Blake chuckled at her words. "And what? Walk? Like hell, Rach. ou stay here. They'll come back soon enough," he said looking down at her with a smile.

Rachel hadn't thought about that, and she laughed at her stupidity. She felt her cheeks warm and looked at the door so he wouldn't see. "Yea... That was a stupid suggestion.." She said with a snort before she looked back at him. Her cheeks had faded to a light pink, and she grinned softly. She wasn't crushing on him... Or Xavier for that matter. She just felt different around them, and it made her sort of nervous. Rachel knew she liked them, but she wouldn't agree to go out with them or anything... Would she?

Blake laughed lightly at her words and then stood up and took his coffee cp to the kitchen sink, putting it inside. Justas he did so, Xavier and Claretta came through te door. He poked his head out the kitchen and grinned. "hey guys," he said with a big smile. Claretta smiled wide and went over to him, enveloping him in another hug. "Blakey-boy!" she said with a soft laugh as Blake grumbled under his breath. She then glanced at him and then at Rachel."No funny business happened in my house whilst we were gone, now did there?" she asked with a smirk as Xavier came over to sit next to Rachel again.

Rachel glanced up as the door clicked, then opened. Claretta and Xavier walked in the room, and she smiled small. Her smile grew into a small laugh at the disgruntled Blake. Her eyes turned back to Claretta when she addressed her, and she shook her head. Her cheeks reddening slightly. She turned and looked at Xavier as he sat down. She smiled at him, and felt like she should say something. Not wanting to make anything worse, or better yet, not wanting to look like a fool, she kept her mouth shut. Rachel turned back and looked at Claretta with a friendly smile.

Claretta let go of Blake and nodded. "Okay, I trust you, Rachel. Now. If Blakey-boy here had ssaid that, I would've thought something happened," she said with a grin and Blake gave a heavy sigh before going to sit on the opposite sideof Rachel. "Sorry.." both Blake and Xavier muttered. Xavier, for leaving, Blake for Claretta. They watched as the tall woman went and sat down, stretching her arms high above her head.

Rachel grinned at her comment, finding it rather entertaining. She didn't respond, once again. Should she have? She turned her attention to the design on the table in front of them, thinking about whether she should be more casual or not. She looked over at the two as they apologized and she shook her head. "Don't worry about it" She said quietly with a shrug, and then looked over at Claretta. Rachel couldn't help a small giggle at her stretch.

Blake leaned back with a sigh as Clarettas arms came to his sides again. The woman's smile stretched wide as she looked at them. "Oh yeah, Blake. Your mother rang me yesterday and guess what," she said, pausing. Blake sat up straighter, leaning forward, eyes focused on the woman. "Yeah?" he asked her, waiting almost impatiently. Claretta grinned, "She's having a boy. You're going to be a big brother!" she practically squealed. Blake blinked in surprise, staring at her before he cleare his throat. "Wait. My Mum is having a baby? Since when?" he asked, cocking his head to the side, confused. "Since about 8 months ago. She's having him next month," Claretta said. "Huh." Blake merely said, sitting back again, processing what he had just heard.
Xavier looked at Rachel and grinned. "Blake's parents have been in Asia for about 2 years now. He's not home that often, so he never speaks to them. So they ring Claretta to tel her things to tell him, cause they don't have his mobile number," he explained quietly before falling int silence again.

Rachel leaned forward and rested her arms on her knees as the woman spoke. She assumed it was a normal conversation about his mom, but she was surprised when Blake didn't even know his mom was pregnant. Rachel looked up at Claretta, then glanced at Blake in confusion. Xavier's soft voice sounded behind her, and she turned to look at him. Rachel struggled to hear him, but nodded after he was finished. "That's strange, why don't they just ask Claretta to get it for them?" She asked, her voice was quiet as Blake and Claretta continued their conversation behind her.

Xavier gave a light shake of it head, "They know that Blake has his personal life and don't want to bother him with calls. Also, Blake has asked Claretta not to tell them that he wants to see them again, as he doesn't want them to fly from Asia, from work, just to see him. He and his family are both very considerate people," he said lightly with a smile, glancing at Blake and claretta as they spoke to one another.

Rachel didn't quite understand, but she nodded. His smile was a rare sight, and she smiled back. Rachel turned back to the two, trying to sort out Xavier's explanation. She just couldn't grasp these two guys. All along, she thought guys were the simplest creatures on earth. Now, she was definitely changing her mind. Rachel didn't like that she didn't get them. What had she gotten herself into?

Xavier sat back once she had turned her attention away from him and he closed his eyes. Blake grinned, "did they say if they were coming back at all?" he asked. Caretta paused and then shook her head. "No, they didn't say anything about coming to visit, but i'm sure they will soon enough, to show you your new brother," she said with a hopeul smile. Blake sighed and then looked at the time. 2pm. "Anyway, we should probably head back. Thank you for having us, Claretta," he said and he and Xavier stood up. Clareta shook her head. "No, it was my pleasure. Next time, bring Rachel again. I'd like to get to know her better," she said, bringing all three into a hug. Blake and Xavier smiled and then went out the front door and into the car.
Once Rachel had said her goodbyes and got into the cat, Blake started the car and drov off, beeping the horn once as Clareta waved from her door.

