Rachel listened to his quiet voice, and wondered about where he lived before he lived in this small town. She walked with him, pushing her hands into her back pockets. Her white blouse fluttered slightly in the breeze. "Well I moved to the U.S. a few years ago.. I lived in L.A. for a few years, then my mom moved me here" She said softly, as though raising her voice would ruin the beautiful, quiet evening. Rachel didn't look up and over at him, but rather at the ground so she didn't trip.

Xavier simply nodded in reply and let the silence wash over them for a few more moments, "Australia, right? Where you previously lived," he said lightly, glancing over at her. A cold wind blew by and Xavier gave a low sigh. He looked down at Rachel. "Cold?" he asked her, cocking his head to the side in question..

(sorry, was learning to cook fired rice xD)

Rachel nodded softly "Yea, sometimes I miss it.. But other times I like the scenery here in the states. Its so diverse" She said with a smile. The cool breeze ran its fingers through her hair and lifted her blouse slightly to show her flat stomach. Tugging the shirt down quickly she shivered. He asked her if she was cold, and she glanced up at him. "A little" She admitted, but simply shrugged it off.

Xavier heard her answer and he shrugged out of the jacket Koiya had given him back from last time he was over and had left it there. He draped it over her shoulders lightly and gave a soft smile. "Hope that helps," he said before stepping to the side slightly and glancing over at her. He had noticed when her shirt lifted slightly, but it didn't really bother him all that much. Shoving his hands back into his pockets, Xavier looked ahead and kept walking.

Rachel shook her head in protest when he took off his jacket, but it was warm and she couldn't argue once it was over her. She pulled it closer around her and she smiled over at him. "Thanks" She said quietly, and she looked down. Her cheeks were a light pink, she could tell by their warmth. She hoped the street lights wouldn't be enough for him to notice. "Why do you hang out with them?" She asked, her eyes still trailing the sidewalk.

Xavier had noticed her blush, however he said nothing about it. What was the point of potentially making her even more embarrassed? Then he heard her question and Xavier looked forward. He knew who she meant. The boys. Xavier hesitated before he glanced over at her. "Dunno. Just thought they could've taken my mind off of some things..." he paused for a moment and looked ahead, "then they just naturually became my friends," he explained honestly. "Why?" he asked quietly.

Xavier's words echoed in Rachel's mind, and she couldn't stop thinking about what those things may have been. "You just... I don't know... Seem different" She said with a light shrug. A breeze pulled at her coat and she pulled it closer. She felt bad for having it on, and she glanced over at him. "Are you sure you don't want this?" She asked him, frowning slightly. Her straw colored hair pulling across her freckled cheeks. She swiped it behind her ear with a hand and then replaced it inside the shield of the jacket.

Xavier shrugged slightly at what Rachel had said. "We're all different, really," he said quietly. It as like what Blake had said. Sure, he and Xavier were completely different, but they were the closest of the group. Then she commented about the jacket and he shook his head, "keep it," he said, pausing, "I don't need it," he said with a light shrug.

Rachel sighed softly, knowing that Blake had said the same thing. She pushed her arms out into the sleeves and wrapped herself more comfortably in the jacket. It smelled faintly like cologne. "Where did you live before you moved here?" She asked, then noticed she was probably being nosy again. She kicked a rock absently and watched it dance down the sidewalk. "Sorry... You don't have to answer that" She said quietly.

Xavier listened as Rachel asked where he had lived before she said he didn't have to answer. Minutes of silence pased between them before he sighed. "Spain," he replied shortly, glancing over at her. Blake knew about that much of him, but not much more. Running a hand though his dark hair again, Xavier looked ahead. He idly wondered why it was that she wanted to know about him, but let the thoughts slip away shortly after.

Rachel let the silence pass, but wished he'd reply. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, he answered. A smile spread across her lips and she glanced up at him. "I hear it's beautiful there" She said softly, knowing that he was holding back now. She decided she would let things rest for a while. You don't go running on a sore leg. Rachel felt herself holding a breath, and released it slowly. Her eyes wandering out into the now dark alleyways.

Xavier gave a soft smile at her words and nodded. It was a beautiful place. Atleast, it was. He didn't know what it was like at this time. "Where's your house?" Xavier asked a few more minutes of silence passed between them. It couldn't be too far away by now. He glanced around the street before he rested his gaze up the street, wondering if her house was in this treet or a different one somewhere else.

Rachel nodded towards the end of the street. "It's just over there, you can go back if you want" She said, and looked over at him. Remembering the warm jacket, she slipped out of it carefully and passed it over to him. She almost wished she lived further away, but that would be ridiculous. She was already almost a mile or two away from the party.

Xavier shook his head, "keep it," he said, gently pushing it back towards her. Once they were at her front door, Xavier nodded, "good night, Rachel," he said before he turned, shoved his hands in his pockets again and alked off into the night.

Rachel raised an eyebrow, but didn't argue. She pulled the warmth of the jacket back around her and stepped up her concrete steps. Turning around, she offered a small smile. "Night, oh, and do you need help in the morning?" She asked, brushing aside another strand of her blond hair.

Xavier paused mid step and glanced back at her, "if you want to, sure," he replied with a small smile before he walked back to Koiya's. May as well go there. Otherwise they'd be ringing at 6 am until he woke up and came over. Once he got back, he was greeted by the guys who were asking where he went. Blake was standing to the side, head cocked to the side curiously. "I just walked Rachel home," he said before he went to a spare room which hadn't been used that night and almost fell asleep instantly. Shortly after, everyone else went to bed.

