Rowan~

I smile at her expression and step towards her, extending an arm to the forest.
"I happened to pass a cave on my way here," I said, gently placing my hand on her arm to guide her, reluctantly taking my eyes off of her to lead her towards the forest.

Avamir~

I try my hardest not to flinch at his touch and mentally congratulated myself when I succeeded.
"Okay..." I said slowly, letting him lead me. Once we were under the dense forest foliage, I looked up at Rowan.
"You want to know where I come from... Well, where did you come from?" I ask.

[Guest]

Rowan~

I stay silent for a moment while I think about her question.
"I've led a very... Intersting, if you will, life. I ran away from my home when I was 12," I said, hoping she wouldn't ask for more. I stare straight ahead of me, focusing on the trail.

[• Echo]

Avamir~

I arch an eyebrow, studying his face.
"Is that all?" I ask, watching him intently.

[Guest]

Rowan~

I smile crookedly.
"No. But are you sure you want to hear it all? There are quite a few gory details, and things I am ashamed of," I say, turning my head to look into her eyes.

[• Echo]

Avamir~

I study him.
"Yes, I do," I say, my eyes turning the same deep blue as before. I turned and watched the path. Everything was quiet. Rowan was right; a big storm was coming, and the animals all knew.

Rowan~

I turn to watch the trail again.
"Well, if you must know, I was a prince," I say, then look at her quickly to see how she would react to this.

[• Echo]

Avamir~

I hold back a quirk of a smile tugging at my lips and nod once.
"Go on," I probe lightly.

[Guest]

Rowan~

"Well, my mother... Died, when I was born, and my father was a... A harsh man. So I ran away, as I said, when I was 12. I gathered a bunch of people who were rebels and hated my father as much as I did when I was 16, an we attacked. We did quite a bit of damage to him, too. We made u a sort of... Organization, with a whole army and everything, bent on taking the throne from my father." I finishe quickly, and glance at her again.
"That's most of it," I say.

Avamir~

I arch an eyebrow.
"That wasn't very gory. Did you edit?" I ask teasingly. A drop of water fell from the tree above and splashed on my nose, and I stopped and looked up as it began to ran.

[Guest]

Rowan~

I laugh slightly.
"Yes I did,." I also stop and look up as it began raining, gradually getting harder and heavier.
"Come on, the cave is just over hear," I say, tugging on her arm and leading her around a bend in the trial where a cave was sitting in a cliff and hurry inside as it really began to pour.

Avamir~

I follow him into the cave and wrong some water out of my hair, looking around.

[Guest]

Rowan~

I smile looking at her.
"The rain's here," I reminded her, sitting down on some sand and throwing my arms behind me, laying down, arms crossed behind my head.
"Now do I get the rain check?" I ask innocently.

[• Echo]

Avamir~

I sigh and walk over to him. I sit down cross legged in one fluid motion and rest my elbows on my knees, my hands propping my chin up.
"If you want it still," I say.

[Guest]

Rowan~

I smirk, sitting up.
"Of course I do," I say, studying her face closely.

[• Echo]

Avamir~

I watch him for a moment before looking down, studying the blades of grass in the cave.
"If you really must know, my father was the brother of a princess, and therefore we lived in the king's own palace. My father wanted me to be a warrior, and let the king's, or my grandfather's, men train me. I didn't want to fight and go into battle, so I left a few years ago. And I've been travelling for awhile, keeping in hiding because my father is still looking for me," I say, keeping my eyes focused entirely on the grass, tracing over every detail in my mind.

[Guest]

Rowan~ I watch her, sitting up.

"Well that isn't very far from my own history. And I can see why you don't want anyone to know who you are," I say sympathtically to her.

[• Echo]

Avamir~

I shrug and look up at him, staring him straight in the eyes.
"Yeah, it's been confusing, wondering who to trust, and who wants to kill me or take me to my dad," I say half-jokingly, laughing slightly and smiling small at him.

[Guest]

Rowan~

I look at her, thinking.
"So why did you trust me? You barely know me," I said, looking at her, trying to figure her out.

[• Echo]

Avamir~

I look back at him and shrug.
"Who knows why people do half the things they do? There was just something about you that I liked right away," I say, and look down quickly, blushing, embarrassed.

[Guest]

Rowan~

I smile at her.
"Yeah, I seem to have that effect on people," I say jokingly, but my mind was spiining.

[• Echo]

Avamir~

I smile, laughing a little.
"Sure, is it everyone or just me?" I ask, wanting to knwo even though I was so embarrassed and I could feel the blood rushing to my face.

[Guest]

Rowan~

I smile, watching her blush.
"Hmm, just you so far. But then again, I haven't seen another Elf in a long time," I say, moving a little closer to her.

[• Echo]

Avamir~

I smile, my heart pounding against my chest when he moves closer. I yawn small, and realize how late it is. I smile apologetically at him.
"Sorry, it's been a long day," I say quietly, my heart skipping a beat when I look up into his topaz eyes.

[Guest]

Rowan~

I smile small.
"No, it's my fault for eeping you up so late," I say. "You should go to bed, maybe the storm will let up later tonight." I scoop a little farther away from her to give her room to ly down.