Rachel glanced at the clock as he said they should be going, and her slender eyebrows raised. Wow, they'd been here a while. She didn't avoid the hug, and laughed softly at her comment. The woman's grip was strong and warm, almost like a mother's. "It was nice meeting you" Rachel said with a large smile. She waved, then jogged to catch up with the guys. Her flip flops slapping her heels loudly. Rachel climbed into the bag of the car and smiled at the two. "She's nice" Rachel said, unsure of what else to say. She rubbed her hands across her jeans, and glanced up at the apartments. She wondered for a moment why they all lived so far away, but she didn't ask.

"Yeah, she is,"Both Xavier and Blake said at once.Blake paused to think and then groaned, "but she could be even nicer if she stopped calling me Blakey-boy. I mean, seriously!" he grumbled and Xavier chuckled. Blake glared at the man and then glanced back at Rachel then back at the road. "Did you want to come next time we go?" he asked her.

Rachel giggled at his comment, and rolled her eyes. "You're just mad cuz it ruins your 'tough guy' facade" She said with a teasing tone and sat back against the leather seats. Her blue eyes watching as Blake and Xavier exchanged a glance. She shrugged at his next question. "Sure... I mean, I don't want to be a bother or anything..." She said, making the second part sound more important than the first. Rachel felt sort of burdensome today, but that might've been because she knew absolutely nothing about the guys before she came.

Blake frowned at her comment and shook her head. "No way! That's so not it!" he defended and Xavier grinned. Then she spoke again and he shrugged, "cool, so you're coming next time," he replied. Who wouldn't give a reaction to the second part, however. There was no way that she'd a burden. He had someone to talk to when Claretta and Xavier left, so that was a major bonus.

Rachel laughed at his defensive tone and she smiled big. His next comment made her shrug. "Alright" She said with a small laugh. Her eyes lingered over the two. They could be brothers. Not in looks, of course. Just, the way that they got along and how they all treated each other like family. It was a unique bond, one that Rachel had never known. She let out a small sigh and turned her head to watch the trees as they blurred passed.

Xavier had heard rachel's sighed and he turned in his seat to study her for a moment. Even to him, she was pretty. Whether she knew it or not. He cocked his head to the side nd gave a soft smile. "What's wrong?" he asked her, watching and waiting to see what she would do or say.

Rachel nearly jumped at Xavier's voice and she snapped out of her own thoughts. She looked at him for a moment, then smiled and shook her head. "Nothing, why?" She said, her bangs blowing over her freckled cheeks. She glared up at them, then brushed them out of her face. Her hair was definitely the most annoying thing ever. She pulled it over to one shoulder and back into his gorgeous, golden eyes.

Xavier gave a light shrug and a shake of his head. "I just heard you sigh, is al. It kind of sounded like you were upset or disappointed about something," he replied. After going to claretta's Xavier was usually a fair bit more talkative then usual, and today was no exception to that. However, he was still rather quiet.

Rachel was relieved that he was talking to her now, even if it was about her seeming upset. She shook her head softly. "No nothings wrong. I just think you three are so close... You're lucky" She said the last bit softer, but it was still audible.

Xavier smiled at her words. "I guess so. If you can imagine it, before Blake came into our lives, Claretta and I always fought. We don't anymore, since he came along with his loud, obnoxious mouth," he said with a light chuckle as Blake turned slightly to glare at the pair.

Rachel was surprised to hear that they used to fight. "You and Claretta? No way!" She said with a small laugh, then looked over at Blake as he glared at them. She stuck out her tongue, then turned back to Xavier. His hair looked as though it was velvet, but she didn't test that theory. She grinned slightly at the two, and shook her head. "That's hard to believe" She said with a smile and leaned back against the seat. Her short sleeve sweater loose around her neck and shoulders.

Xavier almost laughed at her reastion. "It's true. Whenever we saw eachother, we'd always be at eachother's throats," he replied with a grin. "He's speaking the truth," Blake said, "When I firsst met them, they were constantly fighting. Both physical and verbal. It was rather amusing, actually," he aid with a slight laugh and Xavier glanced over at him and chuckled. "But then Blake steped in between us and literally got hit by both of us. He went nuts. Since then, we've really been to afraid to argue," Xavier said with a light laugh.

Rachel couldn't help laughing about the entire story. She shook her head, still grinning. "I never would've guessed" She said, her eyes seeming to dance with the comic appearance of Xavier and Claretta fighting, then Blake going crazy. She then thought of something, and wondered why Blake was always the one to break up fights. She though it was too personal a question to ask right now, so she just smiled and looked back at Xavier. "That's so weird... Why were you fighting? Just sibling rivalry?" She asked.

Xavier glanced back at Blake and grinned, "yeah, I guess you could call it that," he replied. Which was actually a complete lie. They had never argued and fought just because of sibling rivalry. It was more, but Blake didn't even know what had been behind their arguements. Xavier wasn't really willing to explain, either. Blake glanced at Xavier and gave a light shake of his head before chuckling. "What about you? Do you have any siblings of your own?" Blake asked her, looking at her for a short moment.
