away her mortal age as she looked away. Her ears bounced slightly under her headband as she heard his question. "Sure! I'll go!" she jerked her head to him, seeming over joyed to leave this town. She never wanted to leave, only because of being afraid of getting lost in the woods. She looked into his eyes, awaiting a response now as she tried to fight her animal instincts as it told her tail to wag.

Akki hesitated for a moment, his brain slowing down for a moment. Suddenly he got up, his brain working again. "That's great! Now do you know how to get out of these woods?" He asked, feeling as if he just killed her excitement. Something about her seemed off in a way, then he finally realized. "Wait, if your mom died when you were six..." He stopped his brain suddenly realizing to do the math. "That means your only 14, and you lived on your own when you were that young?" He said cautiously, wondering if she had told him a fib. He didn't want to ruin his stay by poking too far into her business, and then backed up. "Sorry, never mind. I'll just say I'm watching over for your parents then." He muttered, getting up and standing by the door, wondering if he was really going to do this.

Tenshi laughed. His brain wasn't that well worked she guessed. "I'm sixteen. I said eight years ago, plus eight, means I'm sixteen." she did the math simply in her head, sighing. "Yeah, lived here for that long." she didn't seem bothered by those questions. It was normal for a human to be curious,it was in they're nature! She then followed him to the door, brushed her hair back as she adjusted her headband once more as she let out a tiny growl from her ears being folded down.

Akki mumbled something again, barely audible. "Okay.." He simply muttered and walked out the door, hearing something come from her direction. He turned half-way to see where the direction was coming from, and it seemed to come from her. Shaking it off, he walked towards his home, wondering if she was following or not. "Hey, do you know the way out of here, or do we just follow the road?" He asked and stepped inside, unzipping his suitcase and grabbing out a blue umbrella. He stopped back out quickly, closing the door. "Just in case it rains." He said, giving a light smile to her. He put the umbrella in his side pocket, then looked at the road that was stretching through town. "I guess we could go the way I came, it has a lot busier street and we might be able to follow it to a taxi service or something. But do you want to go out in something that formal?" He asked, looking at her clothes. She would probably raise questions, and being looked at walking on the road wouldn't be the best thing.

Tenshi followed him, done fighting with her headband as she watched from outside his house. "I'm sure it wont, the sky is bright and not a cloud in sight!" she smiled at him, knowing her animal senses could tell no sign of rains. She looked at the road, looking both directions as she pointed to the way he came. "Yeah, that way would be best. And of course! What's going to happen?" she looked at him as if expecting him to say something.

Akki looked at her for a moment, then started following the path where he took, hoping he was going in the right direction. "Ah, just in case. I think I saw rain for this area before I lost a signal." He said, then looked at her. That would be a problem, but if they were careful they might not attract too much attention. "Well if you go like that, you might get mu-" He stopped, thinking about what she said. Even if she had managed to stay alive and alone for that long, she wouldn't know what to do. He was responsible for taking care of her, and he sighed a bit. All he had asked her to do was to go to town with them, and it ends up complicated like this. With a shrug, he decided to let it be. As he started to walk, the place seemed familiar to him, but he could see more details then he did last night. The girl was weird, but that didn't mean that he had to be mean to her.