Blake woke up at 5 am and he stretched and got out of bed. Stepping outside, he yawned. He looked at the mess and sighed. Certainly, everyone else except Xavier was there. "Sleeping?" Blake asked and Koiya grinned, "like a baby," he replied and Blake shrugged. "Let him sleep for now. Let's start," he said and the group got to work.

Rachel watched him walk away for a moment, then turned around and stepped inside. She turned around and carefully shut the door behind her. The latch seemed to echo in the silent house. Wincing at the sound, Rachel slipped off her shoes and tiptoed up to her room. She wanted a bath, but assumed it would wake her mom. The white blouse and jeans were tossed to the side of Rachel's roomed, waiting for the wash. The sheets were relieving and cool against Rachel's skin, and she fell asleep in a matter of minutes.

The morning sun peeked inside Rachel's room, casting its rays directly into her eyes. She stirred, then sat up cross legged. A frown tugged at her lips as she rubbed her eyes, forgetting about her eyeliner. Rachel pulled her hair back into a bun and wandered over to her bathroom. Locking the door behind her, Rachel slipped out of her undergarments as she started the bath. She glanced in the mirror, and laughed quietly. The sight nearly frightening, she teased herself. She removed her makeup and pulled her hair out of the band before she slid into the warm water.

Once it reached 7, Koiya lost his patience and stormed into where Xavier was sleeping. He had a cold bottle of water in his hand. Standing over the sleeping man, Koiya poured to water on the man's neck adn face. Xavier gasped and sat up straight, groaning and wiping the water from him. "Damn you, Koiya," he grumbled, getting out of the beda dn changing his shirt. Throwing the wet fabric at Koiya, Xavider left the room and started helping out with the cleaning. "Oh! You're up, sleeping beauty!" Blake joked, coming up and slinging and arm around his shoulders.

Rachel rested her head back on the white rim of the tub, and after a few seconds she changed. Her long scaly tail stretched past the tub, and she lifted it in a huff. She almost would rather take a bath without turning into a fish freak. The water was topped with a layer of lavender scented bubbles, and the mixture of scent and warmth from the water both calmed her and woke her up. She stretched her shoulders and ran some shampoo through her hair. Once finished, she slid out of the water and dried off.
She dressed in a pair of shorts and a sweater fabric tee shirt. It wasn't anything special, and she didn't mind that it was a little casual. She ran a comb through her unruly hair before she pulled it back into a bun and brushed down her bangs. They weren't cooperating, but she ignored them. Jogging down the stairs, her stomach growled at the scent of bacon and eggs. Her mom smiled up at her "Get home late?" She asked, and Rachel shrugged. "Yea, Louis and I hung out a bit but I was in bed by 10:30" She lied, but it was convincing. She slid into her seat and gratefully took a fork-full of scrambled eggs into her mouth.

Everything was cleaned by 8 and the guys all leaned on a wall, near eachother and stood there in silence. Xavier adn Blake both sighed and then looked at eachother. "We're going out," Blake stated, slinging an arm around Xavier's shoulders and leading him out the door. "We'll catch breakfast somewhere," Blake said back to the rest of the group. They made their way down the street, going to a cafe and getting some waffles for breakfast.

Rachel's mom sat down beside her and took a bite of her bacon. "When are you going to bring him over here, anyway?" She asked, grinning before she took a drink of her orange juice. Rachel's nose wrinkled in disgust. "No mom, he's not that kind of friend!" Rachel practically squealed, and her mom laughed. "Fine, fine... Whatever" She said, and rolled her eyes. Rachel sighed and finished her food before she took a straw and drank her juice. "I'll catch you later, mom" She said as she rushed out the door.

"Done?" Blake asked as Xavier put his fork down and nodded in reply. They paid and left the cafe and made their way down the streets. Their hands shoved into their pockets, unknowingly walking in sync. They glanced at eachother and gave a light grin to one another. "Any plans for today?" Blake asked, receiving a shake of a head in response. "Wanna hang with me?" he asked and Xavier shrugged. "well fine, be like that," Blake grumbled laughing, he shoved Xavier to the side. He stumbled and then looked at Blake. The blue eyed blonde stepped over the brown eyed blonde and stuck him in a head lock and laughed. "Too bad, you're stuck with me," Blake chuckled.

Rachel let out a long breath and pulled her hair out of the bun. She tossed the sand colored strands around her shoulders and snapped the hair tie onto her wrist. Rachel looked down at the cracked sidewalk and jumped around it like a little kid, finding a way to pass time. She smiled and then glanced up. She stopped, seeing Xavier and Blake. Her eyes darted about, and she and moved close to the buildings on her right. She kept her eyes down and pretended like she hadn't seen the two.

They almost walked right past her. However, then they turned their heads and looked at her with a smile. "Oh, hey Rachel!" Blake said joyously, "fancy seeing you here," he grinned and let Xavier go. He straightened himself out, tugging at the hem of his shirt. "Hey Rachel," Xavier said quietly, looking at the girl. Blake glanced between th two of them and then rested his hands behind his head with a grin. "So what brings you this way?" he asked her, settling his gaze on Rachel.

Rachel flinched slightly when Blake called out to her, and she turned around slowly. "Oh, hey" She said, and smiled lightly. She heard Xavier, and offered him a smile. "Hey" She said. Rachel turned and looked back to Blake. "Yea, fancy seeing you here on a public sidewalk" She teased lightly, and pushed her hands into her back pockets. "Anyway, what are you up to?" She said, glancing over at Xavier then back at Blake.
