Kate finished the song and grared as Ryder padded out of the den, lashing this tail. Kaitlyn sighed and continued to groom Cobi's ears. One thing she didn't notice was her heat scent.

Cobalt closed his eyes as Ryder left, his face buried in her white chest. The scent filled his nostrils but tried to ignore it. He began cleaning her chest calmly, loving every second of this.

Kate sighed, and smiled faintly. She always loved having her chest groomed. "OK, your wounds should heal in about a few days." Moonlight told Cobalt, smiling at the sight. "Finally found yourself a love, Kate?" She teased. Kaitlyn replied, "What!? NO!" Kate snarled, blue eyes blazing. "Alright, alright." Moonlight growled stalking off.

Cobalt nodded to Moonlight his face still in her chest. Cobalt yipped in suprise as she snarled, then he rested his head back down on her paws nose still in her chest.

Kate pulled away, and laid down next to Cobalt. She yawned, a bit bored of laying here. "Once your wounds heal, be smarter then to just take on your older and stronger brother." Kaitlyn growled, casting her heavenly blue eyes over to him.

Cobalt held his head up for a moment before laying it down facing Kate. He replied a little confused "So you didn't want me to save you?" His voice was still soft but was getting stronger by the minute. He looked into those heavenly eyes and asked "You know, your eyes are probably the most beautiful things I've ever seen right?"

Kate looked away, and tried not to blush. "Thanks.." She replied, closing her eyes. She looked back over and smiled, her blue eyes like crystals. "Someone's in love." A familiar voice teased, Cobalt. It was Mishka. "Who me, or Cobi?" Kate asked. "Cobalt of course." Mish replied.

Cobalt looked up at Mishka as she came in, then blushed (If wolves can do that) as she said he's in love. He looked down and whispered, only audible to him "It's true." He looked back over to Mishka "Hi Mishka, how are you?"

"I'm alright." Mish replied, winking at him. "Just make your move on her." Mishka encouraged Cobalt quietly. Kate snorted and growled, lashing her tail. "Alright, alright. I was only kidding." Mishka growled, pawing Kaitlyn's shoulder.

Cobalt nodded at Mishkas encouragement, then looked at Kate and smiled not sure what to say to her. He laid his said on his paws and closed his eyes, thinking of trying to sleep. But he doubted he could.

Kate smiled as she saw Cobi's wounds fully healed. She padded down to the river and sat under a beautiful blossom tree, her blue eyes fixed on the river.

Cobalt had been walking around when he saw Kate leave. He padded after her and sat beside her "Hey Kate" he barked happily. He got a idea, he leapt into the air and caught a low hanging blossom and plucked it off. He gently pushed the flower into her fur in front of her ear and smiled.

Kate smiled and shook it off, liking the feathers that were pierced into her ear much better. "Hey, Cobalt." She replied, smirking sympathetically. "So, how you feeling?" Kaitlyn asked, scratching her ear that was quite itchy.

Kate glared at Drake as he padded by, sneering at Cobalt. "Would you like to come over here and face me tough guy?" Kaitlyn challenged Drake, getting on her paws and snarling. "No. But I'd like to give that mutt a piece of my mind." Drake snarled. Kate roared and basically ripped Drake's fur off.

Cobalt didn't hold back a snarl as Drake went by, at first it came out a little raspy but cleared itself. He narrowed his eyes at Drake, his brown eyes full of hatred of the other male. "Why don't you?" he mumbled under his breath. He stood there bristling as Kate ripped Drakes fur off. "Ha! You deserve it!" he gloated to Drake.

Drake snared, but in return, Kate gave him a death glare. "I think you should go." She growled, shoving Drake to the ground. Drake growled and padded away with a slight limp, his cold amber eyes filled with hatred towards Cobalt. One thing that Kate didn't notice was her own heat scent.

Cobalt noticed her scent and his nostrils flared a little on instinct. He said quietly "Um...what's that...smell?" he asked. This was his first time being around a female in heat, well aside from when he was a pup. He felt his tool stiffen but he held it back.

Kate glaced at Cobalt and tilted her head. "What's wrong Cobalt?" She asked, narrowing her eyes. Kate glared at her paws and wondered why he was acting so weird all of a sudden. "Are you OK?" Kaitlyn asked again, her blue eyes meeting his brown.

"There's a...um...smell coming from you different from your usual scent. It's, no offence, kind of weird but good smelling." he stuttered. "I'm okay though" he assured her. He was tempted to mount her but didn't he held back wanting to keep her liking him. His eyes met her blue as he leaned forward and licked her between her eyes holding his breath for a moment then leaning back and breathing normal, meeting her gaze steadily.

Kate raised an eyebrow, not smelling anything. Kate tensed as he licked her, but smiled. They have been together for about three weeks. Kate made it clear that Drake was no brute for her. Kaitlyn scootched closer so she was leaning on Cobalt, and licked his ears gently. Was she... Could. She.. Be in... In love with Cobalt? No! She told herself.

Cobalt was surprised when she leaned on him, but smiled at the kindness of it. He knew he was in love with her. But was she in love with him? He always asked himself this question, almost every time she did something sweet to him. He held himself back still as he closed his eyes with delight and licked her cheek then tried meeting her blue gaze.

Kate's breathing was soft with happiness as he stayed. Not wanting to move, she licked his face. Aurath watched in the shadows. "Hmmm..." He growled, stalking away to give them piece. Kaitlyn saw her father, but ignored. Aurath may be bigger than her, but she could still tare him apart.

Cobalt closed his eyes in happiness as she licked him. He opened his eyes and noticed Aurath but ignored him also. He rested his head on hers. He closed his brown eyes in contentment. A part of him that wanted to tell her his feelings for her but another said not to.

Kate smiled and layed her head on Cobalt's flank, grooming it a bit. Her heat scent grew stronger as she waved her tail in happiness, and smiled as her eyes met his.
