"Amelia, I see the way you look at him, I see how he looks at you. I heard the things you two said back there." I watched her walk off steadily and then heard my filly's cry. "Oh no." I bolted to where she stood after Amelia fought them off. I chased where they had left too and eventually found them. I killed five out of the six, the alpha male still left. He tore for my neck and got a gash across it. I reared and landed on his backside. He tried to limp away but I caught up with him, crashing his skull. I snorted and fell, that fight had taken up all my energy. I had long scars up and down m,y body, the gash at my neck bleeding aggresively. I lay there, motionless on the last string of life......

Amelia snorted and shook away the blood that trickled from her wounds. She laid down next to Dreamer. She nuzzled him. "Don't give up on me, Dreamer.... please..." Her voice cracked, as she was on the brink of tears. "Don't give up..."

Desire layed there and she was colder second by second. "mama", she said and it reached her neck of the clodness and then she layed there.....without a word...

Apollo stopped and looked around. He saw Amelia leave so, he sighed. He lowered his head. He was alone once again. He started trotting in the forest, filled with sadness.

I walked through the woods, not caring about my life, when I spotted a handsome stallion. I stopped and pretended to graze as he was coming towards me.....

I lay there, hearing Amelia's words. I couldn't answer back, but I opened my right eye. a little. I snorted to tell her I was still alive......

Amelia then got up and cantered over to Desire. "Baby, are you all right?" She asked, nuzzling her foal.

Desire layed there motionless. "Mama", she said and the coldness touched the top of her ear and she coughed. "help me mama", she said and layed there.

Apollo sighed and looked at the ground sadly. Why did no one care? Why was he the misfit? He looked up to see a mare and sighed just standing there. He could not see another mare EVER again.

Desire looked at her mother. She felt warm again! "Mama!" she said as she began to stand up. She was still hurt but at keast she's alive she stood up all the way and smiled. "Mama I'm alive!" she said and smiled so wide her cheeks hurt then she walked a little limping but she didn't care.

She limped after her daughter, basically dragging her left, front hoof in the ground. "I'm glad, honey," she said lovingly, hiding the pain. "I don't know what I'd do without you."

Desire looked at her mother. 'Me neith but daddy doesn't love us", shye said and watched him with the mare. 'He's moving on", she said and sighed.

I lay there, unable to get up. My one eye I had been able to open shut again. I tried to speak, but just a sigh escaped. I tried to move, but that didn't work either. I just gave up after a while. But, when I was about to leave Earth and light flashed in my eyes and I felt strong again. I spoke in barely a whisper. "Amelia..... Desire......."

Amelia trotted over to Dreamer. She snorted and lay beside him, "Don't go, Dreamer....don't go..." A tear rolled down her cheek and onto Dreamer's shoulder.

"I'm not." I stood up slowly and trotted closer to Amelia. I nuzzled he rand turned to Desire. "Desire, I love you more than words can say. I love you and your mother. Both of you so much. I promise nothing is ever going to happen again if I have anything to do with it." I licked the top of her hand and smiled. "I'm so sorry to both of you. I do love you though."

Amelia nodded. She stumbled on her injured hoof and fell. She snorted, trying to put weight on it, but failed and fell down again. She let out a small whinny and snorted.

"Amelia!" I dove down to help her up. I slid her on my back and raised up, putting her on her feet. I shuddered at the sight of blood. "We need to go home...."
