Black Rain~
I continued to stand there in the snow. The vast white wall of snow swirling and dancing about me. My cold breath rises on the wind and instantly melts the snow flakes it comes in contact with. I lower my head with a grunt and sniff the the snow i was standing in. I could smell and taste spring coming on. Inside I could feel the old me feeling horrible for what I had done to the mare, but...that was the old me. The me that would always get hurt and take it with out defending myself. I raise my head slowly, the swirling snow around me dying down till only a few flakes even drifted on the wind the sun starts shining as the snow storm disappears. I flick my ears back an forth, holding my head high. I would never let myself go back to the old me. I would never again let others push me down. I would rise above that..no i would not change over night of course, but slowly over time. I close my blackened eyes and when I re-open them, they are the sweet brown color they once were when I was a young filly...slowly over time. Snorting softly I remember a phase my mother had told me before leaving me, "Beware of the nasty...who appear to be nice." I bow my head as a slow trickle of a silver tear slides down my face. The winds picks up and caresses my body and wings, tossing my mane and tail gently in the refreshing cold air on the mountain top.

I lower my head into the snow and just leave it there, the snow numbing my ears. I closed my eyes. I just wanted to sleep. That was it. Just sleep. I didn't like the way Phantom snapped at me. I opened my mouth and then closed it, inhaling snow, and coughing.

Black Rain~
I continued to stand on the mountain top and let the freezing air consume me. My feathers whispered in the wind like disturbed dead leaves and my mane tossed like and angry sea. Shifting my weight I look around curiosly. Making myself stay were I was, if I was to go out again I had to be sure I was in control of my body and not my temper. Growling softly I turn and nip at the fairy huddled on my back. Pushing her so she would be against one of my massive wings instead of just in the frigid wind. Flicking my long tail I look across the top of the clouds that drifted by.

(sorry, I haven't been on often)
Shaking my head, I exhaled loudly, turning my neck and looking away from her, towards the snow-capped mountains. Thoughts were working like a turmoil in my mind, runnin enessly, falling onto and crashing into one another, confusing even myself. I didn't mind the fact that the mare was somewhere out there; this was just her home as it was mine, and I had learned long ago what battles to fight and which to leave. The only thing that worried me all that much was (I'm so sorry, I cant remember her name right now) trying to go off to find Black Rain, getting herself hurt, killed. The way Black Rain moved had proved that she was no stranger to murder, if only it truly was her other side taking over. A hacking cough pulled me from my reverie, and I barely turned my head to look at her from the corner of my eye. Immediately I twisted around, pinning my ears for a moment before bringing them back forward again. Shaking my head roughly, I snorted loudly, striding to her side.
"Stop," I told her, my voice not as harsh as it was commanding. Why did it suddenly seem to be in this mare's best interest to kill herself?

I flick my tail again and look down the mountain slopes. Sighing I decide I would make my descent. I would have to sooner or later anyway, no use in starving or dehydrating myself. Shaking my head I tuck my wings close to my body, but leave enough space for the fairy, and start the long way down with a brisk trot.
(Sorry its short. I was gunna wait tell RephiamLuvr23 replied but it looks as tho she hasn't been on for over a month)

Yeah, sure, it doesn't look as if she's coming back anytime soon, anyway, or even at all...
Tossing my head up, I prick my ears forward, standing still hock-deep in the snow as I stared in the distance at the mountains. Flicking my ears backwards, I arch my neck, the whites of my eyes showing slightly at the corners but not in fear as I worked my jaw slightly, side-stepping uneasily. Shaking my head roughly as if to rid myself of flies, I prick my ears forward again, standing still once more and resting a hind leg, shifting my weight as I waited, not quite sure for what, but just waited...

Black Rain~
Once I finally reached the bottom of the mountain I trot a few feet away from it then stop. I was relaxed enough were I could change my form back, so I did. Shaking my body I snort softly and smile gently. Reaching back I nudge the fairy lovingly then turn back and let out an ear piercing curious whistle. Becoming very still I listen for a response if any, my ears twitching nervously. Looking up at the sky I notice the black snow clouds forming and shiver slightly.

Pausing, I lift my head up, ears tilted curiously as I listened to a high-pitched whistle that broke through the silence. Was it the mare? Well, it couldn't really be anyone else. Shifting my weight onto my other hind leg, I let out a low whicker of my own, not unfriendly in the slightest bit. The cold suddenly seemed to be very bothersome to me, a first ever since I had lived here, and I continued to shift uneasily, flicking my tail behind me and occaisionally pawing at the white blanket I stood upon.

