As I take in a deep breath my sides widen to accommodate (sp) then sink back in as I release the air back out. Its filmy form rising up into the sky. Licking my lips I flick my tail and extend a foreleg as I lower my head. Scratching my head vigoriously for a few moments. Shaking my head I bring it back up with pricked ears. Once again it was only mere seconds before my young eyes returned to the beautiful valley. Its vast glory sent tingles across my skin and a rush through my viens. Shivering visibly in excitement, I toss my head up and down.
After I toss my head I let out a loud sharp whinny again. Its ringing call bouncing and racing through the forest and valleys. When it echos back to my sensitive ears I almost smile..but with it came another thought. One that was humbling. It rang in only my voice, showing of nothing else. Sighing I brighten up a little when I remember the fairy and other animals that accompany me here. But once again the thought that I might be here forever alone , its biting coldness making me cringe. Snorting I shake my head to rid the thought. It would be by your own doing. My thoughts scoffed lightly..

Sorry I haven't replied in awhile, I've just been so busy and couldn't think of anything good, so the post may be a tad bit lame Lol.
The white stallion paused a final time, less than a quarter of a mile away from where he guessed the mare to be. Her joyous whinnied filled the air now, and he tossed his head up high, neighing loudly back to her, his deep voice strong and clear, welcoming, and not in the least bit threatening, but friendly. His sides shook slightly as the sound escaped him, and he lifted one long foreleg, striking at the ground and sending snowflying before he lifted his feet high and bounced through the snow, neck arched and tail flagged, ears pricked forward as he listened for a reply, feeling relaxed and at ease.

[Haha its okay. we all get busy at some time ]
My highly acute ears picked up his strong clear voice quickly, my head whipping in that direction as a reaction. Nickering I turn and step that way. My head high and the whites slightly showing I flare my nostrils. Tossing my head I squeal and prance a few feet towards him then stop again. His voice had been friendly and welcoming. Smiling I put my nose into the wind and let out another loud whinny. One just as friendly and curious. Pricking my ears I stand still like an ice sculpture and wait patiently. The muscles under my black pelt twitching and sending shivers all over in antispation. From moving so much, my forlock remained split in two on either sides of my ears though it fell back normal when I tossed my head again. Swishing my tail I rest a back hoof as I wait.

I pricked my ears forward at her responding whinnie and tossed my head, quickening my pace until I was once again moving forward at a long-strided, flowing canter. The trees around me began to thin and I could seethe glint of sunlight bouncing off the white snow in front of me, and I slowed back to a trot, then a walk, and stepped through the last line of trees and out into the open where the black mare and the fairy who accompanied her waited so patiently. Holding my head up, I arched my neck, ears pricked forward as I snickered a friendly greeting to them both, the sunlight catching the individual hairs on my coat, warming my body and sending rays or light dancing over my hide.

Hearing him come through the grove of tree's I turn my elegant head in his direction. A second later my now gentle eyes were resting on his. I take in a small breath and tense just a little, though when Fairy landed on my back and began to talk soothingly I calmed. "He is here as a friend Rain. Do not get tense. What happened back there was a mere accident." She said, her voice held all the calming notes that took to ease my muscles. Swallowing I slowly nod, the whole time my eyes had never left the strong stallion before me. Flicking my tail I nicker softly, my slender black ears pricked forward.

Lol, it's fine, we can't always write massive, page-long posts.
I pause slightly as I step from the trees, smiling warmly as I saw Black Rain and the fairy, stepping forward again and whickering another soft greeting to her and the fairy. I stop close to her, though not close enough to make any of us uncomfortable, and toss my head up into the air slightly. "Hello," I say, my voice deep and warm.

Black Rain~
I give a smile when his warm one came into view. "Hello.." (sorry forgot his name haha) I say as I dip my head to my chest. The fairy flitted from my back and came to a rest beside my muzzle, resting her small hand placed above my nostrils. She too smiled and waved.
(lol i didn't know what to say)

Haha, it's fine, I can't really, either. And me too, Lol, I gotta go look...
I felt an uncomfortable silence begin to fall over us for a few short, but seemingly endless, moments. I swishes my tail, although it was still far too cold for flies or knats to be bothering me, and tossed my head slightly. She looked... Better, I guess might be an appropriate word. Her voice was smooth and lovely, she wasn't tensed as if she were about to bolt. The fairy hovered by her nose. "How are you?" I ask. It was a lane question, I knew, but I was actually curious.

Black Rain~
I cautiously lift my eyes to his when i hear his question. "I have been doing alright.. How about you?" My voice was tentative as I asked, but it was only because it seemed as if we could start off again and hopefully have a different outcome. Shaking the thoughts, I give a friendlier smile and nudge the fairy softly.

I shrug mentally at the tense conversation we were having, deciding it was a start at the least. "I've been good, things seem to... Change, when the feeling of Spring comes into the air," I say, flicking my attention to the fairy still hovering by her nose. For some reason, the fairy and mare seemed to trust each other completely, and the fairy stood by Rain's side even when she was- No, I wouldn't think of that now. "And how have you been?" I ask, swishing my tail calmly.

I dip my head and smile bigger. "Yes I agree! We have been great. Especially since spring started." My light laughter accompanied my words. Flicking my black tail I gently turn my head just a bit to bump the fairy. Knowing that she was being quiet. In turn the Fairy smiled and playfully punched my nose then flitted up and rested inbetween my ears and started to speak. "Yes, we have been really good sense coming off that god forbidden mountain!" She almost shrieked as she ran out of breath but then a wide smile spread across her face.

