Faerie's Curse (Spritz)
Kalledia walked through the forest, her long green dress dragging against the ground. She could see her small quaint village from the tree's. She had to admit, it wasn't that bad. Actually, she quite enjoyed living there. If it wasn't for that blasted curse she had been cursed with as a small child. She could almost feel the light from her soul, pulling to get out. Nevertheless she couldn't pull it out far enough. She sighed as she ran her hand against a leaf. Moments later she heard commotion in the village. "Strange..." she said to herself quietly, as she pulled her dress and slowly ran over to the homes. She stood beside the lady she called her mother, as her's died giving birth. "What's going on" she asked as some of the villagers pulled young children into houses, whilst others stood outside with curious faces.
(I pretty much just set an entrance for your character XD If you don't mind)

Re: Faerie's Curse (Spritz)
(No problemo. It's perfect. Thanks.)
The wind blew softly overhead, rustling the leaves of the hundred year old trees that reached high into the sky, reaching thier long gnarled arms over the small village. Large leather boots landed heavilly on the packed brown dirt, and hard black eyes looked over the villagers. Some were seemingly frightened by his appearence, ushering thier children into the houses and quickly scampering out of sight, and some were watching him with warry curiousity. His hand lightly rested on the hilt of his word sword, jaw set in place tightly. Zane looked from side to side, his hard black eyes glittering slightly. His shirt was open, exposing his muscular bare chest, skin tanned darkly from the sun.

Re: Faerie's Curse (Spritz)
Kallie frowned, seeing the ragged warrior. What business did he have here? She started to take a step towards him. Anna, held her arm out. Kallie put her own, over her's lowering it. She started to walk towards him, her green eyes following his hands, where they rested upon a sword. He looked like he had been through many years of war. She could tell by just looking into his eyes. The cold glittering within them. Some of the men in the village went up to the man, but made sure to keep their distance. Kallie looked over the, trying to find out what he was doing here. One of the men, Vlad had gone up to the man. They were matched well for size. "What buisness do you have here" he said narrowing his eyes.

Re: Faerie's Curse (Spritz)
Zane was quiet, and didn't utter a sound as a few men of the village aproached him. His head was covered in a dark hood, his square jaw set in place. A thin pink scar could be seen running from the corner of his eye to his cheek, belonging to a man that had seen and done too much to imagine, seen too much horror, felt too much pain. His hard, caloused hand tightened slightly on the hilt, and he raised his head as one of them spoke. A beautiful girl started to step towards him, but he shook his head. Women. They were so predictable!
Glaring angrilly at her to stay back, he looked at the man with hard, cold, glittering eyes. "I'm here to talk to the elder." His voice was low, gruff, and full of wisdom.

Re: Faerie's Curse (Spritz)
Kallie's eyes flashed as he shot her a warning glance, with a head shake. She looked at Vlad, as he saw the small exchange, but of course, knowing him. He took it as a threat, and tensed, grabbing his own rustic sword. He didn't pull it out but just set his hand on it. Kallie couldn't help but role her eyes, knowing that he would just get killed, Vlad was brave, but stupid and rash and desperate to prove himself. Even so, Kallie could never explain to him, why they couldn't be married. She was the only older girl in the village who wasn't. Most of the villagers accepted it, even talk about her becoming the next elder, and leader. She wouldn't hear of it. Her midnight sneak out's would get too obvious, she would pretend she was human until she died. Vlad raised his head, a questioning look on his face. "What do you want with him?" he asked.
Kallie, knew that she would be welcomed into the discussion between the warrior and the elder. She was a favourite of all the villagers. She started to turn around, going to warn Klaus, that they would have company. But before she could move, Vlad raised his voice. "Kalledia, stay here." She turned around with a small glare, before ignoring him and walking towards Klaus's cabin anyways.

Re: Faerie's Curse (Spritz)
Zane tapped his fingers on the sculpted, worn wooden hilt of the sword, his hood hiding most of his face. This man obviously didn't want anyone shady talking to thier elder, and sighing heavily, he slipped the hood off of his head, revealing his face for everyone too see. A few startled gasps rang out around him, as Zane gestured to himself.
"It's me, Zane." His voice was low, but held a slight tone of fondness for the village he had grown up in. He had left when he was a small boy, and now, he was back, but as a strong warrior. The sun caught on the white flesh of the scar, making it stand out more prominent against his darkly tanned skin.
There were streaks of dirt over his skin, and a few days of coarse, black stubble coated his chin. He let his hand drop from the sword, and stared with a dead gaze into Vlad's eyes. "Let me see my father, Klause."

