Re: Never Alone. (Shiori)
Leah grinned when he answered and almost clapped. She felt very childish at the moment. Smiling to herself, Leah knew her family would be in the living room for at least two more hours, so that gave her some time to let Eric in and sneak him up to her room. She completely forgot about changing out of her pajamas and into real clothes.
Yay! All right, come here: { address here }. I'll see you in a few minutes?

Re: Never Alone. (Shiori)
Eric didn't care about changing his clothes. Wearing all black, with his hair slightly tousled and rather messy, he slipped on a pair of black converse hightops, and quickly made his way to the window. He had done this many times. Jabbing his phone into his pocket, he shimmied down the side of the house, using the window sills for support, then fell 10 feet onto the ground, wincing slightly.
He got up and made his way to the front of his house, racing down the driveway and quickly making his way down the sidewalk.
Yeah.

Re: Never Alone. (Shiori)
Leah clapped her hands and quietly put her phone down, tiptoeing out of her room and unlocking the door, going down the stairs. She looked in the family room to see six heads turned away from her, all facing the TV and watching some stupid Addams Family show. Leah grimaced and went to the door, looking out the long windows that lined the sides of the door to see Eric's familiar face. Hopefully he wouldn't mind being dragged upstairs to her room without much notice. It wasn't messy or anything, and nowhere close to being girly, but sometimes told her Eric hadn't planned on staying long.
Leah, however, seemed to be smarter than he gave her credit for.

Re: Never Alone. (Shiori)
It was dark, and rather cold and miserable, despite the shining stars overhead. Eric's converse clad feet slapped onto the ground, sometimes spraying himself with puddles, but it didn't matter. His hands were shoved into his large black sweatshirt's pockets, and his head was lowered. He knew where the house was. He wasn't completley aimless when he walked. Glancing upwards, he saw the glowing lights of the house come into sight, and a figure standing at the door, seeming to be looking out at the sidewalk. Figuring it was Leah, Eric raised a hand in a slight wave, then shoved it back into his pocket as he made his way up the drive.

Re: Never Alone. (Shiori)
Leah smiled when she saw Eric's figure make his way up the driveway. She turned her head to look into the living room once more when her family laughed rather loudly, all six heads bobbing up and down in joyous laughter. Leah frowned momentarily and turned back to the door, opening it as quietly as she could and standing in the doorway. She only realized how cold it was outside when her mostly exposed skin under her cami and short-shorts began to prickle with goosebumps. She shivered and stepped into the hallway, beckoning Eric in faster with a quick wave of her hand.

Re: Never Alone. (Shiori)
Eric couldn't help but let a bemused smile on his face as he saw her, and cocked his head, shaking it softly as he stepped into the house. God, she was damn attractive, but he made sure to keep his eyes on her face, instead of her low cut shirt, and short shorts.
"Hey Leah." Eric whispered, not wanting to disturb the families 'Adams Family' time. He wondered how so many people could just watch, and not notice what was going on around them. "Does anyone know I was coming?"

Re: Never Alone. (Shiori)
Leah rubbed her arms vigorously before closing the door behind her and smiling, "Hey," She whispered, passing another glance into the living room. Her smile became rather lopsided at his next question, though, and she nodded to the family on the couch, "Do you think? Nah, I didn't tell 'em. Even if I had, they wouldn't have listened." Leah frowned for a moment then said, "Come on, we can go up to my room." Leah locked the front door and silently put the key down on a table beside the door and, still rather cold, her toes feeling numb, climbed up the winding stairs.

Eric managed a half shrug, half smile, and shook his head, his lips parted slightly. Watching as she made her way up the stairs, he easily followed, silently manuvering up the staircase before her family saw the stranger in the house. They would probably embarrass both of them anyway, and Eric wasn't in the mood for that. There was only a certain amount of stuff he could take in one day, before he would snap. And he didn't want to do that. Usually, that meant getting angry at someone. Following quickly and with ease, they reached the top of the staircase, and Eric looked around, before touching Leah on the shoulder gently.
"I cant stay long.." He knew he could, but didn't want to intrude.