I smiled softly when her own smile lit her face, knowing exactly what she meant when she said they were better since Spring started. My gaze focused on the sma fairy as she punched Black Rain's nose playfully, her voice high pitched, matching her current mood exactly. Her smile lit her face as well and I looked at them both smiling. "Yes, I know just what you mean," I say, swishing my tail slightly and tossing my head.

I was grinning then frowned slightly, as the thought of the other mare crossed my mind. "How..uh..How is your lady friend?" I say as I look past him then back at him
(sooo sorry it was so short)

A flicker of guilt tainted my mind at her next words, having been so caught up in the coming of Spring and finding Black Rain and her fairy friend that Misty had been pushed farther back in my mind. Not completely forgotten, but shouldn't she be most important right now? I didn't know anymore what was quite right or wrong exactly. "She was... Doing fine, when I left her," I say, mind flickering back at the suicide she had attempted before I could stop her. I suddenly felt a great unease, was anxious to get back to her, to see if she was alright still. I shook my head slightly, the unrest festering and growing inside me.
(I don't think she's been on in quite a few months, actually)

Black Rain~
Like I could feel his emotions within him, my eyes take on a new look. Dropping my head only about an inch, I take a step back away from him. Now that the sun had dispersed behind the mountains, we were left with only the twilight. The long shadows of tree tops slide across my back and over my form until I was completely in the shadows.... I could not be around that mare... I did not trust myself to keep control....That still bloodthristy monster was in the back of my memories. Like a tortured monster it clawed at my memories...making me remember. Swallowing quietly, I turn my eyes from him and look away like it did not bother me. No trace of emotion on my face...
"That is good." My tone changing to that of listlessness.

I was aware of the changes that took place both physically as well as mentally inside her in the brief silence that followed the absence of our words. Her head lowered slightly, she stepped back, and I could almost feel her tenseness as if it were my own as the shadows slid closed to encase us in darkness, though, of course, my white pelt still stood out from the darkness. Her next words were spoke with a tone of indifference, and I tossed my head slightly as I took a step closer to her, making up for the step she had taken back.
"Is everything alright?" I asked, though I knew the answer before she replied, I wanted to hear it coming from her. Of seemed to me she was almos afraid of something, but I couldn't quite fathom what that would be.

Black Rain~
I raise my head back up a tad when he steps closer. Snorting softly, I lower my head again. I wanted to tell him, Yes! Something is deffinitely wrong..... but I didn't. Instead I cleared my throat and raise my head upward again, my eyes boring into his for a mere second before I look past him from wence he came. "No, no. Everything is quite alright." I say calmly. I ignored the Fairy, who was pulling my forlock in a scolding manner.

My eyes showed my doubt at her words but I let it drop. Glancing at the fairy, wondering if she knew anything about it, I decided the topic of Misty made her uneasy and decided to change it. I suddenly realized I didn't know the fairy's name, and had never heard Black Rain say her name. "What is your name?" I addressed the fairy, eyes trailing over her tiny features, ears pricked forward, muzzle extended towards her slightly.

Unlike Black Rain at the moment, I decide to put on a smile and address him. "Oh, I'm just called Fairy." I laugh heartily and brush some stray strands back from my face. Then I look back at him. "Odd, I know."

I smiled faintly. "Surely you must have a proper name, not just Fairy," I insist, stomping a back hoof in the snow and flicking my tail. Now that the sun was behind the mountains, the little light that had been left was quickly dispersing, and, when I tilted my head up, I could see that the moon was out and the stars were slowly beginning to show themselves again, winking softly down at us.

Shaking my head, I snort softly and walk back towards the weeping willow I had seen earlier. The fairy lit from my back and rested on a branch that wasnt that far away.
Fairy~
After sitting on the branch I cross my right leg over my left one. Resting my left elbow on my knees and placing my hand on my chin, I furrow my eyebrows thoughtfully. "Hmmmm....I believe I once did...But I can't remember."

I felt a bit of disappointment as Black Rain left us to walk to a nearby weeping willow, the Fairy lifting from her muzzle and sitting on a branch. I didn't let it show as I watched the Fairy, smiling kindly. "I suppose that is understandable, but still a bit doubtful that your own name could be forgotten," I say, smiling faintly.

I slap my hand to my forhead. "Oh! I'm so sorry!" I chuckle and shake my head. Catching his eyes as they follow Black Rain, a quick smile spreads across my face but just as quickly disperses before he could see. "I have forgotten because I am decades old."

My skilled eyes traced the Fairy's outline, who didn't seem that old at all, but I smiled kindly. "You look lovely," I say, swishing my long, white satin tail. My mane was of the same color and appearance, draping down on my crest and neck, the longest tips at my withers reaching a few inches past my shoulder. My eyes moved to Black Rain, then to the tree she stood under. A weeping willow. That meant the lake couldn't be all that far away, snorting quietly, I took a few steps in that direction, tossing my white head, ears straining to catch the slightest sound of ripples across water or small waves, wondering if the lake had thawed yet.

Again laugh. "You are to kind Spiritum."
Black Rain~
Sighing I flick my tail to my flanks. I just couldnt let myself get out of control like before. I would take every precaution I could think of in order to do so. Lowering my head I nibble at the grass, but do not eat any. Lifting my head, I turn towards Spiritum and study him thoughtfully.
