"Good." Blade flew on for a few miles, then gently swooped lower, letting the horse back on the ground, and landing beside her. I slide off and rush to Gilraen, wrapping her in a tight embrace.

(I know, short.)

Gilraen smiled at Blade once they landed, only to find herself wrabbed in Caldrion's embrace. She moved the infants slightly so she could wrap her arms around Caldrion as well, to return the gesture. She burried her face in his shoulder. "I was scared. I thought he was going to take me back there." She shuddered. "I can't go back there..." she shook her head, moving the fabric of his shirt along with her head movements.

(Uhh... no. I really want to keep posting on here, but I am running out of ideas.. you?)

(umm idk... how about you, any ideas? Maybe we can play when they reach thier new home, then have to build a house and gather food and such?)

[ sure ^____^ i was thinking we could skip a few years until the boys -- infants -- are older and we could split play those roles a bit later. And just a question out of curiosity, Gilraen & Caldrion aren't going to have another baby, are they? Or will they eventually? ]

As the horse slows, I slip off of his back and help Gilraen down, taking the babies in my arms. I look around at the clearing, surrounded by trees and berry bushes. I had built a house once, I could do it again. I hoped.

Gilraen smmiled gently and greatfully accepted the help of Caldrion to get down. She smiled as he took the children and said, "I should probably build a crib for the two of them." Gilraen said, looking around her surroundings. It was a lovely little clearing, and she could fainlty hear the sound of rushing water somewhere nearby. "Wonderful little place here... They shouldn't find us." She smiled, pleased, and looked at the infants again.

[Spritz]

I keep our baby in my arms, but hand back the other.(Forgot thier names, sorry.) "Yes, and see those trees over there?" I ask, pointing to quite a few very large trees. "I can use those for the wood for our house." In my head, I start to map out where it would be, then pick up a sharp stick, and draw a perimater in the dirt.

Gilraen smiled and took back Valandril, watching him point and start drawing a perimiter for the house in the dirt. She smilred gently and quickly set up a bunch of leaves, and rested Valandril on them, taking Elendril and placing him beside his half-brother before grabbing some strong, thick sticks and beginning to create a crib, shaping the wood both with magic and my small dagger.

I concentrate on the shape, making individual rooms. One for me and Gilraen, and one for the boys to share. A kitchen, a sitting room. I draw on an extra square for the fireplace, then step back. "What do you think?" I ask, pulling a knife out of my belt and helping her shave the white wood into parts of the cradel.

Gilraen looked up, then over to his sketch, smiling as she looked over the less-than-intricate designs. She nodded and said, "It'll be great. As soon as this cradle is finished, I can help you build the house." Gilraen smiled and began using some magic to smooth the wood, her magic now purple instead of pink because she had bare child with Caldrion.

I get up, squeezing her shoulder encouragingly, and gather old dead logs, pileing them up one by one, untill there was a good amount. I wiped my sweaty forhead with the sleeve of my shirt, then just took it off, my bare chest tan and wet with persperation. I rolled the logs one by one, untill there was a solid wood outline of the house we were trying to make.

Gilraen smiled and placed Elendril and Valandril in the cradle, wrapping some blankets around them that Caldrion had brought with them just in case they would be needed. Then, Gilraen made her way over to Caldrion and helped him roll some logs into place, looking at the outline. She smiled, and once the logs were in place, she asked, "What would you like me to do now?"

[Spritz]

I wiped my forhead, leaving a black streak if dirt on my face. "Ok, this might be a nasty job, but i'm gonna need mud. Lots of mud, to hold the logs in place." I walk over to the horses and take out a few old pieces of clothing. "You might want to wear this, you dont want that pretty dress of yours getting dirty, do you?" I ask, then hoist another log into the pile with a grunt.

Gilraen laughed slightly and wiped the dirt off of his forehead, smiling. She nodded and shrugged, turning to take the old clothing. She slipped them on over her dress, making sure they covered the fabric. Gilraen smiled and felt the sudden urge to throw some mud at Caldrion, but decided she'd wait until he wasn't paying attention. She found a good patch of mud and began to take the mud.

[Spritz]

I then wade into the mud pool with her, and pick up armloads, then jump out and deposite it on a log, smearing it thickly with the gooey brown stuff. As soon as it was covered, I took another log, and placed it on top, so that it was sitting on the other one, the mud sticking and keeping it in place, slowly drying and cementing the two together.

As soon as the mud on the first log had dried, Gilraen grabbed handfuls of mud and began smearing it on the second top of the log. Suddenly, she had an itch on her nose and moved to scratch it, only getting a big blob of mud on her nose, then rolled her eyes and smeared it off, only getting more of it on her face. She laughed and ignored it, continueing to spread the mud on the second log.

[Spritz]

I laugh and wipe the mud off of her nose, smearing it on my shirt. I help her roll another log onto the first, then while she got more mud, I went off again, hauling log after log in a row, ready to be used. My skin glistened with sweat, and mosquitios buzzed about my head.
