Emiko watched him go around and fix up everything, filling her cup with sparkling grape juice, which smelled heavenly, but when the pasta was placed out, the room was filled with an aroma like any other she’d ever smelled. Emiko smiled as he put on the music and dimmed the lights, and she felt her heartbeat speed up slightly with the atmosphere. When he sat down across from her and asked her about it all, Emiko smiled a gentle smile, but it was smaller than the other smiles she’d had. “It’s…” Emiko fumbled for the right words a moment before picking the right words, “It’s amazing. You’re amazing.”

Josh waited patiently for her answer and when she did, he blushed red reaching his cheeks. He reached out and clasped hands at her. Stroking it with his thumb. He looked in her eyes. "I'm so glad I met you Emiko." he said with a smile. Letting go he looked down and took a bite of his pasta... he was not a sloppy eater. He looked up at her hoping she'd like it to but not wanting to pry on her. Looking down he took a drink of the sparkling grape juice and inhaled deeply with a smile. "Mm-mm." he whispered.

Emiko smiled as he took her hands in his, and she felt her blush deepen slightly. Emiko moved and took a bite of the pasta, savoring the taste. It was the most delicious thing she’d ever tasted. Emiko watched him as he took a sip of the sparkling grape juice and chuckled at his reaction, “It is pretty good, isn’t it?” Emiko said playfully, taking another bite of the tasty pasta. It was moments like these Emiko knew she’d treasure forever. Yet she still wondered when they were going to get married. She was, in the back of her mind, afraid that being in such close proximity with each other would lead to things that they wouldn’t intend. She loved him more than anything, and she could tell he loved her too, and that mixing with closeness was bound to lead to something they didn’t want just yet. Pushing the thoughts from her mind, Emiko took a sip of the sparkling grape juice. “This is the best dinner I’ve ever had,” Emiko said, quite sure of herself. “Compliments to the chef,” Emiko said, winking at him humorously.

Josh smiled and gave her a small chuckle along with it to her words. His eyes filled with love and humor as he took another bite. It was quite only for the matter of seconds before finally, he nodded. "This chef is perfect isn't it... with the most beautiful fioncè" he said and got up walking towards her, kneeling down and grabbing her finger. "Will you marry me?" He asked even though hey talked about it and she was probably expecting it.

Emiko murmured, “Fiancé?” watching him as he walked over to her and kneeled down. He took her fingers in his and the next thing he said made her heart race, and she smiled broadly. Emiko wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him gently, “Of course I’ll marry you,” She whispered, hugging him closely before letting go of him. Her eyes searched him with a loving manner, her heart still racing. How he managed to make her heartbeat so fast with only simple words was something she’d never understand. All she knew is that they were perfect for each other… and now that she was her own person, an angel, and his fiancé, life couldn’t get any better… Emiko knew that. Until, at least, they actually were a married couple.

Josh smiled as she said yes and hugged him before quickly letting him go. He still gripped he hand to let the ring go onto her finger fitting too perfectly. Her eyes were stretched, love filled with it and Josh lifted his hand to stroke her arm. "I love you." He said

Emiko smiled at him, lacing her fingers through his quite willingly. She stared at him a moment before letting the smile fade, but only in the slightest bit. "You know," she said, moving so she was closer to her, and she rested her head on his shoulder, "I never thought I'd ever find happiness. With Captor, I was nothing but a captive. And then you came along." Emiko kissed his cheek softly, letting out a sigh and curling up into his embrace, her fingers still wrapped around his. "This is the best day of my life," she whispered softly.

Josh smiles when she's in his warm embrace. Her touch brought him back to their world that was so perfect. The love of never-ending filled the air with happiness that he could almost touch it with his fingertip. He wrapped his arms around her and inhaled her scent, and touched her like he'd never seen her again. When her lips brushed his cheek he smiled, hearing the comment that sent his heart soaring. "I am gonna make it the best years of your life." He whispered in her ear. "I promise I'll be the best you'll ever see. The kids will be as perfect and I can't wait to have them." He could stay like this forever, wrapped in her arms for the rest of his life. And he would. But they had a great future ahead of them.

