Unfortunately Eagle wasn’t about to be beaten by the stud, and she lengthened her strides so her muzzle was always a few inches in front of his. Emiko took wary glances behind them, wishing they could just magically appear at his homeland right then. Eagle snorted and tossed her head, enjoying the feeling of running again, something she hadn’t done in a long while, seeing as she’d been “keeping order” of the horses back in the village. Emiko frowned, “How long will it take? I’m not sure the villagers will be dissuaded to follow us. Knowing their tactics, if they find our location they’ll buffer and surround…” Emiko’s voice grew wary suddenly, and she took another glance over her shoulder.

Josh thought for a moment... thinking. He looked behind his back and then looked at her. "Maybe we just could do fasted speed there? Just focus on speed and it will give both the horses lightened speed and they exacly where they were going... the reason didn't mention it; is because when you first do it, it gives you nausea." he says drawing in a sharp breath. "Would you like to do it?" He hoped so but also not. She already was lightheaded.. giving her nausea ontop of that would be worse.

Emiko looked over at him and listened to him intently, turning back to Eagle. She knew Eagle’s balance would keep her on her back no matter what, but with already being lightheaded, Emiko was afraid she’d end up passing out, and then what? She knew the only way to successfully complete that was probably if they shared the same horse, but Emiko wasn’t about to let Eagle go and get captured by the villagers. “I don’t know,” Emiko said nervously, “But we have to try it.” Emiko looked back and smiled at him weakly.

Josh nodded and had them close. He sent a silent prayer then suddenly, below them the horses threw him almost off guard and he had to grab on the mane. Almost as quick as lightening they were out going over a mountain and stopping at a small house. It stopped and Josh breathed heavily, instantly Josh pulled himself from the horse and walked over to Emiko and pulling him off to pull her in his arms. "Were safe now." he murmured, kissing her head. "Would you like to sleep?" he asked. "I have a bed. Then, after your nap, we can go to my Clan." he promised.

As the horses sped forward, Emiko could feel her head swimming, and as soon as the horses stopped, Emiko felt incredibly woozy. She was glad that Josh helped her down; otherwise she knew she probably would’ve face-planted. She rested her head on his shoulder and nodded, closing her eyes and taking in a deep sigh. “That sounds good,” she murmured, wrapping her arms around his waist. “Mmm, we did it.” She whispered.

Josh smiled when she leaned into him and he pulled strands of hair from her face while he pulled her close. "Yes and you were very brave." he murmured before taking her inside his small cottage and leading her into a guest room and lying her down a very comfortable bed. He looked and sat next to her. "Have a good nap, Emiko. You work so hard, and I know that the nausea and lightheadedness will wear sooner or later." he said then patted her hip. "I'm gonna let them go into the backyard." he hoped she knew he meant the horses. He walked out silently shutting the door and leading both Spirit and Eagle out in the back with large open fields. "Okay Spirit, you be good to her and Eagle you be good to him." He gave her a hard stare before walking back into his cottage and lying back, wanting to join Emiko but not wanting her to feel uncomfortable.

Emiko nodded and smiled as he lay her down on the bed, but she silently wished that he would stay and lay down with her, but she was too tired and lightheaded to form words that would make any sense to him. Instead, she was forced to give him a light nod and turned onto her side, eyeing him until he left the room before sighing, “Lonely.” Emiko grimaced but got herself situated, and by the time her eyes closed the second time, she was out like a light.

Eagle snorted at Josh and pulled the back of his shirt when he turned around before prancing back to the farthest corner of the yard, giving both the stallion and Josh the cold shoulder. She only liked Emiko, and didn’t see that changing anytime soon.

Josh soon crashed on the couch, falling asleep. He dreamed of the journey that he secretly enjoyed. He loved Emiko so even if he played it a thousand times in his head. Even is she was a neko. It gave her super extra hearing which they needed. She was actually very powerful and he believed if she wasn't really submissive, she would be a perfect wife. Though he didn't care much.

Spirit growled and turned away from her not looking back. This mare was so ironic in stubborn. He realized he had to be calm and turned back, snorting and bumping his head to her back then going over and grooming her withers.

By the time Emiko woke up, the sun had already set. They would be safe during nighttime. Clan members hated being out in the dark, it often attracted the dead to them, and even though they worshiped the dead (as well as the devil), they felt being followed around while trying to find something was a nuisance. Swinging her legs off of the bed she ran a hand through her hair and got to her feet. She felt a lot better now. Emiko got off the bed and opened the door, looking around until she found Josh. She smiled. He looked peaceful. She hoped, soon enough, they would be able to sleep together. Emiko brushed some hair out of his eyes before silently moving on, exploring the small house.

Eagle had heard his hoof-steps before he’d nudged her rump. She snorted and pinned her ears, swinging her head around to look at him with an obviously annoyed look on her face. When he started grooming her withers, her ears perked forward a little. Eagle nickered softly before moving slightly so she could groom his withers and back.