Re: Faerie's Curse (Spritz)
Vlad stood there, his eyes narrowed watching him. Finally when he took off his hood. He stiffened seeing Zane. A chorus of gasp's and mumbled came from the crowd watching.
Kallie stopped walking and turned around, she couldn't really recognize the man who stood there, her child-hood friend. She kept a straight face as she met his gaze, her eyes still flashing green. She didn't care who he was. Now that she recognized him she felt a spurt of anger coming from her. How he left his father and the villagers, everyone was worried. People thought he had died.
Vlad looked at Zane, removing his hand from his sword and took a step back. "O...Of course..." he said quickly, astonished. He gave a glance to Kallie giving her a small nod, but Kallie barely saw it. She just turned around and started to walk again to Klause's cabin. Vlad looked at Zane. "Follow Kalledia" he said before making a way for him.

Re: Faerie's Curse (Spritz)
Zane narrowed his eyes. "I know where my own father lives!" He spat out, pushing past the people in his way and quickly striding towards his fathers hut. It may have suprised others that he had come home. But he didn't care anymore. He recognized Kallie, but didn't speak to her, just brushed past her as he made his way towards the small cabin. Kicking open the door, he strode in, then knelt down as he saw his father, drawing his sword and stabbing it into the ground in front of him, lowering his head in respect.
"Father. I have returned. And I also have news for you, for the village."

Re: Faerie's Curse (Spritz)
Vlad looked taken back by his harshness. This wasn't the young boy he once knew, but he didn't say anything just watched him walk towards Klause's home. Kallie felt him brush past her and stumbled a little bit when he did, she glared at his back, as he quickly strode into the house. "How rude..." she said to herself quietly before following him. When he kicked open the door, she raised her eyebrows. She walked in after him, closing the door softly behind her. She took a look at Klause, seeing his reaction of confusion when Zane had stepped in.
Klause looked at him. "My son..." he said, confusion still on his face until it lifted into joy. "My boy has come home" he said loudly with a big smile. He laughed, "Stand up, where have you been all these years?" Kallie looked at him, and she could tell, he was going to get a wake-up call that this might not be the same person he once called his son.

Re: Faerie's Curse (Spritz)
(Ok, I did a terrible bio! Now I want to change him around a little bit. He still hates women, but doesent mine Kallie as much, but only because they were friends when they were younger, and they told eachother everything.)
His fathers confused voice filled Zane's ears, but in respect, kept his head down. If he had felt at home, if he had felt joyous emotions over seeing his father again, he would have wrapped him in a hug, told him how much he had missed him... But the news. That had to come first. Who knew how much time they had! Doing as his father told him, Zane slowly got to his feet, his cape fluttering slightly from the warm breeze that came through the open door. His tanned bare chest sported many scars from battle, his muscles flexed at toned from working.
"Father-" Shaking his head, he sheathed his sword, before striding up towards his much older, frailer looking father, and giving him a gentle hug. Tears threatened to fall from his eyes, but he held them in. Giving his father a hard hug, he nodded and stepped away, now all buissness.
"Father. When I was away, I was fighting for you, for us." He gestured to the village. "Now I know what is to come. And I need to tell all of you about it." His voice was deep and pained, and he lowered his head slightly, dark brown falling into his equally dark eyes.

Re: Faerie's Curse (Spritz)
(aha its fine don't worry about it...i do the same to my character's bio's and stuff too XD i understand )
Kallie watched him with mistrusting eyes, she didn't want to believe Zane had been away all this time for the villagers benefit. She bit her tongue as she tried to keep her words in her mouth. She looked at Zan'e toned chest, wherever he had been. He had been working hard.
Klause put his arms around his son, he felt an old smile creep onto his lips. A smile that hadn't been seen for quite some time. He felt Zane pull away, and he let him go. He saw that he was serious, and there was something that needed to be said.
Kallie folded her arms over her chest as she listened to him, he seemed troubled by something. "Hard to believe" she said gruffly, "well then out with it, where have you been and what made you come back to us" she couldn't hold in the questions any longer. Klause gave her a look, "Kalledia, maybe you should go back to Anna." Kallie just shot him a glance but didn't move.

