The howl (Twisted Shadows)

I howl at the moon, my mouth open, the howl sad and alone. I lay down, my head on my paws as I waited for an answer. Not like there was going to be one.

Callie heard the sad cry and looked at the night sky, closing her eyes and howling reply. She pricked her ears

I sat up straight, and yipped back. My nose in the air, I waited.

Callie followed the sound, soon finding a male. "Hell-o!" she said nervously

I stand in the moonlight, by black fur reflecting the light. I thought there was no other wolves in these woods. "Hello-" I say. I was not good at starting conversations with females.

Callie cocked her head. "I'm Callie, who are you?" she asked

Radulf-
"I'm Radulf. Nice to meet you callie. I though these woods were deserted?" I ask, gesturing to the trees around us with my paw.

Callie shook her head. "if there's one wolf, there`s more." she answered

"You're right, exept I traveled alone." I walk a bit closer to her, but not trying to scare her at all.

Callie nodded. "ah I see." she said, straightened as he got closer. "May I ask what your here for?"

"I'm not really here for a reason. I just kind of wander around. I was kicked out of the pack by my father.My mother died delivering me. I have been living alone since I was a pup." I stop walking, seeing that she stiffened. "Please, dont be afraid of me."

Callie looked confused. "I'm not scared" she said releasing a heat scent. Just one, though faint.

[Spritz]

I keep myself in controll as I smell that she was in heat. "Why are you here?" I could feel my tool starting to come out of its sheath, but I quickly draw it back in.

"For adventure and to get away from my pack before I become Alpha" she answered with a nod...

"You're becoming Alpha?" I lower my shaggy head. "I would have been..." I smell her heat scent again, but I would only breed her if she wanted me to.

"Yeah..." she gritted her teeth. "sorry you couldn't." she murmured lowering her own head

(Are they going to breed? Just wondering)
"It's nothing." I say. I squint my eyes, looking at her. "Do you have a mate?"

Callie looked up, surprised. "I am meant to why?" she asked

"It just seems that the alpha would already have one" I say, telling her the truth. I hang my head, knowing I had no chance with this beauty.

"What are you trying to say?" she asked, wishing to help someway.

"Ok, I was wondering if you wanted to be my mate. But I know your answer. You hardly know me anyway." I turn and start to walk away.

"Yeah..." Callie nodded. "I'd love to!" she barked happily.

I stop short.
"What?" I asked, to suprised to do anything different.

Callie rolled her eyes. "i said yes." she repeated

"But-but I'm nothing! I'm a worthless piece of crap, and you are an alpha!"