Re: Never Alone. (Shiori)
Leah made her way into her bedroom and ushered him in before closing the door behind them, facing it for a moment and listening carefully before nodding and hopping onto her bed and sitting cross-legged. "You can, too," Leah said in a friendly manner, though she wasn't really sure how long he could stay. But being Leah, she was planning on making him stay the night, even if he slept in her bed and she slept on the beanbag couch. Leah wasn't stupid; in fact, she'd devised a whole plan to get him to stay here the night. Grinning to herself, she commented lightheartedly, "I'm glad you came." She smiled at him, pushing some of her wavy hair behind one ear.

"No," Eric started, then rolled his eyes and just shook his head. "Whatever.." He trailed off, then shrugged. "You didn't really give me much choice, eh?" He laughed slightly, lowering his eyes and standing in the room, not sure of what to do, or to say. It was in these circumstances that he felt extremley awkward. He wasn't a gem with girls, and didn't really know how to act around them.
He hadn't had much luck understanding them either. But pushing those facts to the side, he managed one of his rare, lopsided grins, and shrugged. "So, what's up?"

Re: Never Alone. (Shiori)
Leah pouted momentarily, "You are so lying," then she nodded hesitantly towards the beanbag couch. "You can sit there, if you'd l-like." Leah pushed thoughts of Micah out of her mind, which was a lot easier when she felt her face heat up at his grin. It was amazing how one tiny smile could make her feel like she had butterflies in her stomach. Laughing slightly, "I don't think you had a choice, either." Leah rolled back and swung her legs over the side of the bed, staring out at the sky. "Well, not much. Not as lonely now that you're here." Leah blushed very slightly, only a rosy color on her cheeks, as she turned her neck to look at him again. She suddenly realized how awkward it was bringing him up to her room in what she was wearing, with the door closed. She felt her face heat up like crazy and she dropped her gaze.

"Lying?" Eric faked a pout. "My gosh." He managed a tired smile, and inhaled deeply, watching Leah with intent eyes. She gestured to the beanbag couch, and he shrugged, shaking his head. "I'm alright. I was sitting far to much before." He watched as a slight pink blush flushed her cheeks, and he looked down.
"I'm always lonley. So I guess socializing could do me some good." He nodded, as if to agree with himself, and raised his head again. He noticed her face had gotten redder, and hoped he hadn't caused it.

Re: Never Alone. (Shiori)
Leah, after a moment of calming herself down, lay back on the bed and stared up at the ceiling. "I guess. I don't really socialize either. Guess it's lucky we found each other, huh?" Leah asked, craning her neck to the side to get a better look at him. The way the moonlight caught his features almost made her heart skip a beat. But seriously, she had only just met him? Why the heck was she being so weird? Leah frowned inwardly and let out a deep sigh, suddenly feeling rather drowsy. But she would stay up long enough to make sure Eric stayed here instead of going home to an abusive house.

Re: Never Alone. (Shiori)
Eric smiled. "Guess it is. Though I admit it was way creepy to follow you like that. Sorry. I wasn't really thinking right then. I'm suprised you didn't sucker punch me. I would have if I were you." Eric said, being straight to the point and rather formal. He set his jaw, chewing the inside of his cheek a bit, before he glanced up and made his way a bit closer to Leah, just because he was standing near the door, and didn't want her to think he was going to make a run for it or something. Who knew what girls would think. As he got closer, he could smell the faint aroma of her shampoo, and he glanced down, not knowing what exactly made him want to come in the first place. He wasn't regretting it, no, but if any other girl had persisted asking him, he would have probably blocked future text messages from them. Not like he texted girls regularly or anything.

Re: Never Alone. (Shiori)
Leah laughed slightly. "Honestly, I don't think if you were me you'd have had it in you to sucker punch you." Leah shrugged slightly, staring up at the ceiling again, noting silently that he'd stepped a bit closer to her, though she didn't know why. "You remind me of Micah in a few ways." Leah said without thinking, furrowing her brow and staring up at the light above her bed. Finally, she turned on her side and frowned at him, "Oh, come on, would you sit down? I feel so odd laying down like this and you're just standing there!" Leah said it playfully, but it honestly made her feel a bit lax when he was standing up and she was splayed out on her bed.