Josh awoke soon, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. Getting up off the couch he saw the door only halfway open the the guest room, and looked inside to see that Emiko was gone. He smiled slightly and heard some footsteps heading up the small steps. Slowly walking upstaris he met her at the corner and went slowly, stalking her. Hoping she didn't catch his scent by how strong her senses is. But before she had the chance if she didn't, he jumped behind her and grabbed her by her waist with a laugh and spun her around. "Have a nice nap?" he asked and let her go.

Spririt felt her groom him in return. He whinnied thankfully, telling her it was okay to open up to others since she seemed so scared to before. Pulling away, he bobbed his head, nickering for her and ran across the open feilds, bobbing his head and whinnying joyfully for he was gonna show this mare to have fun.

Emiko jumped slightly when she felt arms wrap around her waist, but once she heard the laugh, a smile spread across her lips and she let out a joyful laugh of her own. Emiko gave him a quick hug before he let her go, and she smiled at him in a loving and caring manner, “I did, actually,” she said, “Looked like you feel asleep yourself. Did you enjoy your nap?” Emiko looked at him, unable to keep the thoughts and feelings of happiness from her. It was amazing what he’d done to her. She felt happier than she ever had in her entire life. And she never wanted that to change. Soon enough they would be able to spend eternity forever. And then…well, then, only time could tell what would happen.

Eagle snorted and rolled her eyes. She pulled her head away when he nickered and galloped away. Tilting her head, Eagle watched him bob his head and run across the smallish enclosure, wondering if there was something wrong with him. Eagle snorted again and shook her mane, mentally shrugging before rearing up and going into an easy canter towards him, stopping short and spraying dust up onto his face and shoulders before turning, tail flagged, neighing triumphantly.

[font=Georgia]Josh smiled when she joined in and continued to when she gave her a hug, he rubbed her back and let her aroma welcome him. When she asked him if he had a nice nap. His grin became wider and he nodded. "Yes it was quite comfortable." he replied and headed downstairs, turning his head before he did. "It's time for you to meet my Clan." As he went outside, the stars started to twinkle in the night sky. It was a beautiful night and he let the nice air overwhelm him.

When she kicked dirt and dust at him, just making his coat mucky once more he snorted and turned lifting off his forehooves and landed making the ground shake like thunder as he whinnied and ran trampling her and pinning her playfully, not to where she got hurt. He bobbed his head truimphantly with a smile

Emiko smiled, and really wanted nothing more than to plant a gentle kiss on his lips, but he had already moved down the stairs. Smiling and deciding she’d live if she had to wait, she trotted gently down the stairs until she was by his side in the cool night air. A night ride? Sounded dangerous, but she knew her clan wouldn’t be stupid enough to ride at night, for reasons told prior. Emiko looked around and rested her head on his shoulder, “I can’t believe it’s almost time.” Emiko smiled happily, her heart lifting with joy.

Eagle snorted and got to her feet afterwards, shaking herself off and whickering sweetly to him before lowering her muzzle and taking up a mouthful of the sweet, rich grass. She pawed the ground momentarily and walked over to Spirit, grooming his withers, shoulders, and mane, to get rid of the dirt she’d sprayed on him moments before. What? It was the least she could do.

[font=Georgia]Josh smiled. "It is." he said and spread out his wings before flying off. Soon, the gates of heaven opened before them and he opened the doors. He looked around before going inside. As he went to his Clan's territory people surrounded him. "What happened?"
"You were gone forever."
"We thought you were dead!"
Josh sighed heavily and flapped his wings, summoning everybody back. "I want you to meet someone." he says. "Emiko... show yourself." Everyone moved to look for the new angel.ont]

Emiko nodded and followed behind him at a distance, suddenly feeling rather nervous about this whole thing. She would go through with it, yes, of course. She was excited to leave behind her the world she used to live in; the world that had been a living hell for her—no pun intended. She landed a bit behind him, looking around, feeling rather intimidated suddenly. Once Josh told her to show herself, Emiko hesitated a moment before stepping forward to stand by Josh’s side, and she looked around at everybody else, suddenly awestruck about the beauty that was surrounding her. The people, the scenery… Everything. It was a huge difference from her homeland.

People gasped as she showed herself, speaking quiet compliments to one another. Josh cleared his throat and everyone got quiet and he smiled, walking up to Emiko and twining his hands in hers and looking her lovingly in the eyes before saying, "I fell in love with her." Some girls sobbed happily and some congratulated him. He nodded and let go of Emiko's hands and turned. "She will be with us from now on!" People nodded, accepting her quickly and Josh was a little surprised but was really glad they did. It was that easy. "Oh your gonna have the perfect wedding Emiko," a girl, long black hair gasped and walked to her studying the young and new angel in front of her. "And you have the right kind of man. He'll treat you well... and he's an angel."[i]

Emiko was relieved people accepted her so readily. Perhaps she was born to be here. Either way, it was coming through now. Everybody was congratulating either her (mostly Josh) and smiles were plastered on everybody’s faces. Emiko turned her attention to the raven-haired girl and was a bit surprised when the first thing she said wasn’t a simple “hello” or “welcome.” Instead, it was something about a wedding. Emiko couldn’t keep a smile off of her face as she stole a glance at Josh, then turned back to the girl in front of her. At her comment about Josh treating her right, Emiko’s heart lifted and she said, “I have no doubt about that.” Emiko looked around again, wondering how all the people here were so friendly. It seemed amazing. She felt right at home. Especially with Josh beside her.