Re: Faerie's Curse (Spritz)
Zane stiffened, pursing his lips and turning to Kallie. She had grown up alright, from the playful, daring tomboy he had known, now into an elegant woman. Shaking his head, he parted his cracked lips to speak, then thought better of it. If she wanted to speak to him, she would do it later. He turned his head back to his father, Klause, and looked in his eyes. He seemed so much older. Well, it would figure, as Zane had left at age 16, almost three years ago. He partially wondered if he had caused some of the pain that could be seen in his fathers eyes, and his heart panged longingly.
"I need to speak to the men of the village." He said firmly, his voice low, cracking slightly.

Re: Faerie's Curse (Spritz)
Kallie met his gaze without flinching, staring back at them with her own bright green ones. Klause shifted at the tension she was creating. "Of course..." he said at the same time Kallie said loudly, "And of course they'd just love to hear about all your adventure's" sarcastically. Klause just sighed, Kallie had started to become difficult and stubborn ever since the village gave her the choice of marrying Vlad, or becoming the next elder. She didn't want anything to do with either. Kallie stared at him, wanting her answers.

Re: Faerie's Curse (Spritz)
Zane whirled around, eyes hard. "Kallie, you're not making this any easier for me! So if you cant keep your mouth closed for the time being, you might as well leave!" His words were harsh, hard, and he meant them. Women always got in the way, and he wasn't sure why Klaud hadn't already made her leave. He strode over to the large oak table in the center of the cabin, and gestured for the elders and men to gather around. A map was spread out on the table, a map of the land. The mountains could be seen on the map, along with the large rivers and valley passes.
He would explain to anyone who wished to know why he had been gone, but not now. "It is time. The time has come, where out small village is no longer accepted by the warriors of the east."

Re: Faerie's Curse (Spritz)
Kallie was slightly taken back at his harshness, even if he had used her old name, a name no one else called her. She hadn't heard it for so long, but it made her even more angry that he used it. "I shall not keep my mouth closed, I will speak here whenever I want to" she retored. Klaude just gave her a small look that said, you asked for it. She ignored him, instead followed him looking at the map. The men where there, including Vlad. He said nothing but just looked at Zane with respect for the young warrior. He narrowed his eyes. "We've done nothing wrong to them, why would they disturb our peace" he asked. Kallie looked at Zane for a response.

Re: Faerie's Curse (Spritz)
"We have been living on thier land for the last fifty years, and they paid no mind. Now, thier land is getting taken, little by little away from them. Wars that you haven't even heard of have broken out in the far east, and west, and I have survived through them, for the sole purpose of coming back and warning you about it." Zane's voice was strong and worried, and he thumped his fist down on the table, giving Kallie a deadly glare before looking to his father. "I know that you may not believe me," He looked to Vlad. "Because I have been gone all these years. But believe me when I tell you, that the eastern warriors will be wanting thier land. They are no longer the peaceful people we remember." Zane's eyes were hard and cold, no longer belonging to the cheerful, playful teen that had left years ago.

Re: Faerie's Curse (Spritz)
Kallie listened to him, ignoring the glare that was sent her way. Klause nodded, looking at his son with a mourned look, "Of course we all believe you" he said shooting Kallie a look as he said it. Vlad nodded and Kallie spoke up. "Well then what do you suggest we do about it?" she asked him, going to stand beside Vlad. He looked at her, "Well I guess we'll fight them for our village" he said with a nod of his head. Kallie looked at him, "Are you mad? You'll take all of them men out of the village to be killed, none of us have any battle training, or any decent weapons" she said with a small nod towards his rustic sword that Vlad had. "Taking us into a battle would kill us all" she said and turned towards the map, her face scrunched up as always, when she was in thought. Klause nodded, agreeing with her words.