I nicker softly and look in the direction I had heard the whicker. Could it possibly be the stallion? If so I was sure he wouldn't want to see me after what I had done. Sighing I lower my head a second and take a step forward and raise my head back up. But I stepped in the complete opposite direction. Walking in and out of the tree's silently as I go.

I dipped my head slightly, mane falling into my eyes as I heard a responding nicker. Snorting softly, I watched as my breath rose in misty tendrils that snaked through the air before disappearing, stepping forward again. The trees were only a few yards away, and I felt a sudden yearning to go find the other mare, to speak with her, with the fairy as well. Glancing behind me at Misty, I snorted softly. She'd probably be fine... With another toss of my head, I kept going.

Enjoying that I had more freedom of movement since there was less snow I prick my ears. Listening to all the sounds. I sure was curious about the stallion that also lived here, but also had fear for him. For the last time I saw him he looked about ready to tear me to shreds before running after that other mare. I sigh sadly but then smile weakly as the fairy sitting on my back rubs my neck.

Pricking my ears curiously, I tilt my head slightly in the direction of a family of quail as they made their way through the trees, watching them out of the corner of my eye before they disappeared. Shaking my head, I lift it into the air, eyes bright and now calm, deciding not to be worried by the mare. I didn't think it would really come as far as to a fight; She seemed to be doing her best to avoid us now. Sighing softly, I pause, rubbing one side of my neck against a tree. As long as we didn't bother each other, we'd be fine... Right?

I trot briskily until I get to a big open meadow. Neighing happily I lift my black and white feathered feet high into a rocking canter. I wait until the fairy gets off before I start running and kicking in delight. Oh it felt good that everything felt like it used to. My black mane whipped back like a dark sea and I held my tail high like a waving banner. Ears pricked I toss my head in a circular motion and let out another happy neigh.

Pulling away from the tree, I prick my ears forward, eyes soft and warm as my breath rose in the air, though not quite as see-able as it was a few days ago. True, the air was warming, the snow no longer frozen, but not melting yet. The trees, once bent over, laden with snow, were now rising again and snapping back into place. Animals that had holed up in their homes for the long winter were now re-emerging; Even now I could hear the wingbeats of birds flying overhead, could see raccoon tracks in the snow, could hear a group of squirrels bickering in the trees. Shaking my head slightly, I stand still, ears pricked forward as I listened. The world was beginning to change again, from nonliving to living, and the signs were everywhere, whether it was the gentle breeze or the brisk air. The Earth itself seemed to hold a sudden vibe of excitement, and those who were up and about were pushed to their limit, jumping about and preparing themselves for the Spring.

Slidding to a stop on a thin layer of ice under the melting snow I smile. My sides heaving as I get my breath back I chuckle lightly and nicker affectionately when the fairy comes to join me. Shaking my head I snort to help clear my air way. Hearing the birds flit around and other small mammals moving about, helped comfort me. Which was why I had chosen this isolated place to stay. It kept me calm and I hadnt killed a single thing upon arriving here..Except for when you got fiesty with that other mare...my thoughts cruelly chided to me. Shaking my head again I arch my eye brow and look up at the sky like I was looking at someone specific. "That is the past...I will only worry about the future." My voice was quiet and gentle but firm and solid in its meaning and intent. I said all this before the lovely little fairy got to me
Fairy~
I smile when I get to Black Rain and rest one of my small hands on her large muzzle. "Its good to have you back Rain." I say gently as I give her a little pat on the nose before flitting up her forhead and settle between her ears. Leaning against her left ear I cross my legs and sigh. Happy that all was back to normal...though I did wonder one thing. Was the stallion still around? Or had he left? I figured though that it would not be a good idea to ask Rain right now. It had only been a few days since the unfortunate event. And I didn't plan on reminding her of the touchy event anytime soon.

Feeling at ease in the excitement of the forest, I look up, past the twisted, bare boughs and limbs of the trees to the bright blue sky. For the first time in months I could finally see through to the blue. Looking back down, I pawed roughly at the snow, uncovering grass only a few inches down when, before, you had to dig at least a foot everywhere, if not more, to get to the grasses. Feeling a tremor run through my body, I flared my nostrils, eyes brightening as I pretended to shy at an imaginary demon, striking out with a hind leg and breaking into a gallop, slowing to a steady, controlled canter after about fifteen strides. The excitement and anticipation of knowing that Spring was on its way and would be here shortly overtook my body and I began to stride recklessly through the forest, leaving deep imprints in the snow as I weaved around trees and leaped over those that had fallen, clearing the obstacles easily and overjumping by several feet with uncontained energy. Keeping my head in my joy, I watched my footing for anything I could trip over or fall in, strides long and effortless as I headed in randomn directions.