Re: Never Alone. (Shiori)
Eric cautiously sat down on the edge of the bed, resting his elbows on his thighs. Glancing over at Leah, he furrowed his brow. "Not to be pushy at all, but... I dont know who Micah is." He stated, not sure he wanted to know. Perhaps she had a boyfriend, that was named Micah? Then, he realized that if she did, if she was in a relationship, he shouldn't be here. Not at all. He stood and backed up a few feet.
"Uh, If you're... If you're with someone, I dont think that person would apreciate me being here."

Re: Never Alone. (Shiori)
Leah smiled at him in a friendly way when he sat down on the edge of the bed. A strange look crossed his face for a moment before he stood up and backed away. A confused look crossed her face when he did so, but his next comment clarified that, and her eyes softened considerably. She let out a thick sigh and stared up at the ceiling. Leah muttered quietly, "I'm not with anyone," Leah continued to stare unblinkly up at the ceiling. Her voice dropped even lower as she continued, "Micah's dead."

Re: Never Alone. (Shiori)
Shit.
Eric reeled for something to say, but couldn't come up with anything that didn't sound like he was a complete idiot. Part of him was relieved to find out she was single, for some reason, but the other part felt downright awful, terrible for stating what he had just stated.
"I'm- I'm so sorry, Really, I shouldn't of asked, I'm really sorry!" That speal of apologies was all he could think of at the moment. He wasn't quite sure what he could say, or do to make her feel better, and he wondered if his presence was making her feel worse. Seeing as he reminded her of this Micah.

Re: Never Alone. (Shiori)
Leah wasn't surprised when he remained quiet for a few minutes, but the ceiling had suddenly become extremely interesting to her. She let out a deep breath and turned on her side, staring over at him, seeing the look on his face. Her own face, though, remained emotionless as he began to rant on with apologies. Leah smiled weakly before saying, "Really, it's not a big deal. You didn't know, and you'd have to find out sooner or later, right?" Leah didn't feel as bad telling Eric about it, though, as she had with others. Something about him seemed a bit more willing to know and more understanding. She smiled softly, "So, will you sit down now?"

Re: Never Alone. (Shiori)
"No..." Eric closed his eyes, his face no longer humorous. It was taught and serious. "I dont know what to say. Anything I do say cant mean anything to you. How many times have you heard the word, 'Sorry'? That word is worthless! It cant mean a single thing." Eric slumped down at the end of her bed, shaking his head softly and flopping backwards, lying on the matress and placing his palms over his eyes.
"That word is used way to much. It's way overated. Because when it is said, it usually isn't meant for real. If someone was genuinley sorry, you could tell." He sighed, knowing he sounded like a freak, but he didn't care.

Re: Never Alone. (Shiori)
Leah's frown disappeared slightly when he flopped down on the bed. She stared at him and let him talk for a few minutes before shaking her head and taking one of his hands off of his face and holding it hers for a moment, "It's really okay. You didn't know. Besides... you're different. I don't mind, really." Leah let go of his hand and curled up a bit more, looking at him and trying to make him see that she really didn't mind. Leah felt very different about him. He seemed to understand, even though she wasn't sure if he actually did. She was just glad he was here and she could talk to him. "If you want forgiveness, you have it, but it's not a big deal."

Re: Never Alone. (Shiori)
Eric had been about to go on another rage about how people never meant how they said, when he felt a warm, soft hand slip into his large, rather hard one, and take it off of his face. His hands were rough from working with wood, which is what he did in his pastime. She spoke softly, her eyes looking deep into his, and he felt something inside him shift. Confused and rather desperate to show her that he was sorry, her words seemed to calm him down, and she gently let go of his hand. He got into a sitting position, and glanced away from her face, looking at the white carpet. He must seem so out of place in here. Wearing all black, he probably stood out like a sore thumb. Still, he muttered his thanks, and gazed at the floor.

Re: Never Alone. (Shiori)
Leah smiled gently and sat up beside him, watching him as he stared at the floor. He was handsome in his own, dark, mysterious way. He contrasted with the room, but it only made her even more intruiged. She dropped her eyes to the floor as well for a moment before sighing heavily and looking up at him, quietly wishing she hadn't let go of his hand. It was nice to hold somebody's hand. Despite the slight roughness of his hand, it had a nice quality to it. It was different than Micah's hand, but in a way, a bit better. Leah turned to Eric and said softly, "Do you feel better now?"
