Kate shrugged and bolted off towards the water. She leaped in the air, flipping as she soared. Kaitlyn landed in the water.

Cobalt laughed as she ran, following her happily. He let out a happy yip as he flew into the water, a big splash coming out from around him. He poked his head from the water and barked in delight.

"Kaitlyn!" Aurath called, stalking forward. "Its time." Aurath continued, referring to her marriage with Drake. Kate sighed and dragged herself out of the water, glaring at Drake. "I want Mishka to be my partner for this." Kate snarled, glancing at Mish. She nodded and padded over.

Cobalt saw Aurath and gave him a polite nod. Then he realized what this was about, Hell no! was the only thought to go through his head. He growled "Why force her, huh?! Why not let her see if she likes him? Hell, this may be a bastard that could kill her you know?!" Cobalt wouldn't back down on this, Kate would NOT have to marry Drake if she didn't want to. If she did he would let her go and move on. But there was no way in hell she was doing this against her will, Cobalt would not allow it.

Cobalt said "I mean no offence when I say this sir, but have you ever considered going against tradition? Like, instead of choosing, let her choose?" he said, putting his ears back respectfully. He chuckled as Kate spoke and mumbled under his breath "That's true..."

Cobalt spoke, watching Kate closely as she ran off, "Dont the alphas make the laws?" He asked. Then mumbled "And to every law there is a exception."

Cobalt smiled and nuzzled her neck, her white fur tickling his nose. Then he grinned and nipped her ear playfully and hopped away, bouncing around playfully.

Kate smiled and sighed happily as wind blew towards her. She stood on the rock that hovered over the river, letting the wind blow through her fur.

Cobalt looked her way to see the wind blowing through her fur. He gawked at her glorious beauty for a minute before hopping up onto the rock beside her, the wind blowing their fur together.

Cobalt smiled and licked her softly between the eyes. Then a gust of wind caught him unsteady and be toppled into Kate, falling off the rock. He landed on bottom and her on to and he laughed.
