Never Alone. (Shiori) - Page 2 Empty Re: Never Alone. (Shiori)

Eric frowned when he didn't get a reply from Leah, for a few minutes. Opening his phone, he checked his inbox several times, with no luck. Dropping it into his pocket, he shifted his bag and glanced over to where Mark was sitting, watching him with dark, intent eyes. Eric made his way over to him, and slumped down on the chair, the cold metal pressing against his back.
"I dont know if I'll be back tonight. I'm going out to meet up with Leah. Either way, I'm not going to go to far." Eric gave Mark a half hearted shrug, and was met with a tired, yet friendly smile. "Yes Eric. But you guys, please be careful." Mark shook his head, staring past Eric and at the black white wall that was behind him. He seemed distant and throughful, and Eric quickly nodded. Pushing himself off of the chair once again, Mark also stood up and squeezed Eric shoulder with a strong grip. Giving him a halfhearted grin, Eric turned away from his old friend and began to make his way towards the door. The crowd of people had grown smaller, as many of them had left the chuch to go out to the city for the day. They usually returned at night, knowing the church was the only place they would be safe and warm. Eric placed his hand on the metal handle of the door, before pushing it open with his shoulder and twisting the handle. He stepped outside, and was greeted with a crisp breeze that nipped at his cheeks and nose. Zipping the sweat shirt up, he thrust his hands into his pockets and suddenly felt his phone vibrate. Clasping the device in his fingers, he smiled and flipped it open. When he read the text message, he felt his heart sink down, somewhere near his stomach.

Leah, where are you! Tell me now, I'm going to come pick you up. Stay where you are.

By the time Eric had responded, Leah had been ushered into a small and musky bar. The bartender had eyed her greedily as Matthew shoved her up a narrow stairway, and into a foul-smelling room that made Leah’s eyes water the moment the air hit her. Matthew had shoved her onto a hard bed, and cuffed her wrists to the headboard, flipping out the cell phone and chuckling.
“Your boyfriend seems to be curious as to your whereabouts,” Matthew sneered, quickly texting a reply,
She’s nowhere of your concern.
Leah’s wrists were hurting from the rusty old cuffs, and she kicked her feet angrily, “Let me go!” she screeched.

Eric slammed his fist into the hard wood of the door, cringing as he heard his knuckles crack gruesomely. Drawing his shaking hand away, his knuckes were bloodied and raw, his hand searing with a hot and steady pain. Eric merley gazed at it with dark eyes, before he ran his other hand through his hair.
"Shit!" He couldn't move his fingers without excruciating pain, and felt tears starting to come to his eyes in mere desperation. Setting his jaw harshly, she squeezed his eyes closed and tried not to focus on the throbbing, terrible pain that was emitting from his mangled hand. He knew he had broken something, as two of his fingers were sitting at an odd angle.
Swearing multiple times under his breath, he jumped as his cell phone buzzed in his pocket. Holding his twisted hand in front of him, he pulled it out and stared at the screen. His face paled the moment he read the text, and he had a good mind to hurl the phone onto the concrete sidewalk and smash it all to bits. His fingers trembled as he tried to think of a suitable reply, but none came to mind. Nothing sounded like it was within his grasp, within hope. There was no way he could find Leah, not when she was in the hands of someone who was obviously not on his side.
Balancing his open phone on his thy, he propped his foot up in order to be able to type with his good hand. Pressing the buttons one by one, he managed to ask one simple question. His heart was pounding in his chest, and he felt like he was about to fall over and faint, from lack of sleep and the raw truth of what had just happened.

Matthew grimaced, having just torn Leah’s shirt off, when her phone buzzed again.
“Would he just leave us be? I’m going to turn your phone off,” Matthew sneered and picked up the cell phone, texting back,
Leah’s captor—who else?
Matthew tossed the cell to the side and chuckled, moving back over to Leah, tossing her shirt farther off to the side and staring at her hungrily.
“Get off me, you disgusting bastard!” Leah snapped, kicking him in the groin, but it didn’t have much effect on him, and she was only rewarded with a sharp smack on the cheek.

