I felt my heart drop and I put my hand on her arm "Sorry, I had no idea" I said. Frowning at my stupidity to ask. I had forgotten about how early humans died. That was another thing that wasn't quite right in our relationship, but we would work through it.

Molly smiled and turned her head to look at him, "It's all right." Molly turned back on her side, staring at the wall. "He died of cancer." Molly sighed again but decided instead that she'd be contented with staring at the wall. "What about your father?" She asked quietly.

I nod at her words and roll onto my back. Listening to her question. "Well, there are only male werewolves. That's all there ever will be, and he simply never cared to stay. Or tell my mother or me that he was a werewolf and I would soon be one" I say and pause. Taking a breath. "So I lived the way I did, a terrible life of murder, because I didn't know what else to do"

Molly sighed at his story. "I'm sorry." She rolled over to see him on his back, and she wrapped a hand over his stomach and hugged herself as close to him as she could without pressing her stomach too hard. "I'm so, so sorry." She repeated, kissing his shoulder gently.

"It's everything but your fault" I say, looking over at her and kissing her nose lovingly. "Don't apologize, he wasn't a nice man anyway" My eyes found hers before I glanced out the window. Thankful I still had some time before the moon rose. I look back at Molly. Placing a hand on her stomach lightly to feel a small movement. I look down and smile small. The little creature inside of her obviously awake.

Molly smiled gently when she felt his lips on her nose. She shook her head, "I can't help but feel sorry for you." Molly felt the baby kick as Jake laid a hand on her stomach, and she saw him look at her belly and smile. "I love you, Jake..." she murmured, closing her eyes. "How much longer do you have until you transform?" Molly asked, opening her eyes again.

Her words surprised me. That was the first time since my mother kicked me out that someone had said that too me. When I looked to meet her eyes, they were closed. "I love you too, Molly" I say, words nearly a whisper. Her next words moved my eyes to the window. "Thirty minutes, probably" I said and look back at her. I hoped this entire transformation thing would become a normal thing with us.

Molly smiled when she heard him say he loved her, too. Something inside her wondered if he meant it. Molly wasn't more of a dominant one, but she felt some urge to kiss him. Molly rolled him over so they were facing each other again, and she stared into his amazingly green eyes for a moment, emotions stirring inside of her. Love, only a slight bit of lust, and the feeling of being wanted. With a bit of nervousness on how he would respond, Molly planted her lips gently on his, one hand traveling up behind his head, carressing it gently.

I place a hand on her back and return the kiss. Closing my eyes and savoring her taste. The feeling of our lips together amazing. It seemed to relax every muscle in my body. Drown out the thoughts of the world. And bring about a part of me I didn't know existed. It was hard to believe. All of this, for me. Someone who actually loved me. And knew my secret.

Molly smiled through the kiss, feeling him return it. She could feel him almost instantly relax. She found it hard to think about anything else besides him. She pulled back only for a second to take a breath, looking into his eyes and smiling, kissing him gently one more time. She hugged him closely and nearly began crying; she was so happy that somebody loved her for who she was, not what she looked like or what she did. She snuggled against him and burried her head in hist chest. "I love you so much." She said quietly.

I let my eyes open into hers, breathing slightly labored. I hug her closely, yet gently, back. Her words making me smile. I rest my eyes and run my hand over her head and hair "I love you more" I nearly teased. But kept it passionate and romantic. Kissing the top of her head gingerly.

Molly chuckled at his jest, shaking her head gently as if to disagree, yet she didn't argue back. It was nice to have the feeling of him being so close to her, but she knew they only had about twenty-five minutes left before his transformation. "Will you ever be able to sleep at night with me, Jake?" she asked curiously. "I mean, you did it one night. The first night we were in a hotel room together."

I frown slightly and prop myself onto my elbows. Looking out the window. "I was exhausted that night, hun, I don't know" I said simply, regreting the feeling of her being so disappointed that we couldn't spend the night together.

Mollh sighed and looked into his eyes for a moment. She'd wanted a different answer, although she'd known he was basically going to say: "no." The thought disappointed her quite a bit. She pushed the thought out of her mind and did her best to accept the fact. She smiled weakly at him and kissed his lips gently. "It's all right. I still love you." Molly smiled, this time, a real smile.

I sigh at her weak smile, but kiss her lips eagerly. Her words playing in my mind almost like one of the nursery rhymes when they are played in a horror movie. "And I love you" I say, resting my eyes as I lean back against the bed.

