I got out of the car and walked up to John's side.

I push open the door into the bar, the lighting darker than outside. I make my way over to a few empty seats at the counter where a bartender was cleaning a glass.

I followed John slowly, gazing around, and then took a seat next to him.
I watched a few mean looking men with tattoos running down their arms play billiards.

[• Echo]

~ John~

I chuckled softly, sitting down on a stool.
"Pay no attention to them. They fall into the "idiot" category," I say lowly to her, too low for anyone but her to hear.

I nod and turn around, facing the bartender.

[• Echo]

~ John~

The bartender came up to us, watching us. I lookat Nemui.
"What are you getting?" I ask.

I think for a moment and then sigh. "Just give me some beer...or maybe I just want a shot..."

[• Echo]

~ John~

I smile small, watching the bartender arch his eyebrows at her.
"Two beers for now," I say. He nodded and set them in front of us, picking his glass up again and walking to a couple others at the bar.

I nod. "Alright then..." I laughed lightly and turned to look around some more.

[• Echo]

~ John~

I watch her for a moment, taking a drink as my eyes followed her gaze.

My eyes trailed over all the men and women untill finally my gaze rested back upon John. I smiled and then took a sip of my drink.

~ John~

I smirk.
"How's your drink," I ask, setting mine down.

[Guest]

~Nemui~
I stare at him for a moment, trying to read his expression. I took another sip and then said, "Good. Yours?"


[Ugh...I've got a headach...where does mom keep the damn tylenol! *goes through the cabinets*]

~ John~

I chuckle.
"It's the same as your's, so pretty good," I say, smiling.

I grin and then set it down after another sip.

[• Echo]

~ John~

I watch ehr.

I smile to him and then glance back at the billiards. They had finished their game.
One of the biggest of the men and the one with the most tattoos walked up to me.
I forced a smile as he took my hand and kissed it, eyeing John as he did. I pulled my hand away, and glanced around. The man then walked up to the bartender and asked for two shots of whiskey. ("One for me, and one for that sexy lady over there..." he had said.)
Now I really felt uneasy, but tried my best not to show it and took another sip from my beer.

~ John~

I watch the billiard come over, arching my eyebrows when he took her hadn and kissed it. I listened to him talk to the bartender, clenching my fist over my drink. I lift it to my lips and take a drink, eyeing the man as he got the two shots and came abck over.
"Hello," I say, staying calm somehow as I watch him.

[Guest]

I stare at the man as he hands me the shot. "Oh...er...no thanks."
The man frowned and then glanced at John. "Oh. I'm so sorry." he said gruffly and narrowed his eyes. "She yours?"

~ John~

I roll my eyes.
"She doesn't belong to anyone," I say, watching him. I'd had a bad past, had been in the army, and before that, I had been someone who had gotten in way too many fights.

I watch the mans eyes narrow even more, getting nervous. He gave some sort of a snort and handed me a paper, then walked off.
I stared after him for a moment and then threw the paper away quickly, not bothering to look at it.

I watch him walk away, arching my eyebrows. I shake my head slightly. I hated people like that, and it really got to me sometimes. I bite the inide of my lower lip, trying to push away the thoughts that reminded me that I myself had been like that once...

[Naah, it's alright. I don't have that long anyhow...school and all xD ]

I shake my head and take another sip from my drink, staring at John. I sat the drink back down and my lips broke into a smile.
"You like me."

I arch my left eyebrow.
"You think this... Why?" I ask calmly, taking a drink.
