And even if I have to, I'll bring the herd back to this area. But there is no way whatsoever that I am going to leave you, or you me, once again."

Jaybird was surprised at his desperation and accepted his warmth. She looked up and looked him in the eyes. "If that's what you wish to do. But if you don't want to, we'd probably be fine apart." Though she knew it wasn't true. They were meant to have each other. All those cruel words said, were all done with.

"Fine!?" Apollo's head bolted upright, and he shifted uncomfortably, blood still oozing out. "Fine!? NO! Its not fine! Its not fine to live, torchered every moment because the one being you shared your life, your food, you're protection, your love with is not there! Its not fine at all!" His words held desperation and pain.

Jaybird nodded. "I understand, Apollo." she whispered, pressing more against him. "I understand. No more living without one another. We'll be together forever. Bring them back here, and I promise there will always be time for you and me."

(I guess I'll have to make another stally to have a herd in Rose garden- I'm still planning on him getting sold though so this topic wont end.)

Apollo smiled softly, pressing his forhead against hers. His feelings for her were so strong. As a brother, of course. His neck arched boldly, and he was now able to stumble to his feet, letting the man change his bandage quickly, but still flinching and pulling away.

Jaybird smiled and looked at him, pressing against him. She got up, and snorted. "Would you like to go out for a night run under the stars?" she asked.

[Gonna be getting off at 12:30 probably won't be on for most of the day tommorow. Til night]

Apollo looked at the sky. It was still light, but the sun was starting to set. "I cant run." He said bitterly, and then the man slipped a halter over Jaybirds nose, and pulled her away from him.

Jaybird forgot having the hapiness in her body. She then sighed as the halter was put on her. "Bye..." she whispered and followed the man. Zoey pet Apollo. "Good boy." Slowly, she closed his stall and started to walk with her father and Jaybird.

Apollo's muscles tensed as Zoey touched him, and he whinned unhappily as he was closed into the small stall. He kicked the wall, resulting in a loud bang, but they didn't stop.

Jaybird looked at him, worried eyes. "Please sleep brother." she whispered, following them again. She didn't stop this time, letting the man lead the way to wherever they were going.

Hours later, Apollo woke up to see that his stall door was being opened, and a small figure slipped into the stall. Snorting warrily, the black stallion backed up, muscles taught and rigid, dark eyes watching the figure aproach.

Jaybird was put in her own stall, she fell asleep in the stall, sweet dreams of her brother filled her mind. Racing through the fields after his leg has been healed. She imagined him tommorow. She couldn't wait!

Zoey stepped into the stall and closed it slowly walking to the stallion and slowly approached him. "D-did I awake you?" she asked, holding a fresh apple. "Sorry if I did, but I was hear to speak to you."

Apollo could feel his stomach growling in hunger, but he only eyed the shiny apple in her hand. Too wary to eat it, all he did was toss his head ajitatidly, though he wouldn't hurt her.

Zoey lied the apple down steadily in front of him, looking up and petting his muzzle softly, hoping not or him to get wild. "I don't want them to send you away. I don't know how, but you seem to make Jaybird happy, like a friend and she doesn't have many of those. I'm just family. My dad's being a jerk, and won't let us keep you." she said. "I just want Jaybird to be happy and you came into her life and did."

Apollo lowered his large, magnificent head to the ground, sniffing at the apple a few times, warrily watching her to see if she would come at him, but she didn't he lipped the apple closer to him, then bit down on it, crunching it in half and swallowing, consuming the apple within a few seconds.

Zoey sighed again. "I would just like to tell you best wishes, and I hope you find a good life with you new owner." she got up and looked at him, getting out of the stall and closing it behind her, looking back once more before walking out the stall

Apollo snorted, nipping dejectadly at her hair as she left, then sulking in the back of her stall. Yerning company, he whinned loudly as he heard her footsteps start to fade away. He poked his head over the stall door and pawed the wooden door.

Zoey looked back, surprised that he wanted her to stay. Opening the stall door once again. She started to pet him softly, and lie down. She didn't mind sleeping in the stall. She did it with Jaybird every once in a while, curled up in her nice coat like a pillow.

Though Apollo didn't seem to mind Zoey, he still didn't like her touching him, thus he lie down in the back corner away from her. Sighing heavillly, he rested his mighty head on his front legs.

Zoey smiled, and propped herself against the hay. She cleared her throat. "My mother always used to sing me a beautiful song if I had any trouble sleeping." she murmured quietly. She looked at her hands. "She died... saving a horse from getting shot. She was honored by the horse, and many others. The man who shot her got tookn away when I was 5." she sighed. "But you probably want to hear the song... it's latin." Clearing her throat, she began to sing:

Apollo's ears were upright, pricked to hear the sound of the humans voice. He contentedly sighed, his head bobbing slightly as she sang, the ends of his long mane resting on the stall floor.

Zoey yawned and rested her head on a hay pillow, seeing he'd probably not want her laying on him. "I miss my mom so much." she said before closing her eyes and going to sleep.

Apollo whickered his agreement, tossing his head into the air, then seeing she was asleep and quieting down slightly, watching the human form with dark unreadable eyes.