The girl turned to Josh which had a smile plastered to his face, greeting everyone. His eyes turned to meet Emiko's, irises meeting the most beautiful eyes he'd laien eyes on. He went over, and went beside the raven haired girl. She had the same black hair as him and green eyes. She looked at Josh. "Oh hey Josh I was just telling her how lucky she was to have such a great person in her life." she said and then she looked surprised. "Oh, oh. Hi I'm Lucia but you can call me Luce." she said. "I am Josh's sister." she said looking at Josh who seemed still happy

Emiko was interested in it when Josh turned and walked over to the black-haired girl. They had an uncanny resemblance to one another… When the girl (Lucia) mentioned she was Josh’s sister, it clicked. No wonder they had looked so similar! Emiko smiled, feeling happier than she ever had in her entire life. “Nice to meet you,” Emiko said, looking from one sibling to the other, her heart skipping a beat when she looked at Josh. It was finally happened. “I’m Emiko. If you want, you can call me Emi.” Emiko shrugged and said a quick hello to another angel who walked past and greeted her in a friendly manner. Emiko let out a contented sigh.

Luce nodded slowly, studying the girl one more time. "Okay. I'll give you two some alone time." she said clicking her tounge and then waving to Emiko. "Bye Emi, nice to meet you." she said and strided away. She cleared her throat to make her voice be heard over the small conversations of the Clan. "Okay come on give them some alone time." They wandered more in the bright nicely cut meadow and Josh silently thanked her before turning back to Emiko, meeting her hands, and having them palm-to-palm. He raised an eyebrow. "So... what you think. Is it everything you thought it was or better?" he asked. He could tell it was one of those because the grin that was plastered on her face.

Emiko waved, “I’ll talk to you later!” Emiko then turned to Josh when he put his hands against hers, and she laced her fingers through his. She remained quiet for a moment, then nodded, “It’s more than I thought it would be. Everybody’s so nice… I already love it here.” Emiko untwined her fingers from his and wrapped her arms around her waist, resting her chin on his chest. “And it’s even better that I get to spend it with you. Looks like our dream is going to come true after all.” Emiko couldn’t take the smile off of her face. She was so happy now… She had a feeling in the pit of her stomach that this happiness would never leave her. And…and she found that she didn’t want it to leave. She was perfectly fine with it staying with her for the rest of her life. And Lucia had already talked about marriage. Emiko didn’t think this could get any better.

Josh nodded, glad that her smile would never leave her face. He loved seeing that beautiful smile, and hoped that he could make it last forever. Staring into those twinkling eyes, he finally leaned down and his lips brushed hers softly and then he leaned down again before kissing her. She was alone... they were alone. They were not in trouble. This was their time. And for all he cared, they could use it kissing and getting to know each other better. They could use it talking about their future... they could use it on talking about memories.

Emiko searched his eyes, wondering silently to himself what he was thinking about. It was obvious that he was happy, too. After all, they had each other to hold for the rest of eternity. Before Emiko could speak again (not that she wanted to; she was perfectly content just being there in his embrace), Josh leaned down and pressed his lips delicately against hers. She was glad the others had left now. They could enjoy each others company like this. Allowing her eyes to flutter closed, Emiko returned the kiss, placing one of her hands on his cheek deftly, suddenly wondering what they’re future would hold in store. It was a new chapter of her life. She never wanted it to end.

The kiss was long, sweet and gentle lasting several minutes or so. It was romantic, not too serious. It was longing and loving. He gently pressed her body to his after the kiss and rocked her back and forth. He looked into their background with a long and happy sigh. "What would you like to talk about, dear?" he asked, kissing her gently still in a embrace. He'd enjoyed that kiss, but didn't want anything too serious... yet. He bet that she wanted the same; to plan the future and see if it ended as they wanted it or turned out better. He waited for her to speak.

Emiko was pleased with the kiss they had shared. It’d lasted just long enough, but it wasn’t overly passionate or anything too suggestive. They weren’t married yet, after all, and Emiko didn’t want them getting in over their heads. Maybe after they were married. When Josh kissed her one last time before pulling her into a gentle embrace, rocking her back and forth, and asked her what she’d like to talk about, she frowned a moment, thinking. There were plenty of things that the pair of them could talk about. But… there was one thing that was present in her mind, so she spoke up: “What about our future?”