Black Rain~
Smiling I reply to the fairy. "Its good to be back." My voice was gentle and held almost a cringe in its tone. Turning my head around I look at the hoof prints behind me, again it being the past. My smile turns to a grin as I turn my head to face forward. Rearing up to my full length I paw at the wind that gently blew and let out a loud shrill whinny. My sides shaking as the sound exited my body. Coming back down in the snow with a dull thud I burst forward into a rocking smooth canter and arch my neck. My coal black mane and forelock flowing out behind me, my wavy tail held high also danced in the wind. Slowing my pace to a jumpy trot I pick up my heavy feet in a manner that was with ease. The fairy had stayed back and rested on an ice covered branch with a smile on her lovely face. Apparently she had decided to just watch and wait.
Lifting my muzzle I flare my nostrils and take in the fresh air. The pine smell very strong as it entered my nasal passages. Tossing my head up and down I let out a loud snort as I zig zagged across the large meadow that had a small hill in the middle of it. Once at the other end of the meadow I turn around and pick my pace up once again to a canter and eventually a rocketing gallop. My large feet reaching out far infront of me and striking the ground powerfully.

Sorry, I've been at school most lately, and it's a bit harder for me to come up with a long, good post on my iPhone, especially after homework and soccer practice.
The white stallion began to slow finally, his gait morphing from the free canter to a collected trot, hooves striking the snow in front of him and pulling him forward swiftly and smoothly. He tossed his head in a tight arc through the air, tail held high in a proud manner. His heart was racing inside of him, and he seemed to dance throughthe forest, as though he too, like the forest, were coming alive and breaking free ofhe icy spell that had been placed on the forest. His mind no longer drifted to Mystie or Black Rain, nor the fairy that accompanied her; they were locked away, taking residence in the back of his mind, not quite forgotten, but no longer so important. A whinny pierced through the air and the phantom slid to a stop, ears pricked as snow fell back to the ground all around him. The day's previous problems came rushing back, and he flicked his tail around him, the tail hairs like liquid, smooh flowing snow. He tossed his head, looking through the trees to his left, but he couldn't see or detect either of the mares, though he was sure it would be Black Rain. He stood there a long time, becoming a statue in the snow, waiting, deciding. Finally, he shook his head, breaking the stillness of his body, and took a few steps towards the sound. His ears flicked back slightly, not in aggressiveness, but cautiousness. Exhaling loudly through his nose, he let go of the inner voice in his head holding him back, giving himself to his instincts.
Sorry it's s bit shorter, I couldn't really think of a really good one

Black Rain~
Ears flattened as I run along, my feet leaving their mark in the snow as I smash through it. Pricking them through my thick black hair I slide to a gaited trot and flag my tail. Only going a few feet before a sudden loud crack of a branch to the right and behind me rang out like a pistol shot. Instantly I lunged forward with a loud snort and pinned ears, the whites of my eyes showing as I stop and wheel around. Searching for the cause with narrowed eyes as I stand stock still. Letting out a loud snort, I relax and lick my lips deciding it must have just been the melting wet snow that broke it. Pawing the snow, I tear some dirt up with it and shake my head then squeal and snort. Rearing up I strike out in mid air, trying to play it off. Coming back down I pivit back around and walk the rest of the way back to the fairy. My head lowered slightly. The wind slightly catching the tips of my mane and blowing my tail back that waved to the movements of my body. My stomuch slightly swayed from side to side as I pushed through the sparkling snow. Flicking my tail to my flanks, I try to rid of the wet droplets that rested on my sides from running and had previously been snow.
My ears swiveled around continuously (sp) at the sounds of the birds and the constant cracking sounds of the forest waking up. Lifting my head up I look at the fairy and come to a stop about a hundred feet from her. My lucid eyes studied her from under my thick black forelock. Resting a back hoof I turn my head to the left and look down the valley. Its sparkling glory shone brightly in the morning sun, and seemingly rejoiced in its happiness of spring by using the songs of the birds. Sighing, I let my muscles slowly relax. It was a comforting thought to hope that what had happened the previous day would never happen again.
(Haha, don't fret about it. It is fine. )

The snow-white stallion trotted with a long stride through the trees, one ear still tilted back slightly, the other pricked forward. The whinny had been a bit faint, at least a couple miles away from where he had been, though he closed the space between the two locations quickly and energetically. He tossed his head up into the air, scaring a couple of snowshoe rabbits from the brush, and they darted away from him. Finally he found hoofprints in the snow, and he paused, lowering his head and flaring him nostrils to take in the scent left behind. Definently Black Rain. But would she really want to see him right now? And was she even calm again now? Well, mineaswell go see. He began walking again, stride slow but long as he followed the tracks.
