I jumped out after Felene and hovered beside her, nodding at what she said.

Felene gave him a smile, running over towards the palm tree. "Kay then, count of 3." She dug her claws into the soft earth beneath her. She unfolded her wings and let them slowly extend. "1." She stretched out, yawning. "2." She crouched down, watching Shadow. "Threeeee!" She laughed, jumping forward. She flapped hard, lifting her up.

Shadow

I shot after Felene, my huge black wings popping out and flapping hard.

Felene knew flapping too hard would cause her to go too fast. She laughed in enjoyment, baring her teeth. She looked behind her and saw Shadow. "Ha!" She flew low to the ground, tucking her legs in. Her breathing became faster and faster as she continued to increase her already fast speed. She could see the ocean more clearly now, though it was farther then she would've thought. She continued to beat her wings, even if she knew that she couldn't maintain the speed to the finish line.

I smiled and increased my speed, quickly catching up to Felene then overtaking her. "Who's saying 'ha' now?" I yelled over my shoulder.

Felene's eyes flashed with anger as she saw his approaching figure. She flapped harder, becoming angrier. She came up by his hind legs, baring her teeth. A little nudge couldn't hurt, right? Unsheathing her blade, she crept up closer to him. She frowned as she saw the approaching coast line. Sheathing her blade back in, she flew away from him. Her wings felt tingly, and her chest hurt. She grimaced when she knew that she would smack into the water. Flapping back to try and close her speed, she quickly fell to the ground. Digging her tail in deep, she felt her blade be tugged uncomfortably.

Shadow

I angled myself towards Felene and landed beside her. "Oh my gosh! Are you okay?" I asked, looking over her for injuries.

(Lol. Okay.)

Felene showed hints of aggression as he came over, but shook it off. "Just fine." She muttered angrily as she slid her blade back in, imagining doing violent things towards Shdow. She guessed it might be the medicine she took. "You wanna go hunting or what?" She asked, still breathing fast.

"I guess. Since we're out." I replied, worried about Felene.

Felene huffed, giving a fake look of hurt. "What, you don't want to hunt with me?" She asked seriously. She snapped her tail in his face like a whip, causing the air to crackle a bit. "Just stay here then, I'll hunt by myself." She gave herself a running start, lifting herself off the ground and making a U-turn.

I quickly followed her and came up beside her. "That's not what I meant at all! I love hunting with you, Felene!" I exclaimed.

Felene gave a wide grin as she enjoyed his reaction. Shaking her head, she rose higher and higher. "I guess that you deserve a explanation for your valiant actions." She said sarcastically, scanning for any prey on the grasslands they were flying over. "I'm speeding up my healing, my wrist is fine now." She shook her wrist as an example. "But I was suffering some muscle damage, and I was getting some tears from flying too fast. I wasn't going to be able to make it the rest of the way with holes in me. So I took a little concoction that I made myself. Speeds up healing, though sent you this little gift you have now." She sneered at him, dipping lower as she surveyed hey prey. They were buffalo, and she could spot out some calves.

"Oh. Alright." I replied, surveying the buffalo.

"Tsk." Felene rolled her eyes as she dropped low enough to alert the buffalo. They quickly scattered, and she saw that some of them had young. Knowing that the mother probably weighed more then her, she flew out of striking range. She was just right beside a juvenile, probably male. She snapped her blade out and slowly drifted over to the male. Eventually she was in easy striking distance, and jumped on the animal.

I watched, flapping my wings to stay afloat.

Felene stabbed the blade deep within the stomach of the animal, causing it to roar in pain. She folded her wing in quickly and dug her claws into the tough hide of the animal. Using her small, but effective weight to tip the animal, she brought it tumbling to the ground. It's legs went stiff and it's neck straightened, and she sliced it's throat open. "Come and eat, Shadow." She yelled, but didn't look up.

I landed beside her and eyed the baby bison.

(Alright, you gotta put more then one sentence since I've been seeing them a lot now.)

"Well eat." She said as she ripped through the bison, eating fast. She filled quickly, blood smeared over her snout.

Shadow

I nodded and tore into the bison. Soon I lifted my head, having had my fill. I stepped away and stretched out my wings, looking up at the sky.

Felene watched him while he ate, numbly chewing the flavorless meat in her mouth. She licked the blood off her snout, but all that did was smear it some more. She let out a yawn, and a small bit of smoke came out; than she quickly opened her wings and went airborne. She was rising slowly, taking her time with her full stomach. She looked down and saw Shadow about to do the same. She felt surprisingly moody, and tired. "The medicine should be wearing off soon." She called to him, though her tail was moving back and forth like a snake.

I lifted easily into the air and flew beside her. "That's good." I replied, not sure what to say.
