Jaybird shook her head, whimpering silently: "I can't be without you... but, I also can't leave them behind. I can't trust those mares. They already took most of the heart you gave to me from you. So, I found someone else so what? And I'm same here: I can't leave them." her eyes started to film again and shattering, burrying her face in his coat.

[Spritz]

"No Jaybird. You dont understand that this is what I was meant to do. Without me, they have nothing. Without me, they have no protection. How would you like to be forced and torchered by a strange stallion?" Apollo asked, eyes glittering slightly. "Dont cry. My heart is just as big, even bigger for you. And I'll always want you by my side. I'll always miss you, and I'll always wish that you had never left, that this doesent, didn't have to happen Jaybird. But right now it seems that I have my life, and you have yours. And I cant do anything to change it."

Jaybird lifted her head and looked at him. "Those mares could handle themselves and if you can't see that then... then... I don't know what your thinking. My heart wasn't big enough even to fit you in anymore but here, you came to my life and shattered it again. We were meant to stay together and it wasn't to start out with a herd."

[Spritz]

Apollo shook his head, then let it fall back down onto the stall floor, closing his eyes tiredly. "You dont know that Jaybird. You dont know thier stories, and you dont care to know either. All I can say is that I wish we could be together, but I have a whole herd to take care of. And that herd, that family comes before what I want."

Jaybird sighed and shook her head. "You don't understand. Your not the only good wild stallion in this world. You can be replaced for them, you can't be replaced by me..." she whispered.

[Spritz]

Apollo didn't open his eyes. He didn't stir. "No. I'm not just thier protecter. I'm thier friend. I'm thier leader." He said, his voice sounding tired and sad. He couldn't change his mind. He couldn't abandon his herd and come live with the humans. He didn't trust the humans anyway.

Jaybird shook her head whimpered softly she dug her head deeper and sobbed sadly and sighed. "It'll take 2 days probably." she whispered silently. She started to sing softly... The song was beautiful, going with their problem;

"Probably." He whispered hoarsly, then nuzzled her softly. "Dont worry my dear. I'll come to see you as much as I can. But I cant leave. Not now."
He heaved himself to his belly, wincing as pressure pressed down on his injured leg.
"I love you. Dont you ever forget that!"

Jaybird swallowed and shook her head and got up. "I'll- I'll let you rest." she whispered and walked away, looking back at him before leaving, hating to.

Apollo watched her go, sighing heavily and resting his muzzle on the stall floor. He knew it was a mistake to come here. Now all of his feelings were stirred up, and he had to loose her one. more. time. He didn't know if he could do it. But now he felt betrayed and unloved by her. Trading him, her only family in for a mere human who pet her and gave her treats. Hadn't all of his fights, his sleepless nights, his worry, his fear, his anxiety about keeping her safe meant ANYTHING to her? He remembered when he had fought off the pack of wolves, resulting in him almost dying, just to save his little sister.

Jaybird sighed and went outside, sleeping outside in the grass. She couldn't believe she protected him all these years, thinking it was just and her. He had left his only family member just to go with mares that he called family, foolish mares? Didn't he know she would do anything to go back to the days they played and the nights they were side by side watching stars? She would die for him, she would do anything for it to be just him and her; didn't he see that going to some stuck-up mares will make him have less time for her?

[Spritz]

Apollo whinned in distress, stumbling to his feet, but falling heavilly as his foot seared with pain. Kicking the wall in harsh, burning anger, he created a loud rucus and the man came bowling into the barn. Apollo pinned his ears and squeeled, threatening to bite him, to leave him alone! Why did Jaybird stay! Why! WHY WHY WHY! Apollo neighed in sheer torment, thrashing in the stall wildly, his coat shining with sweat, his long black mane whipping out behind him, as he tore through the stall. He ignored the harsh, burning pain in his leg and continued his rant, eyes wild with anger, frustration, fear, and anxiety, hurt and pain searing through him.

Jaybird heard rucus and got up whinnying. She walked into the barn doors, seeing her brother she looked at him. "Stop! Stop!" she said opening the stall doors to let him loose. "Calm brother..."

[Spritz]

"No! No!" Apollo screamed in anger, tears flooding down his cheeks, then crumpled to the ground, his trembling legs giving way benieth him. He fell heavilly onto his side, his head falling roughly onto the ground, mane and tail lying bedraggled behind him. There was no trace of the cool, confident, strong stallion. Only one that was in pain, anger, and torment. His sides heaved heavily, and his leg was bleeding profusley, the warm red liquid seeping through the bandage and running down his leg.

Jaybird shook her head. "I'm right here. What's wrong? Did a rat get into the hay?" she asked, licking the blood off, not caring of the tangy taste.

[Spritz]

"No, a Rat did not get into the hay!" He said bitterly, lying on the ground, sides heaving, exausted. "It's you Jaybird. You're doing this to me!" He shook his head, eyes shedding warm teardrops. "I cant help myself! Seeing, Loosing my sister for the second time! Being betrayed and forgotten because of a human! Not even wanted because I have a herd!" His words carried the air of torment and pain.

Jaybird was hurt even more but his words and looked at him. "I would really want to go back, truthfully Apollo, I would." she said softly. "But I have a girl who loves me, and she needs me like those mares need you. I am not going to cry, or beg you to have you stay anymore. Because I know it's not going to change you mind. You're free." she whispered softly.

[Spritz]

Apollo shook his head. "She may need you, but you're own brother, you're own flesh and blood need you more." His ears pricked up as he heard the male talking.
"I've already found a buyer Zoe.(is that her name?) He'll be leaving soon."
At that, Apollo turned a deadly gaze onto his sister. "Now you see."

Jaybird shook her head and looked at them, growling quietly. She turned back to him. "I'll reverse that question back to you." she said quietly. "I'm your family, your own flesh and blood and those mares need you." she said. She sighed. "In two days is probably with the action will come. In two days, that's when you'll leave." she felt her heart crack all over again.

[Spritz]

"No Jaybird. Those mares are our species. Those mares have a reason for needing me. And those mares seem to apreciate me alot more than you do!" The stallion thrust his head back onto the ground, closing his eyes and letting his mind drift back home, back to the roses. Back to the ones that loved and apreciated him.

Jaybird shook her head. "I do love you, I do appreciate you more than them." she whimpered, slightly hurt. Her eyes filmed up again but she held them back. She refused to cry. She looked at him. "I never fogot you. It took met this year we've been apart to create this:" she cleared her throat and started to say the poem.

"Its not true." Apollo muttered. "None of it's true. If you truley loved me more than you're little human, it would be obvious. But Jaybird, I'm having a hard time seeing it at all."
Apollo looked deep into her eyes. "I'm not gone forever. I'll always be there. I'll always be praying, hoping, waiting for you to come back. Always."

Jaybird shook her head. "But I didn't know that..." she whispered silently. "I thought you'd come after me, reasurring it'd be alright but you left me." she said, remembring looking down the meadow and seeing if she'll see her brother appear. "But you didn't. No simple goodbye. I thought you hated me."

[Spritz]

"It was you're desision to make, not mine. It was you're choice to leave. And if you expected me to come, you were unsure about you're desision. I didn't come after you because I knew it was futle." He spoke softly, looking into her eyes, trying to sort out the mess of emotions in his head.

Jaybird looked away and sighed. "I don't have anything to say anymore in almost a day, it's over. We'll be split." she whispered and lifted herself up shakily but then collapsed. "There are gonna be no goodbies wherever we are, you'll always be with me."