Emiko smiled and closed her eyes, nuzzling his neck gently. She listened to his words carefully, hanging onto each one as he spoke them. When he mentioned children, a smile crept upon her lips. So, soon they’d be promised to each other for life. And despite how long a lifetime was, Emiko knew they’d be eternally happy with each other. “Mmm,” she murmured, suddenly feeling drowsy. “I know our life will be perfect. We’ll have the perfect family and the perfect house and everything…” Emiko felt herself drifting into a deep sleep, and she curled up into him, allowing herself to slip into the peaceful sleep in his arms.

Josh smelt her sweet aroma, tangling his hands in her soft hair and whispering nothings in her ear. Suddenly, her breathings became soft and he felt the beat of her heart slow. He knew she was probably sleep now. Getting up with her in his arms, he set her down to sleep and lied down beside her, stroking her hair. He looked out at the darkened sky. This was a easy day and he was glad for it.

Emiko vaguely was aware of Josh moving her in her sleep, but soon dreams enveloped her mind just as she felt his warm body beside hers. Her mind was filled with sweet thoughts of Josh…their future, their kids, and their first kiss. Though it hadn’t been in the most appealing place in the world, Emiko knew she’d treasure that moment forever, no matter how weird it seemed. They were the best dreams she’d ever had. She just wished now that dreams didn’t disappear when you woke up.

Emiko was awoken by the first sunrays shining on her face. She was facing Josh, and she had curled herself up against his body. It was warm and comfortable, and she would’ve been exceptionally pleased with simply going back to sleep. He looked peaceful when he slept… like nothing in the world could ever bother him. Emiko slid silently out the bed and left the room, searching the house for good breakfast foods before finding what she wanted, and started to prepare a breakfast for Josh and herself.

Josh soon awoke to the sunlight which shone brightly through the glass window. A sweet food aroma forced up his nostrils. And Emiko wasn't there. With a smile, he made his way out of the guest room and to the kitched where Emiko was, cooking their breakfast. He smiled warmly. "I'll go check on our horses." He said to her and walked outside to find the mare and stallion. He whistled loudly and waited for them to come.

Emiko’s neko ears flicked backwards as she heard gentle footfalls, and she turned and smiled at Josh, “Good morning, love,” she said, then nodded when he said he’d go check on the horses. She hoped that Eagle was getting along well with Spirit. She was usually a stuck-up sort of mare, and Emiko had an uncanny resemblance in personality to her mare. Maybe that was one of the reasons they got along so well together.

Eagle looked up and saw Josh, then snorted and tossed her head angrily, nipping Spirit on the rump before trotting over to the angel and chewing softly on his hair.

Josh watched as Eagle went up to him and chewed his hair he smiled and pulled her away. "Hey girl." he laughed and pet her mane and watched as Spirit walked up and nipped hard on Eagle's rump. "Hey no Spirit." he said and petted him as well. "Are you both getting along?" He looked from Eagle to Spirit then back again and turned. "Well make sure you do because me and Emi is getting married." He didn't know exatcly if they understood but he hoped.
He felt like the whole members should know.

Eagle snorted, and when Spirit nipped her rump, she lashed out and yanked on his mane before flicking her tail and taking a step away from him. When Josh asked if they were 'getting along' Eagle grunted and turned around, nipping Spirit's lower hind leg before going back to the middle of the backyard, ears flickered towards Josh as he continued talking and she started grazing. When he said something about Emiko getting married, Eagle's head shot up and she reared in protest, cantering over to Josh and trying to get into the house.

When she tried getting in the house he laughed and moved in her way patting her heacd. "No girl." he murmured and grabbed her muzzle, forcing her to look in his eyes. "Be happy for us, gal. She loves me, I love her that's all that matters." He murmured and kissed her muzzle. "I know its new but your going to be happy especially with our children. Here, if you wanna talk to Emi here..." he opened the door and called out to her. "Emi! Come here."

