Cobalt nodded with a smile, meeting her eyes. He was near shocked at their beauty. "It's not that deep" he said licking it lightly, ridding the light bit of blood that surrounded the small cut. Although he did want her to lick him again, but didn't want to act like a wimp.

"Good." Kate replied flatly, not really caring. Kaitlyn may be in a pack, but she was quite carefree herself. She smirked and gazed over at the river. "Bet I can beat you to the river." Kate growled, taking off. She was fast. Very fast for her size. Kate dodged trees and leaped over rocks before she saw a tree branch. She leaped and landed on it before leaping off again and landing on her paws, continuing to shoot across the land like a bullet.

Cobalt yipped in excitement and ran after her biting the branch and swinging on it. He landed and took off after her, once they reached the lake he didn't stop running. He leapt into the air and splashed into the water, sending a small wave onto the land.

Kate didn't care. She came to a rock wall and basically ran up it before doing a back flip off of the ledge and landing on her paws. Kaitlyn was one skilled fae. But then, a growling was heard. "I told you to leave me territory!" Aurath roared, towering over the young Loner. Kate groaned. "You!" A familiar voice snarled. Kate whirled around and was clawed in the face by Drake. "Ooh you really shouldn't have done that." Mishka growled to Drake. In the matter of seconds, Kaitlyn basically tore Drake apart. "You're grounded!" Aurath yowled, grabbing her by the scruff and putting her in the den with Mishka.

Cobalt had swam up to the bank in time to see Drake torn apart. He stood to his full height at about 6'3 foot and bristled out of instinct when Kate was pulled "LEAVE HER ALONE!" he roared. "I will NOT leave!" he snarled, baring his sharp fangs.

"Cobi. Go. Now." Kaitlyn growled, stomping a paw. She didn't want to save Cobalt's life from her father. Again! Kate nudged him off of the territory and padded into camp with her father before laying down in her den. Mishka, however stayed out with Cobi. "Are you completely INSANE!? Aurath could have torn you apart! A newborn pup couldn't be so stupid!" Mishka snarled, giving him a serious stare. "And you just made it worse by standing up to him!"

Cobalt snapped out of that instinct mode and swayed for a moment then shrank back down and ran out of the territory after being nudged, he was ashamed. When Mishka found him he was sitting down his head towards the ground. He answered, not looking at her. "I-I don't know what came over me...first thing I was happy and then something in my mind like...clicked and told be to be mad. I didn't really want to stand up to him..."

Mishka sighed. "Just be smarter next time." She growled, keeping her green gaze on the ground. Meanwhile, Kate laid in her den. Her mind was rushing with Cobi until she heard something about a battle. She got closer and heard Aurath's voice. It was Soto's voice as well. "The Blackhawk Pack want to take territory and food. We will battle with them in three days." Aurath ordered. "We are Whirlwind Pack. We can beat them." Soto assured Aurath. "Yes. I will not allow enemy packs to take territory and food." Aurath replied, stalking away. Kate snuck out of camp and in the direction of Cobalt and Mishka. "Guys!" She panted. "The Blackhawk Pack! We are going in battle with them."

Cobalt stood up quickly as Kate approached, "What? The Blackhawk pack? I've seen them before, they're tough..." he said in shock. The Blackhawk pack had been his pack (If that's alright) and then he said "I want to fight with you." He had dreamed of killing his brother for the longest time but now the dream may become a reality.

(Can like, Cobalt fight with them and save Kate and then you could decide from there?)

(I don't mind him fight with them. But Kaitlyn is tough as hell. She'll be going crazy in that battle.)

"I know that! The Alpha of that pack is younger than my father! My father might die!" Kaitlyn snapped, her eyes blazing. But she calmed. "Fine. You can fight with us." Kate growled, brainstorming it. The Blackhawk Pack knew that Kate was one hell of a scary female. And she would love to scare them.

(Could Kaitlyn kill Cobalt's brother. Just to add drama to it. Razz

Cobalt nodded grimly "I...uh...know that alpha....he's my brother" he said. Then added "I won't let your father die, only over my dead body. I won't let my brother have that accomplishment." He smiled when she said he could fight.

The two packs met at the battle area. Bobalt and Mishka were at Kate's side, her eyes merciless. The battle started, and the clearing was silent no longer. Kate dashed right at two brutes and basically demolished them as Mishka ran at a female. Aurath ran right into about two or three brutes, tearing them apart. Kate was fighting by Mishka's side. They took on brutes. It took Kate seconds to destroy the male. As the fight went on, Kate saw the Alpha of Blackhawk pack lung at Cobi. She roared and barreled into the Alpha. "You keep your claws off of him!" She roared.

