[Harley]

Sprocket burst through the door, looking around for the other two he lived with, Missy and Harley. "Guys! I'm sorry! I had to have a bath! Not my fault!" He barked sitting down on the porch, ears back. "It was the skunk! Come on!" He let out a nervous whine, not having an ear to bite was rather scary, after all, he wasn't even a year old. His tail thumped on the wooden porch as his master knocked on the window. Sprocket shook the remaining water off and jumped at the window, whining to be let it. The goats clambered up onto the porch, and Sprocket went for the younger one, barking and grabbing its ears. He soon had them off the porch and past the chicken coop. "OK." Sprocket laughed and took off at a trot towards the porch.

When he woke from his nap, Harley was sitting on the barbecue shelf, looking through and Missy was under the porch. Rain beat steadily down, and Sprocket saw they had captured and killed a rock chuck. It didn't look lie it was worth eating like a rabbit was, but it might be fun to play with. His jaws wrapped around it, shaking it in front of Harley. "We worked hard to kill it! Put it down!" Missy growled. "Make me!" Sprocket laughed. "OK." Harley said as Sprocket took off into the rain. She darted after him, going much faster. He tripped and rolled, and in a moment the rodent was out of his mouth and his master was taking it to the burn barrel. "Bad dogs!" She scolded, slapping Harley and Sprocket on the nose, and reaching under to do the same to Missy. "Ugh... that was our only entertainment source. " He muttered, yanking on Harley's long ear. "Let go!" She snarled, pinning him and jumping on the barbecue again, out of his reach.

Marley raced down the hill. "Yay!" she shouted... soon her paws dropped from underneath her and was heading toward a barn. With a grunt she stopped herself, dizzy moving in circles.

[Harley]

Sprocket watched a dog roll down the hill. She was heading for the barn, but before she could reach it, there was a raod and barb wire fence. "Watch out!" He barked, running up the hill. "I rolled into it once, it doesn't feel nice." He said, stopping her. Missy and Harley started barking, and ran up the hill to inspect.

Marley looked at the dog talking to her. "ha! Ha! There's 3 of you." she said before collapsing on the ground again

[Harley]

"Really?" He said, looking from side to side. "What? No there isn't!" He snapped at her, trying to get her to focus. "Don't make us bark anymore than we have to, we don't know what owner would do." Harley warned. "Missy trotted over and put her skunky smelling coat next to Macy's nose, the awful smell filling it. "I haven't had my bath yet."

Marley sprinted back with a yelp from the foul stench. "no offence dudette but you need a bath" she coughed

[Harley]

"I know, I will be getting one tonight." Missy said. "We were looking for the cat and I mistook the skunk for him. Lets say skunks don't like to be picked up by their scruffs." Sprocket said guiltily.

Marley`s tail thumped on the ground. "cool!" 'wow isn't he cute?' she thought. "i'm Marlene but call me Marley." she said.

[Harley]

"Cool!" Harley laughed. "I'm Harley! She is Missy and-" SProcket cut in and said his own name.

"Marley, Harley?" she laughed. "nice names" she said, she wore a pink bandanna. "unique name" she told Sprocket.

[Harley]

"Well, I was the runt and a very troublesome one at that, almost froze to death!" Sprocket laughed.

Marley listened. "well I`m- they're glad you lived." she tried to meet his gaze.

[Harley]

"Yeah." Missy smiled. "OK. Um, hungry?" Harley asked.

"no thanks, ate" she said turning to them. "imma city dog"

[Harley]

"Eww.... I would trade garbage for a good ole' rabbit any day!" Sprocket laughed.

"gross! I don't eat garbage! I beg" she said simply.

[Harley]

"Beg? When you could have the rush of chasing your meal down? I mean, we get dog food but only twice a day and we need thing s to keep us going." Sprocket said, "But Harley is the fastest, and she catches most of it."

"Cool" she saud uneasily

[Harley]

Sprocket saw the goats getting back on the porch. He took off after them, barking and making it look like a lot of fun.

Marley watched him curiously.

[Harley]

Sprocket chased the goat down to the river, leaping through the fence.

"wow." she muttered.

[Harley]

Sprocket trotted back up, a happy panting grin on his face.

"That was awesome!" she exclaimed.

[Harley]

"Well, the porch is ours and they can only sleep on it." Sprocket said proudly.
