Akki wanted to go now, since he figured that his shift had ended, but Kara didn't move. Instead, she acted like her annoying self. She would occasionally make noises when she was texting. Looking outside and seeing that the sky was disappearing, he finally decided to move anyway. "Move, Kara." He said, though he spoke through gritted teeth. She didn't bother to move or react. Walking towards the kitchen, he could see the lady washing bowls. "Ah Akki, I know that you've been through one of our most busiest days. I hope that my feeling on you is correct, since I laid off two of our more come-and-go employees." She said, turning the water off and putting a dish in the dishwasher. Akki didn't know what to say, and he stayed silent, not wanting to ruin anything that might be happening. The lady took a look at him. "I made you a full-time employee, so sorry about the absent lunch break. You have the day off tomorrow as my thanks!" She said, walking and then making a bunch of noise. He took off his apron, hearing Kara argue with that Derek guy. Walking out of the restaurant, he sighed. His feet ached and he could use a few hours of relaxation. He had a few hours of sunlight left, so he decided to enjoy it. He set off towards the park, hoping that the trip would pick him up a little.

Tenshi sighed, putting her finger against the stone being. Her eyes watched keenly on the Chickadee was it shuffled off her finger and wallowed in the crystal water. She drew her hands close to her chest, her eyes fixing on the fading sun. It was dark, stars grew along the eternal darkness. It was just like home, only a bit.. Busier. She missed her angelic home upstairs. She had her mother, her sister, and her pet. She shrugged. She knew about the consequences of accepting such a godly task. So why whimper over the past? She pushed off the fountain, turning around and walking down the same stone path.

Akki had spotted the park and walked around a bit more. He saw a bench not too far away, but he felt like setting on the edge of a stone wall. His legs dangled off of it, and he had a good view of the rest of the park. As he looked down at the wall he was on, he noticed that the path behind it was also made of stone. He didn't feel like walking back to the house, not yet. A breeze blew from behind him, blowing his hair a bit. He could hear footsteps coming from the path, and he saw a person. It looked familiar, then he saw her. "Tenshi!" He called out, not expecting to see her. She looked better then when she did in the morning.

Tenshi lifted her head, hearing her name called. She quickly tracked the source, seeing Akki. She walked towards him, walking off that stone path into some grassy patches. "Akki!" she responded,a giggle escaping her mouth. Her eyes fluttered at the passing wind, her hair blowing behind her like a trail of silver threads. She walked up to the bench, looking down at him. "Work's done? Any good news?" she asked him,not wanting to override him with bunches of questions.

Akki saw her excitement, which bothered him. He wouldn't expect her to giggle when she saw him, especially after what happened this morning. She seemed suspiciously happy. He thought that she might be hiding something. He wouldn't pry, but he wouldn't have her trying to distract him. "Works never done." He said, sounding sadder then he actually was. "Full-time job, next day off, work." He added, this time more peppy; but with fake enthusiasm. His eyes glanced at her hands, then her mouth. He was looking for any traces of blood, even though it was unlikely.

Tenshi lifted her head at him. She sighed. "Aww. I'm sorry. I hope it gets better." She assured him,or at least tried to. She watched his eyes examine her,her hands reaching up to her lips. "Is.. Anything wrong?" She asked, her eyes searching his for a sign of.. Well anything.

Akki nodded blankly, not really caring. He just wanted to sleep at this point. He was aware that his looking made her self-conscious. "Is vomiting up blood another god thing?" He asked rashly. He stretched his legs, then hopped down from the stone wall. He was aware of the protest of his feet at him walking again, but he ignored it. Leaning on the wall, he looked at Tenshi's face again, searching her eyes for an expression.

Tenshi giggled at his comment. She never took anything harsh about Gods. But,there were things that hurt her rather deeply. "I know why I bled. But,that would ware your brain more then it should be. Anyways, need help home? Unless your staying over night." She smiled to him.

Akki was surprised that she had giggled at the comment. He hadn't expected to her to giggle at what he said, nor take offense at it. He wanted to ask what it was, but felt that the question might be a little out of place. Instead, he nodded at her offering. "Why would you have blood if you're a god?" He asked.

Tenshi looked at him. "Well,I don't want to be seen as a god walking around. What would happen if I got cut by a mortal? Wouldn't they be like "What the?" Or,if I get in a bar fight, like, what would the strongest men think of me as I throw them through a window?" She asked him, trying to make it sound.. Normal.

Akki began to walk, nodding along with what she was saying. He wasn't paying much attention, so vaguely got her point. "Yet whoever chose you to try and hide among us and to seem normal still gave you powers of a god." He noticed that his speech was changing, though didn't really care. He was getting grumpy, and his mind was filled with snappy questions and spiteful responses to her.

"No." He resisted, jerking his hand back. "I can walk home by myself fine." He snapped, while a part of his brain knew that he was taking his anger out on her. Muttering under his breath, he continued to walk. He didn't look back at Tenshi, just in case that he felt sorry and wanted to apologize. He didn't feel like saying sorry to her, she was fine.

Tenshi frowned as he snapped at her. She lowered her hands to her sides as she held her head down. "Okay.. Sorry." She apologized. She didn't know why but,it felt needed. She followed behind him,her ears twitching under her hood. She was confused why he was like this.