(You play as the brother. The posts can be shorter now. That is until the battle in over.)

Cobalt roared as the battle began, destroying his enemies left and right. His brother bowled into him and Cobalt snapped at him before Kate pushed his off. He gave Kate a quick look to make sure she was okay and went back into battle.

The alpha (I forgot what I called him) of the defending pack snarled as he leapt onto his brother and huffed as he was pushed off. He snarled and bit into Kate's shoulder, feeling blood rush into his mouth.

There was no way in hell Kate would allow Cobi's brother to win. She turned on him and sank her teeth in his scruff and clawed his muzzle, before throwing him to the ground and clawing him again. The Beta of the pack leaped at Kate, but with one turn she snapped his neck then turned to the Alpha. Kaitlyn sank her dagger like teeth into his arm, biting down hard.

The alpha screeched as his Beta was killed. He smashed Kate across the face, stunning her. He shoved her down and reared his massive head back to kill her.

Cobalt had been fighting ferociously when he saw Kate being shoved. HE screamed "NO!!" as the alphas head went back. He leapt between wolves and stopped right in front of the alpha, and took the blow. He crumbled onto the ground writhing and whimpering in pain.

((I was guessing that was a yeah on the idea so I did it, if you want to change it I will)

Kate roared and clawed endlessly at the Alpha's chest before biting down on his throat in anger. "I suggest backing down unless you want to die." She snarled through his fur, blood flowing into her mouth.

(I know, Cobalt took the death blow for Kate but he is not going to die)
Cobalt whimpered as blood gushed out of his neck. Darkness began creeping up onto him, but he fought it. He tried to get up, but with no avail. He gave up on getting up and with fading eyes watched Kate, enjoying her beauty. He thought he was going to die, so he was absorbing her beauty before he passed.

The alpha laughed as he brother crumpled down, but went back into action. He let out a muffled laugh as Kate gripped his throat "The Blackhawk...Pack...will n....never give...up....you bitch!" He knew this would kill him but his did it anyway "Bye little bro, hope you die to" he said muffled before he yanked back with his head, hearing a ripping sound and fell limp, live oozing out of him.

As the last drop of life dripped out of the Alpha, Kate took her time to tare him apart. After she finished Kaitlyn whimpered and rushed over to Cobi, licking his face. "Cobi. Cobalt!" She yowled, tears forming in her eyes. The beautiful fae let tears fall.

Cobalt looked up at her and weakly smiled "Y-...We won..." he whispered. He licked her cheeks and said "Don't worry, I'll see you again one day" he said, slowly beginning to let his eyelids fall over his fading brown eyes.

"Cobalt..." She whimpered, letting tears fall. Mishka padded over and comforted Kate as she cried. "This is all my fault! If only I didn't allow Cobi to fight!" Kate wailed, her blue eyes filled with sadness.

Cobalts eyes slowly lowered fully over his brown eyes, possibly never to open again.

((TIME SKIP))

Cobalt laid in the medicine wolf den ((I guess they would take care of him if he saved Kate?)) his black fur, lightly moving with the movement of his breath. His eyelids still clung to his faded brown eyes. His bloody, matted neck was covered in wrappings and herbs. The battle had been gruesome to him but, Kate's pack had won, and Kate survived. That was all that mattered.

At times his heart beat would quicken to near normal speed, but then it would shrink back down to a slow light pounding in his furry chest. But one day his heart rate didn't slow down, it stayed a steady beat, almost a rhythm. His black eyelids came up a tiny bit to where you could faintly see his brown eye. He let a quiet sound, a tiny moan came from his, before silent, black body.

Kate paced back and forth in the Medicine Den as Moonlight the Medicine Wolf tended to Cobi's wounds. Her tail wagged as Cobalt opened his eye, and licked his face "Cobalt?" Kate whined, pressing herself onto her belly.

Cobalt's eyes opened about halfway and he weakly smiled as he saw Kate. Her beauty like an angels to him. He whined happily as she licked his face, then he whispered "Kate..." He tried to nuzzle her but only was able to get to he cheek without absolutely to much pain.

Kate whimpered and crawled closer, licking his ears. But then Kate's former boyfriend appeared. His name was Ryder. "C'mon, Kate." He said flirtatiously. Ryder had played her and used her. She growled and hought of a song to sing, and began to sing. Cobalt sighed in happiness as she licked him. He stiffened as Ryder came in but whimpered in pain then loosened himself back up. He rested his black head on her paws and licked her chest softly and listened carefully as she sang.
