A Shifter and a Jester

It was a warm day and the waves rolled on the beach, I sat down at the shore line, the wave splashing onto my feet, i was cool and calm on the outside but inside my emotion were going wild, I was scared and happy at the same time. I didn't know what to feel anymore. I sighed, I had got away from him this time but what would happen next time, I was more Agile but he was older and stronger and had added experiance. I put my head on my knees and cried quietly to myself

i walked along letting the waves lap at my feet.. i then saw Belle....
"hey you ok, what happened?"

i waited for an answer till some annoying voices from my pocket came... "honestly, you need to stop-" "how about i shread you?" i asked the cards with a smile and they were silent... on my back were white wings with feathers of ashes.. no seriosuly they were made from ashes every single feather...

I lifted up my head, my mascara running down my face, " Oh nothing, I just have.. s..some- one trying to kill me and I don't know what I have done wrong, I barely get away by the skin of my teeth. I don't know where my mother is." I had fear, anger and sadness running around in my mind. What if this person standing infront of me was him, just shifted. A huge surge of fear sprang forth. " ummmm,.....I didn't catch your name" I asked, wiping away my tears.

"don't worry i know what you thinking and there is no way a shifter can change into to me, since i'm not seen very often and i'm Black Jester....Ash-Kinfe, nice to meet you" i said and gave a bow i had a black top and trousers as well as a black cloak with a strange light blue symbol on the back...i had short white hair, crimson iris' with red ebony pupils... i also carried a deck of bladed cards and yes they talked..."i'm not particulairy the best thing to shift into either.. i am constantly chased by demon hunters, angels and other creatures that want me dead so no shifter would since they can't replicate one of my skills" i said "and you are?"

I relaxed a little "hi, I'm Belle. at least we have something in common , getting hunted." I force a smile. As I stand my sword rests on my hip.

"why do people use swords and blades, cards are much more fun and harder to avoid .. although if they talk theyare very annoying" i said looking at her sword... my name in english was Ash-Wings... so Ash-Kinfe was the perfect name for me...
"actually i don;t like fighting i avoid it if i can but i usually can;t since this swarm of pests are constantly on my tail... lets just hope you hunter and my hunters don't join forces" i said "and don't force a smile it makes me feel sick since they are always full of empathy(no emoition)"

"Sorry, I guess forcing a smile is my way, of covering how scared I really am" and It would drive me crazy having the card talk all the time." So what tricks can you do then I shift tha's it."

"well my wings are made of ashes and i can change them, i control bladed cards that talk which are as rare as me, i i'm freakishly agile adn fast and i have a lot more stamina than most other types of creatures including vampires,werewolves and shifters...i can also copy other creatures tricks as well" i said "Ash, they-" "now then i need a shreader" i said smileing with an mix of evil and mad in the smile...
"ahh no, we were just saying that your sayign to much" "huh? i can say as much as i want"

"That sounds cool, so why are you hunted, if you don't mind me asking."

[Soul Hunter]

"why? because Black Jesters don;t come by very often i'm the first one in... well since about the 6th century" i said

" So why would they try and kill, if you the first one in so long" I asked, confused

[Soul Hunter]

"because if i wanted to i could destroy them, i also have destructive powers and well they did try to capture me before when i was younger but i easily escaped so now they want to destroy me because i can destroy them" i said..."basically my kind is a type of fallen angel in a way.. in heaven there are Jesters that are born.. they aren't as rare and come by every 10 years or so, but for one to be born with my kind of eyes and hair makes them a black jester and they are abandonded at birth with the mother and father killed...i hacked into the information up there.. also i was born without wings since mine are made of ashes"

"I'm so sorry, i didn't know...." I said regret echoing around my voice " I hope I havn't upset you.

[Soul Hunter]

"hey, i got over that years ago i just need to focus on staying alive for now anyway i'm just going to hope i find another... sometime more than one is born" i said cheerfully.. "anyway now back to you, how old are you anyway? i'm 16 and how about we work together for a bit... it'll do both of us some good"

" I'm 19, and yeah it will do me and you a lot of good having someone else around, I have a house which seems to be a safe place, if you wanna go there." I felt safer knowing there was someone else with me.

"house? i've not been in one of thoose for a while" i said with a smile.."why not"

I morph into a horse, "Jump on."

"no thanks i'll fly, my wings are small enough for me to dart through the trees anyway and i can keep up" i said

I darted of acrooss the beach

i followed after her and spread my wings easily keeping it

I turned and ran up a small hill, nearly slipping in the sand as it shifted undeneath. As I reached the top, we entered the woods.

i landed in a tree and jumped from on to the other following her "i never got your name" i said

"oh sorry, my name's Belle."

[Soul Hunter]

"nice to meet you Belle" i said and my wings turned slowly to ashes and blowed away in the wind the bone was left so i folded the bones behid my cloak ad smiled as all the feathers vanished into the wild ashes into the wind... "perfect" i whispered to myself with a mad smile