Eric gazed at his hand, the blood still oozing out of the open wounds. It had formed a small pool on the ground below him, his whole hand bright red with the blood. His finger was twisted terribly, but he had now come to ignore the searing pain that was radiating from the broken, or dislocated bone. Even when his phone vibrated, he didn't move. He didn't blink. Heck, he wasn't even sure if he even breathed. Standing still, only his hair was tossed about by the breeze. There was no emotion on his face. No sadness, no worry, no fear. Nothing that could give away what was raging inside of him. Nothing that was able to show others how he felt. Nothing... Perhaps it was a fault, perhaps it wasn't. Either way, he didn't know what to do, didn't know how to act.
This was all his fault. He had lost Leah again, and now he didn't believe he would ever see her again. Ever. It was hopeless to think about where she would be, it was hopeless to ever believe he could find her.
He finally stirred, taking in a long, shuddering breath. He really hadn't been breathing, as he just now realized his lungs were burning and screaming for air. Moving his hand down to the phone, he raised it and glanced at the text. The words that he read struck fear into his heart, a fear so unimaginatable that he didn't think he could ever move again.

Where is she.

Leah felt a fear welling up inside of her, as Matthew’s hands wandered greedily. A few minutes later, her phone buzzed again; just as Matthew had leaned down to press his lips harshly against hers.
“Fine, let’s lead him on a cat-and-mouse chase,” Matthew grimaced, getting up. Leah let go of a breath she didn’t know she’d been holding. She was shaking uncontrollably as she watched Matthew with a rage and fear unmatched.
Well, if you’re so worried, why don’t you come and find her? I’m turning off the phone now, so you won’t interrupt us again.
Leah tugged anxiously on the chains, “LET ME GO!” Leah yelled.
“Shh, dear, you’ll disrupt the others,” Matthew chuckeld.

[ O3o maybe eric could GPS-locate Leah by her phone? ]

Eric cursed loudly, screaming out the words. His actions drew the attention of several people who were walking by, who quickly moved to the other side of the street. They looked at him like he was mad, or insane. Eric didn't know, maybe he was. Maybe this whole thing, situations like these were driving him over the edge?
He took the phone in his fingers once again, reading the text over and over. The words sank into his mind, and he closed his eyes. Leaning his head against the door, he moaned softly at the splitting pain that was radiating from his hand, and now his head. A throbbing headache was threatening to take over, and he tried to push the pain aside so he could think clearly. Then, an idea came to mind. His face lit up with the thought, and he took the small phone in his trembling fingers.
His phone wasn't all that cheap, and had decent features to it. Using the touch screen, he gingerly searched for the app that he hoped and prayed would be useful.

What!? Leave her alone!

Leah whined slightly and yanked on the chains around her wrists even harder, causing them to cut into her wrists with their harsh rusty surface. “Get—” Leah’s eyes widened as Matthew pressed his lips against hers, his other hand reaching around to undo the bra-strap. Leah did the next best thing: she kneed him in the crotch. She let out a sigh of relief when he pulled back, cursing loudly, bent over. Leah pulled herself up by her arms, so she was in a sitting position, and brought her legs up close to her, curling into the best fetal position she could manage. She wasn’t about to let Matthew get his filthy hands anywhere else on her. She wondered where Eric was. She hoped that he wouldn’t worry to much, much less hurt himself in the process of trying to find her.

Waiting for the app to finish downloading, Eric waited impatiently. He had no idea if it would help at all, but it seemed to be the best option at the moment. Shaking his head, he almost lost his breath at he stared at the screen, before the app fell into place. He quickly entered Leah's new phone number, after checking the few text messages that he had recieved from her phone. When he re-read the messages, his heart gave a painful throb, and he nearly dropped the device. Shaking his head, he drew in a deep breath and concentrated, staring at the screen. Within a few moments, his phone was able to find the signal from Leah's phone. His breath caught in his throat, his heart starting to beat faster and faster.
A few moments passed, before Eric got the location. His mangled hand was starting to throb, and he ignored the pain in an attempt to focus and think properly. He started running down the sidewalk, keeping the phone held out infront of him as he tried to figure where the signal was coming from, what part of the city.

Matthew stared at her angrily after he recovered from his kick in the crotch. Leah rolled her shoulders to keep the bra up, staring back at her with her own unwavering gaze. If he knew she was afraid, she knew he’d only use it to his advantage.
“Get over here,” he snarled, grabbing her leg and pulling it out, forcing her back into a submissive position, where she was laying down, and tore the rest of her top clothing from her, chuckling menacingly.
“Why the hell are you doing this,” Leah said angrily, trying to bring her knee up to knee him in the crotch again. Hopefully it’d get her more time to find a way out of here, or at least to somehow escape from the chains, which were already making her wrists bleed, getting rust in the cuts. It stung like crazy, but Leah kept a straight face, even though there were tears welling up behind her eyes.