Re: Faerie's Curse (Spritz)
"If we battle as we are, we seal our fate. The men of the eastern people are no longer friendly either, and they take woman and children to be slaves or worse. I have witnessed it myself." He trailed off, his eyes unknowingly traveling to Kallie, before he deliberatly looked away, down at the map. "If we fight, we lose everything we have. Our families, our homes." Not really having a conclusion, he drew in a long breath and straightened, his face set.
"I understand if you dont trust or believe me, but this is all true."

Re: Faerie's Curse (Spritz)
Kallie heard him say that, she stiffened slightly at the thought. She didn't look up from the map though, not realizing Zane's eyes were on hers. She kept staring at the map. Vlad also gave Kallie a side longed look, he saw that she was in thought. "Kalledia, what is it?" he asked her. Kallie straightened up, and looked at Zane. "How many other villages will this have a effect on?" she asked him, most of the hostility gone now, she would do anything to protect her adopted families and village.

Re: Faerie's Curse (Spritz)
Zane looked up as she spoke, his long dark hair falling into his equally dark eyes. His scar was prominent in the dim light, caused by the razor sharp tip of a sword. His jaw was set tightly, and he raised his head, swallowing once before he spoke, adams apple moving slightly. "On all villagers in this area. It's not just us. It's everyone." He looked down, away from Kallie's face.

(hehe its okay no fail, your a great writer! So even if you give me like one line i still have stuff to work with (just please no one linersXD ))
Kallie nodded her head, her long golden hair in her face as she studied the map carefully, then she looked up at him. "We should go to them, warn them. Maybe they could join us, whatever we decide to do, we'll be stronger if we have numbers" she said quickly looking at Klause, then Zane. She herself thought that her plan could work well, but then a women of the village it wasn't her place to make decisions...but that had never stopped her before.

Re: Faerie's Curse (Spritz)
Zane threw up his hands, obviously pissed that a woman was calling the shots. "You do what you want, Kallie." He said her name rudley, then pushed past the villagers, striding out the door and down the narrow village street. His hand gripped the hilt of his sword tightly, and he strode past the cabins, headed towards the small pond that him and Kallie used to sit at when they were younger.

Re: Faerie's Curse (Spritz)
( aha NOOOO don't feel that way )
Kallie stood taken back, what was wrong with her plan? She thought it was a good one, Klause nodded his head when she spoke like he agree'd. What was Zane's problem? She glared at the now closing door as he strode out. Vlad put a hand on her shoulder, "he's been gone awhile, he doesn't know everything yet" Kallie shook him off, "I'm going to give him a piece of my mind..." she grumbled under her breath. "Kalledia..." Vlad said taking a step towards her, before Klause put his hand out stopping him. Kallie walked out of the cabin, she looked up. It was evening and the sun was setting, she'd have to be quick. She picked up her dress slightly before walking down the village street looking for Zane with no luck. She finally decided to try the pond, she doubted he was there but went there anyways.

Re: Faerie's Curse (Spritz)
A slight splash of water filled the silence, as the stone Zane had thrown skipped a few times, before sinking under the surface, probably never to be seen again. Sitting by the pond, knees drawn up, Zane stared at the water, the small ripples spreading outward. He looked down at his side, his fingers closing around another rock, and he expertly threw it towards the water. It too, skipped a few times, before sinking. He used to skip rocks for hours on end, thinking and waiting, but now, he wasn't sure why he was here. Leaning back against the broad trunk of the magnolia tree, he closed his eyes, his open shirt fluttering slightly in the warm breeze, that carried the wonderful scent of ripe apples and newly opened flowers. The light pink petals from the magnolia flowers drifted downwards, settling around him lightly. The green lilly pads floated on the surface of the water, and a small green frog plopped onto one of them, hopping from one to the other.

Re: Faerie's Curse (Spritz)
Kallie finally reached the pond, and to her surprise. He was there. She narrowed her eyes and walked over to the pond before noticing how peaceful he looked. Like the Zane she remembered, her feature's slowly softened as she started to walk over to him. She didn't understand what had gotten him so angry when she had voiced her opinion, he never acted this way around her before he left. Kallie didn't want to imagine the wars he'd been through. She shuddered slightly. Kallie hated violence, warriors she had seen in the distance riding their horses always scared her. She never quite understood why humans's had to be so violent. She finally reached the pond, and stood beside Zane. Watching him, he was much more handsome than before he left, but the scar, she couldn't help but stare at it.