Molly grimaced after his eyes were closed and rolled onto her back, placing her hands on her stomach, lacing her fingers together. She smiled when she felt the child kick again, but she realized soon afterwards she was in no mood to sleep anymore. The tiredness had been chased out of her after their discussion and short kissing session. She tilted her head to look at his closed eyes, then sighed happily. For now, she was content to lay there in silence and stare at the ceiling.

I open one eyes as she smiles at the kicking of the child. Near jealousy began to rise in my heart, but I forced the ridiculous feeling away. Looking out the window to check my time. I look back over at Molly and kiss her forhead "I'm sorry"

Molly saw his eyes open as he stared out the window, then looked at her. Molly felt her heart sink tremendously when he said he was sorry, and she let out a long, dreary[sp?] sigh, closing her eyes. In truth, she wished he was different. Yes, she loved him with all of her heart, but she simply wanted things to be easy. After the episode with Jordan, that's all she wanted. She continued to tell herself it'd all work out in time, yet no matter how many times he tried to convince herself, it didn't work. She swung her legs off the bed and went to stand by the window, staring out at the rising moon.

I wince as she stands up and walks over to the window. I could already feel the change in myself. Feeling more anger than love, more aggression or lust than tenderness. With reluctance, I stand up and walk towards the door. Not to the bathroom this time. Pausing momentarily before turning the knob and stepping outside. I leaned against the door for a few seconds. I still had around 12 minutes, but I didn't want to risk anything around Molly.

Molly sighed as she turned her head slightly and watched him walk out, her eyes misted with tears. Why couldn't it be different? Molly knew it wasn't safe to have a child around him, especially when he turned into his werewolf form... nightly. He had warned her, though. He had warned her, and Molly had chosen to follow him. Molly smiled slightly as she remembered their first real kiss, on the doorstep of her house, with the neighbors crowding around and watching them. Molly sighed happily and pulled up a chair beside the window. Hopefully, she'd be able to stay awake and watch the moon rise and fall. She sat down on the chair and curled up in it, resting her head on the back of it, staring out the window and at the gleaming orb of moon.

I had made my way out of the city just before the change. Laying down and resting my head in my paws in the damp bed of a cave. Wet minerals in the air, the steady dripping of water. Sure, it felt more like home, but I didn't like it. I didn't like being away. I wondered if I could change. Change to be more in control during this form. This actually gave me hope. Maybe for a few nights I could practice being around people without murdering them, or without having much of an urge to murder them..

Molly knew she wouldn't be able to stay awake, as her mind wandered and clouded with thoughts of sleep. She turned on the radio and they were playing "Open Up Your Eyes" by Daughtry. It wasn't a particularly pleasant song, but she listened to it anyways. Having something to concentrate on would keep her awake. She slowly began to wonder where he'd gone... and before she knew it, she'd drifted into a light sleep, the radio still playing in the background.

The lack of need for sleep brought me to a standing position. Standing and stretching like that of a rogue wolf. No typical person would suspect that this was part human. I shake my massive body and lift into a small trot. Amber eyes washing over the terrain before I slowed and walked down a small trail. Trees rising around me like soldiers standing firm guard. I catch the scent of a small, lost doe and crouch into the darkness. I would have to find a different food source from now on.

Re: Such Unspoken Mystery Is Like Playing With Fire [ Thunderstruck ]
Molly was awoken by the sound of harsh knocking on the door. She nearly jumped out of her seat, but managed only to topple off the side. "Shit," she murmured, pulling herself off the ground, thankful she hadn't hurt her stomach. She put her hair into a messy bun, seeing as it had become disheveled even from the few minutes of sleep she had gotten. It'd obviously been restless. She didn't even bother to look through the peep-hole in the door before cracking it slightly open. She stared nervously as she saw the two police officers from earlier. She opened the door wider and gave a nervous smile, "Hello, officers," she said, trying to act natural. They immediately welcomed themselves in and began questioning her about her 'husband.' They obviously thought Jake and her were married.
"He's... out right now..." Molly said timidly, seeing the skepticism in their faces. What'd Jake done with these cops? They looked thoroughly vexed at her answer.

The doe caught my scent, my stupid self standing upwind to her, and she bounds away faster than I could manuever in the trees. With dissappointment toying with me, I turn around and lope back to the city. I wasn't all that hungry anyway. I just needed to 'practice' being calm around people.
[sorry]