Unfortunatly, the app didn't give Eric precise directions. It was giving off a slight signal from where Leah's phone was located, but that was all. Eric swallowed, his face pale. His wounded hand was stuffed in his pocket, and he couldn't help but wince each time it was slightly jarred. The pain that was radiating from his hand was more than Eric ever thought was imaginable. It made his vision swim, and he almost vomited on more than one ocassion.
When Leah was safe, he would see a doctor. Untill that happened, he wouldn't do anything else but find her.
Suddenly, a heavy hand on Eric's shoulder made him stiffen and stop walking, whirling around. He drew back his good hand to punch whoever it was, but as he swung at the figure, his fist was caught, twisted to the side in a painful manner.

[ okeedokes. So are yew going to be Matthew for a while? His name shall be… BLAKE! ]

The chocolate-haired man stared at the younger man he’d just caught, his fist in his own fist. “Ah,” he said in a gruff voice, “You must be the one that was giving Matthew such a hard time with your precious doll.” Blake stared at him and twisted his wrist, suddenly pulling it around to put the boy’s arm against his chest. “Let’s go, boy,” he snapped, “I’m pretty sure Matthew had something he wanted you to see…”

Eric's eyes widened slightly as the man started to speak, spitting out the words like they were poison to his mouth. Trying to twist away, the man twisted his wrist even farther, threatening to break it if he dared move again. Eric's other hand was useless, and he couldn't hardly pull it out of his pocket. His phone had clattered onto the concrete sidewalk below, and the screen was cracked. The information was blurry and useless now, and Eric turned his dark eyes back up to the man's face.
"Damn it, let me go! Where's Leah!"

Matthew grasped Leah's wrists, pushing them farther onto the cuffs. His knees were positioned ontop of her thighs, making her kicks useless. Eyes hard, he grinned and shook his head. His dark chocolate hair fell into his eyes, and he leaned down, pressing his lips roughly against her own.

Leah shook her head, “Please!” she whimpered, wishing she had at least a blanket to cover her torso. Before she knew it, Matthew’s mouth was pressed harshly against hers, his arms pushing her wrists further into the cuffs, only adding scrapes to her wrists, and she let tears trickle down as she felt the hot blood run down her arms.
Blake shook his head, “Ah, well, you’ll be seeing her in a few moments, you will,” Blake said harshly, shoving Eric towards the small bar that was hidden away amongst the alleyways. “S’posed to cuff you, yourself, though,” Blake snarled, “But it looks like you’re not going to need it, with that hand of yours.”

Matthew ignored her plea, his hands starting to work over her body lustfully. He eagerly unsnapped her bra, nearly tearing it off of her, before a sudden noise made his head snap up. Staring harshly at the door, the noise settled down and he turned his head so he was gazing at Leah again. Her wrists were covered with blood, and he reached forward. Narrowing his eyes, he glared at her, then at the cuffs. "If I take them off, you'll be a good girl, wont you? Because I dont think you'll want Eric hurt now, would you?"
Eric grimaced with the pain, before the man shoved him forward. His phone was discarded to the side, and he tried to snag it with his foot as he moved past. He was quickly pushed away though, his hand starting to bleed once again and leaving a light crimzen trail on the concrete sidewalk below. "Where is LEAH!?"

Leah whimpered and watched him toss her bra to the side, and she squirmed uncomfortably. When he offered to take off the cuffs, her eyes lit up. Her heart stopped immediately when she heard him mention Eric. “What’d you do to him!” Leah screamed, wriggling uncomfortably, trying to get him off of her. “Don’t you dare hurt him!”
Blake stomped on the phone as he passed by it, grimacing, “Would you shut up!” He snarled through clenched teeth, twisting his arm even more against his back, shoving him through the doors of the bar, and pushing him towards the doors. “Let’s go. She’s right up the stairs, kid.”

(Matthew is sickening.)

Matthew looked over Leah's form hungrily, before grabbing her one arm in both of his hands. Narrowing his eyes, he leaned over her body and undid only one of her ams. Instead of keeping it cuffed, he twisted it behind her back and lowered himself atop her body, his lips inches from her own. Eyes hard and staring into hers, he let a errie smile touch his lips, before parting them to speak.
"Dont worry about him, He's coming to pay a little visit."

Eric winced as he heard the crunch of the phone, before he grunted in pain. His arm was gruesomly twisted, and he stumbled forward and past a doorframe, entering a small smokey building. Immedietly, eyes were cast his way, and he seethed in pain and fear. "Let me go yo-" His words were cut off as he was roughly slammed forward, his shoulder cracking against yet another doorframe. A tall staircase was the only thing past these doors, and he tripped on the first stair.

