The pain in her heart was growing before she was on her knees groaning. This happened alot. She dug her head in the snow before standing back up. "Sorry about that......'

He watched her calmly, seeing it was over in a minute. "I trust that you can take care of yourself?" he said, though it sounded more like a question than a statement.

The Phantom didn't look very surprised, but merely nodded. "It's not hard out here; All there is, is white," he said, shaking his head slightly, a small smile on his lips.

Mystie flattened her ears against her neck. She bared her teeth at the mare. "Get away from here!" She snapped. "You do not belong here. It is too dangerous and you are too... weak." Mystie strongly disliked this mare. She had no idea why. She turned so that her tail was facing the mare. She was contemplating running, but the stallion was too compelling. She needed to stay near him.

The Phantom
I shook my head slightly, turning to look at Mystie again. "What is it that irks you?" I asked. "So what if she may be weak? Weakness is only but a test of will," I said, tossing my mane slightly so it fell neatly on the other side of my crest.

I let my wings unfold and I bared my teeth. They were sharp. "I may be weak, but that doesnt mean I wont kill you." My dark eyes lighting up into a bright red. (Huge anger problem(sp))

The Phantom
I suddenly pin my ears back, baring my teeth at them both. "Enough!" I snarled. My voice wasn't all that mean, though it held a deadly edge to it. The spirits in the trees shifted unsteadily, their golden eyes flashing in and out of existance everytime.

My wings went to my side and my teeth and eyes returned to normal. I looked at him innocently. "Hi." I said looking down.

I rolled my eyes, snorting slightly. What was up with this mare, anyway? Shaking my head slightly, my ears still back, but my lips were covering my teeth again, I paw slightly at the snowy terrain.

"You aren't like us." Mystie snorted before she galloped into the trees. She hunted down a small deer and promptly killed it. She sucked the lifeblood of it until it was completely drained. She didn't care if the stallion she wanted so much followed her. She would always be a loner. Except the two humans, nothing had ever trusted her. Ever. Suddenly, Mystie heard a flutter in the trees. She looked up to see the winged human. "Hello." The human said. "That stallion... He is back. I must go." And with that she took off into the air as something exploded out of the bushes near Mystie.

"Whats wrong for being differnet? Im not a vampyer or a phantom, so what?" I growled and watched her before, snorting. Thurning to the woods I asked phantom. "Do you want me to leave? I will."

The whites of my eyes showed slightly as I tossed my head. "Stay if you wish. Just know that creatures live here that are capable of killing discreatly and without warning," I say with a snort, looking over to where Mystie had disappeared into the trees. For some reason, I felt a strange desire to follow her, to see where she went and if she was okay, and so I did. Walking silently through the trees, the spirits now mere shadows that danced over the ground and in the trees.

Mystie looked at the thing that had exploded in the bushes next to her. It was a wolf. She rounded on it, snapping at its neck. It leaped on her back, digging its claws into her skin. She bucked and the wolf flew off. She screamed as it closed its jaws around her left foreleg. She grabbed it in her teeth and it whimpered.

{alright, sounds good }
I stopped, swivelling my ears as I listened intently, listening for anything. Then a single scream split the stillness of the night. Pinning my ears back, I lifted my gait up into a long, rocking canter that covered ground quickly and effortlessly, the shadowed spirits darting near my side. Breaking through the trees into a tiny clearing that was barely bigger than three horse lengths in width and length, I slid to a stop, taking in the scene laid out before me. The wolf's snarls and growls filled my ears, and I could smell fresh blood, see it running down Mystie's leg. Laying my ears flat against my head, I rear up slightly, baring my teeth as I lunge towards it, my moves deadly and quick.

I covered my sensitive ears with my wings as the ear spliting scream filled the air. I took off in the air to see what had happen.

Mystie sank her teeth into the wolf's neck. She could taste the blood. She half-closed her eyes as the wolf clawed her face. She reared, dropping the wolf. It lay limp on the ground as blood was slowly pulsing out of the wound in its neck. Mystie fought the instinct to drink the blood as it lay, dying.

Seeing the lust in her eyes, I move over to her, bumping into her slightly and scowling, not breathing in so as not to take in the scent of her blood. "You are a very strange mare," I said, bumping her again and pushing her a little away from the wolf, whose jaws still snapped in defiance as it died.

"Why on earth would you say that?" Mystie said, her voice shaking with the effort. She stood next to the stallion she loved so much, shaking. She could tell he was trying not to breathe in her blood-scent.

I looked and saw them. My wings gave out and I fell to the earth. For the loud boom it made I hoped they didnt hear it as I got up in a panicing maner.
