Amelia snorted when he was finished and replaced her tail, lowering her head to graze. She flicked her tail and turned around to nuzzle his shoulder.

I looked at my pregnant mate. "Are you okay?" I smiled and nuzzled her cheek.

Amelia nodded hazily, nipping her stomach. She laid down, stretching out. She knew it was time. She snored, beginning to push.

I licked her maw and stood over her protectivly. "It's okay.... You just push. I'm here." I comforted her as best as I could.

After another few pushes, the foal came into the world. Amelia laid there, silent for a moment, breathing heavily. Then she rolled to her side and looked at the foal. She immediately began grooming the foal, licking it gently.

I watched her the whole way through, then, when our foal rolled out, it was the most wonderful feeling in the world. "It's beautiful...."
