I watch him for a moment, giving a small squeal of excitment. I shake my head, laughing slightly and then ran to catch up with him, grinning.

I chuckle, laughing lightly. I stick my foot out as she came up to me, tripping her. RIght before she hit the water, she felt my hands on her waist, tightening as I pulled her back up.
"Excited?" I ask teasingly.

I grunt slightly and shove him playfully. "Like you aren't."

~ John~

I roll my eyes.
"I'm gonna spend time on the beach when I could be surfing with one who can't surf. Yep, I'm thrilled," I say sarcastically, a hint of teasing in my vocie as I smile at her to show I was joking.
"But who wouldn't give surfing in to spend time with a pretty little girl," I say, putting emphaiss on "girl".

I scoff. "Little? Girl? Ha! And I'm spending my time with the little boy who likes to tease me." I stuck out my tongue.
He didn't know it, but I secretly liked the way he teased. It made me feel special...and the way he touched me...caught me as I fell...

~ John~

I chuckle.
"Of course," I say, laughing lightly as we make it to the beach.

I smile as my barefeet touch the ever warming sand. It squashed between my toes as I sank in.

~ John~

I smile, standing my board in the sand in a line of others. A few surfers whistled at her as we walked past, but I ignored them as I always did. I plop down in the sand, my eyes looking up at her with a sly smile on my face.

I rolled my eyes and plopped down next to him.

[• Echo]

~ John~

I smile at her.
"Ignore the idiots," I say, looking out at the ocean.

I let out a small laugh. "They actually seem to notice." I gave him another playful shove and then leaned back, staring upwards.

~ John~

I smile, pushing her gently. I lay down in the sand, not caring that I was getting sand on me. I could rinse it off in the ocean.

I let out a soft and happy sigh. I closed my eyes and slid down carefully into the sand. The small hot grains warmed my back and I rested my head on my hands.

~ John~

I smile, watching her for a moment.

I open one of my eyes and glance at him. I close it again and laugh. "Don't stare."

~ John~

I laugh.
"I'm sorry I forgot my camera," I say with a smirk.

I open my eyes and sit up. "That's too bad...this would've looked pretty sexy on your wall." I grinned.

~ John~

I chuckle, shaking my head.
"Yep," I say, grinning.

I smile, my eyes twinkling in the bright sunlight.
I stifled a yawn. "So now what do you wanna do?"

~ John~

"Well," I say, standing up and brushing as much sand off of me as possible.
"First, rinse this off in the showers over there, and then, I can take you to the best burger house in the state," I say with a grin.

I stand up. "Alright." I grin.

~ John~

I chuckle, picking my board up. Walking over to the parking lot by the showers, I walk to a red dodge truck, throwing the board in the back.
"Need a towel, or do you have one?" I ask her.

I thought for a moment and then smiled. "Do you have an extra one?"

[• Echo]

~ John~

I nod, opening the back, left door. I pull out a long, green and blue beach towel, handing it to her.
"Just in case I meet a pretty girl like you, I always have an extra," I say, pulling out another red and orange one.

I grin and take the towel. "My favorite colors." I laugh slightly and hold it up to my face, taking in the sweet scent that clung to it's tiny particles.
