Cobalt smiled and crawled over in front of Kate and smiled at her. "Kate...your the prettiest fae I've ever laid eyes on, and it's true that other faes may be nicer, but no one, NO ONE and compare to you in my mind." he said, looking into her eyes. "Your only hated by people you think hate you, and you treat them badly and that makes them hate you. But I'm sure as hell not saying you should change."

"Oh, Cobalt. I..." Kate stammered. "I love you too." She told him, nuzzling his neck. Kate was maybe completely different from him, but she loved him.

((Do you want Drake to come out and fight Cobalt, but Kate gets in the way and gets hurt. Then cobalt goes nuts and kills Drake and her dad sees it?))

Cobalt smiled and pressed his nose against her neck. Then he pulled back and looked into her eyes and lightly bopped his forehead with hers and licked her cheek.

Cobalt smiled "I love you too" he said. He buried his face in her fur again, taking in her sweet scent. There still was the issue of the forced mating between her and Drake, but he wouldn't bring that up right now.

Cobalt laughed and pulled his head back and looked at her. "I know that, I dont want you to change" he said. He smelled Mishka, so he turned his head to give her a nod of greeting. Then he turned his head back to Kate.

Cobalt smiled and licked Kate's ear before scooting to where he was beside her. Then he smiled a Mishka "Hello Mishka, how are you today?" he greeted.

Kate growled at Cobalt to keep quiet. "Cobalt's love for me is not a problem, Dad." Kaitlyn growled. "And I love him." Kate added, growling softly.

Mish had padded away to give them space. But soon after, Kate heard a howl for help. When she got there she saw Mishka being attacked by a bear. Kate basically tore its pelt off. "Mish... Please, no." Kate whined.

Cobalt silenced himself at once, and smiled as she said she loved him. When he heard the howl for help, he was right on Kates heels. He snapped at the infuriated bear but with a swift bite, tearing more flesh, it ran off. Then he turned to MIsh and Kate, walking over sitting beside Kate looking down at Mish.

Kate helped her father get Mishka to the Healer's Den. She whimpered and laid beside Mish, her eyes full of tears.

Cobalt lay at the entrance his head hung low. He sent up hundreds of prayers for Mish, just for her to be okay.

Kate stormed out of the den and dashed towards the scent of the bear, soon finding it. She tore into its flesh,l claws ripping through its stomach. The beast roared and swung Kate to the side. She whirled around, instantly killing the bear with a slash of her fangs to the neck.

Cobalt leapt up and dashed away after Kate. He watched from the trees watching the bear and snarled as it swung at her. Once it was dead he padded beside her "Kate...are you ok?"