Akki had heard her apologize, which he really didn't care for. He turned around, casting a hard glance on her. If he didn't get out of her sights soon, he would feel sorry. He really didn't feel like saying sorry to her. Angry thoughts came up, all directed at her. He took a deep breath, calming himself down, but not asking why he thought the way he did. He was jogging now, becoming slightly out-of-breath. It sounded like he was making a big deal about nothing, which ebbed his anger down a bit. Just thinking about how much of a ass he was being for not wanting to stay at an inn.

Tenshi held her head down as she followed him, kicking a few pebbles on the walkway before sighing. She was going to head back home. I mean,it was hers anyway, who cared if he didn't want to go? Not like she hasn't lived without him for like, centuries. She ran ahead of him, leaving his wandering soul behind as she rushed back home. She hated to be in an evil aura,it always made her feel too down and worry. Besides,it was just a hard work day.. Right?

Akki started out in a hard run, determined to not think about it. His guilty conscious would stab him in the back later. He found the houses quickly, but his muscles felt tired and weak. He leaned on a old, withered wooden house. He was breathing fast, feeling his throat dry out because of it. He put more of his weight on it, and then he fell through. He let out a mangled yell before he hit the floor. He broke the fall with his side, but his shoulder was hurting. Dust was floating in the air, making it hard to see while getting inside his lungs. He pulled up his shirt over his nose, barely able to do just that. Planks of wood had collapsed on him, some light, while some heavy.

Tenshi walked far ahead, taking off her hoodie before looking at him. She saw his body inside the dust cloud,a smile coming across her face. She held back a giggle, even though he could be seriously hurt. She turned around, walking behind a building. A light orb circled her at a rapid pace before slowing down. Her body was cloaked in silver until her shape shifted. She was a white, snow white in fact, fox. Her eyes were perfect emeralds while her hair was graceful. She padded to Akki, her eyes easily seeing through the dust cloud. She prodded his leg with her wet nose

Akki tried to move his left leg, but found that it was buried under something heavy. He tried to slide his leg from out under the plank, but the wood rubbed uncomfortably against his skin. He twisted himself, now face up. The dust was beginning to settle around his eyes, though he could hear something. Then he felt something cold, and wet. He let out a scream and began to thrash around, sliding his leg out from the plank. He could also feel the abrasions and the pieces of wood that were now in his leg. He managed to stumble up before he stepped on a weak spot, and the wood crumbled underneath him. His leg got trapped, but didn't fully sink in. The points where the wood broke off were jagged though, and cut into him. He let out a grunt as he felt the blood run down his leg and into his ankle. A large splinter of wood was now in his arm, bleeding steadily. He saw from the dim light that it was very thick. He grabbed it and tensed, wondering how bad it would hurt. He pulled it out quickly, but not too fast. He let out a small squeal of pain as his arm throbbed.

Tenshi gasped, her eyes wide in fear. She rushed over to Akki but, stopped. Her pure white coat was easily seen through the dust clouds but,she wouldn't go further. She knew it was her fault that he had backed up into that hell hole. It made her feel sorry, and also very depressed. Her head lowered, her tail slapping the wooden floor as her eyes showed her innocence. She sneaked over to Akki's pool of blood, looking up to his throbbing arm. She whimpered, wishing to comfort him.

Akki stopped breathing for a few seconds as he saw something come towards him. He was gritting his teeth, trying not to scream in agony. The dust didn't seem to settle fast enough. He twisted his body, but all he got was protests. He tested his leg, sliding it closer to his body. He knew where some cuts where, while he thought that some might be on his calf. Something thumped around him, and he raised his head. He could see a figure, then heard a whine from it. He knew who it was, though didn't let himself believe. He gasped as his arm jerked, shaking from the pain. He let out a strangled cry, trying to crawl away from the figure.

Tenshi snarled as he squirmed from her. She was getting her shirt temper back with Akki. She looked down to his wounds, seeing the blood splatters. She looked around, padding outside. Maybe she could get an animal friend? A great elk could help with his antlers. Or maybe a bear with its shear strength. But,there'd be no promises with a bear.. She grumbled, jogging off.

Akki held his breath as he heard the thing move. His breaths were short and shallow for a while, but then he gasped for air. It seemed to be gone, even though he knew who it was. "Because if you make me bleed over a abandoned house you get mad." He muttered to himself, remembering the snarl. Maybe something else was there. He tested the wood around him, pressing on it with his hand. Finally, he grabbed something sharp sticking out on the side of the wall. He didn't want to know what it was, since it seemed like it was already sticky. Using it to hold himself up, he could barely see. He couldn't even see the wounds on his body. Shuddering as he thought about all the blood on him, he carefully made his way out. He saw what he guessed could be drops and puddles of his blood.

Tenshi stopped as she heard movement. Her eyes rolled as she lifted her shoulders. Guess he got out.. She said with a sigh. She padded back to him, seeing the blood pools and choking. Her tongue rolled out, hacking at the sight as she backed away. She hated blood, which was obviously known. At least she could handle drops but,not puddles like now.

Akki let himself have one last look at the blood, surprised by the amount. He clenched his jaw and kept walking, eyeing the cuts on him. He was right by the door to his house when the pain seemed to become worse. He sucked in air to keep himself from crying out. Some of the blood from his arms was now dripping over the floors, but he didn't care. He opened the bathroom door and turned the water on, crouching over the tub. As carefully as he tried to take his clothes off, the fabric still touched some of his cuts. Stepping into the shower made the blood look worse. He could see his cuts clearly now. Most of the cuts had stopped bleeding, but there were bigger ones on his legs and shoulders.