Eagle frowned and pawed at the ground, flicking her tail and pinning her ears momentarily, prancing lightly on her feet until Josh grabbed her head, keeping her in place. Eagle didn’t like him keeping her there like that, but his grip was stronger than she’d like to admit. Eagle whinnied lightly when he kissed her muzzle and pulled her head away from his hands. Eagle didn’t fancy children, so she snorted angrily when he mentioned them. Emiko heard Josh call her and she looked up, placing the breakfast on the table. She walked over to Josh and smiled at Eagle as the mare pressed her head against Emiko’s chest. Emiko smiled and patted Eagle’s forelock. “Breakfast is ready, Josh,” Emiko said, rubbing Eagle’s cheek lovingly. “What’s up with her?”

Josh sighed and looked at her, whispering to Emiko. "Problems with us being together." she murmured and left, going into the house then sitting at the dining table. "Beautiful buffet, Emi!" he called with a smile and started to eat. The food with fantastic but he was still worried about Eagle and how she would react.

Eagle snorted at Josh as he left. Emiko frowned and pet Eagle’s snout, “It’s okay, girl. You know I’ve always wanted a family of my own. Why don’t you go on and spend time with Spirit?” Emiko gently pushed Eagle back and walked back into the house, shutting the door behind her. She walked into the room and smiled at his comment, “Thanks. I haven’t cooked much, but you’re worth it.” Emiko kissed his cheek gently and sat down beside him, filling her own plate with the breakfast food on the table. “About Eagle…” Emiko frowned slightly, “She’ll get used to the idea. For now it’s best to just leave and let be.”

Josh looked up when she went up and brushed her lips against his cheek. When she told about Eagle he nodded and shifted under his seat. "It's fine." he said colly. He wished the horse would like him, but she guessed he didn't sighing, he looked down at his half-eaten food and licked his lips. "This was great Emi." he murmured and took his plate to the sink and washed it off looking back and sitting down. "What would you like to do today?" he asked and waited for her answer. He thought about what they should do. Maybe a walk in the park? A walk around town? He didn't know but he'd do anything for her and take her anywhere... even if it was expensive.

Emiko nodded and finished her food, moving to the sink and washing it off as Josh asked her what she’d like to do that day. Her mind was virtually blank, except for one idea she thought would be particularly romantic for the two of them. She knew if she asked Eagle to leave them be, the mare would. After all, Emiko had reared Eagle from a filly, and the mare owed Emiko so much it’d take two lifetimes to fulfill it all. There was a lake nearby here, surrounded by some oak trees and willows. She’d found it a while back. Turning back to Josh, she took her seat, “We could go horseback-riding to this lake not too far from here. I know Eagle will leave us alone if I ask her to. We could go swimming or just relax. It’s a really peaceful place.” Emiko smiled and rubbed his hand gently.

When she gave a suggestion. Josh realized he instantly liked it a lot. He rubbed her hand in return and gave a small smile. "Okay you can go get a shower then I'll go in right after you." he murured and sat down upon the couch waiting for Emiko to get done taking her shower. He looked back at her and just studied her features... and read her personality. Bright and happy. And just knew instantly that this day was gonna be perfect and worth it.

Emiko nodded and pressed a gentle kiss on his lips (what? She couldn’t help it!) before nodding, “A shower sounds nice. I won’t be long.” Emiko smiled and walked into the bathroom, turning the water on before stripping herself of her Indian-styled dress and stepping into the warm water. It felt nice.

About twenty minutes later, Emiko got out of the shower and wrapped a towel around herself, staring at her dress. It was probably dirty. She’d have to ask Josh for some
new clothes. Pulling the towel closer around her, she stepped out of the bathroom and down the hallway. “Josh? Do you have some extra clothes? Just like a t-shirt and pants?”

Josh, about 20 minutes later, heard Emiko's voice from upstairs. He bolted upstairs right away and looked at her to see her wrapped around in a towel. He turned away and blushed slightly then when his room looking around. He didn't exatcly have anything. Finally, he found something his sister left when she came here and turned giving it to her. "This is my sisters otufit. See if you can fit it. I won't look." He covered his eyes and waited for her.