Leah was about to bring her first up to punch him, when he twisted her arm behind her back and she cried out momentarily. She felt another tear slip out from the corner of her eye, though it was unintended. She stared at him in horror when he said Eric was coming to ‘pay a visit.’ “Wait, no, no, no!” Leah begged.
Blake smirked at the bartender, “C’mon, right this way now, you lazy ass,” Blake said, picking Eric up by the scruff of his collar, dragging him up the stairs and knocking on the door where Matthew and Leah were. “Eh, boss, got the boy. ‘s okay for us to come in, right?” Blake said from the other side of the door. He knew all to well the price of interrupting Matthew when he was alone with a girl—the hard way. From that last experience, he’d gotten a scar across his cheek.

Matthew's grin became wider as Leah started to plead and cry, before a sharp knock startled him. He gave Leah a snarling smile, before he clambored off of her. She had tried to punch him, thus she was back in the cuffs. He brought her hand up and again secured the metal around her wrist, before turning towards the door. He left Leah's body uncovered, more for her own discomfort than anyone elses. He heard Blake's sharp voice, and nodded stiffly, his eyes narrowed. "Come in," He turned to Leah and snarled slightly, "With the boy."
Eric was dragged up the stairs, his hand jarred painfully. He bit his lower lip to keep from crying out, before he felt tasted blood and unclenched his jaw. He was held by the collar, and tried to throw an elbow into the mans gut, but the pain made him gasp outloud for a moment.

Leah shook her head vigorously; tears falling freely down her cheeks. Leah struggled against him when he moved her arm back into the cuff, leaving her without even a blanket on. “At least give me a blanket!” Leah pleaded.
Blake nodded gruffly, smirking at Eric. “Well, I can hear your little girlfriend in there. Want to see what’s going on?” Blake chuckled. He threw Eric over his shoulder, pressing his own shoulder against the door and opening it, smirking when he saw Leah, then turned to Matthew, “Looks like you caught a lively one this time. Haven’t seen one struggle enough to bleed before,” Blake snapped, “Where do you want me to put the boy?” Blake asked.

Matthew cruely grinned as Leah pleaded, but he didn't make any move to do any of her requests. Narrowning his eyes, his grin grew even wider when Blake shoved open the door, the struggling body of the boy slung over his shoulder. Eric's face was pale, his dark hair falling down over his eyes. He looked determined, his jaw set in place harshly. Matthew strode over, before stepping out of the way so both Eric and Blake had full view of Leah. He gestured to the wall, to where another set of police cuffs were hung and ready for use.
Eric grunted as he was slung over the man's shoulder, who shoved the door open and strode inside. Struggling harshly, Eric grunted in pain as his arm was finally let go, numb and useless for the moment. "Leah!" He gasped out, before drawing his eyes away from her bare figure.

Leah shook her head again, attempting to turn on her side so Eric couldn’t see her. “Matthew! Give me a blanket!” she hissed, though her words were somewhat garbled by the tears that were now uncontrollably pouring down her face. “Please…!” She closed her eyes, curling her knees up to her chest, as best as she could, to hide herself, her face burning with shame.
Blake chuckled, “A’ight, boss,” Blake said, his eyes glued to Leah’s body, only being torn away when he set Eric down and forcefully shoved his wrists into the cuffs. He moved himself out of the way, to let Eric see Leah. “There’s your girlfriend.” He said, winking at Leah, who wriggled uncomfortably.

As soon as Eric was thrown down onto the floor, he tried to scramble up, before his wrists were forced into the cuffs that were above his head. They were quickly secured, and Eric's eyes glittered with rage as the man's eyes were drawn to Leah's bare body. Eric had more sense than to dare look at her, and kept his eyes cast away, but continued to struggle. With a grunt of pain, he thrust his legs out and attempted to kick the man, hoping he would be able to.

Matthew chuckled at Leah's faining cries and pleas, and shook his head as she curled herself into the best position she could muster. He turned back to Blake, before he gave him a coy grin. "Do what you want with the boy, but dont kill him." He turned back to Leah, "I'll be back, sweetheart." He turned and strode out of the room, leaving Blake alone with Leah and Eric.

Leah shook her head, keeping her eyes firmly shut. Tears streamed silently down her face. She couldn’t bear the fact that Eric was forced to sit there, in plain site of her, in a state like this. It was humiliating. “God,” Leah muttered, curling herself up into a tighter ball.
Blake shrugged and watched Matthew leave, staring at Eric, who managed to kick his ankle. “Don’t do something you’ll regret, boy,” Blake snapped, kicking at Eric’s side. “I’m goin’ down to get a drink, y’all behave yourself up here—it’s not like there’s anything you can do.”

Eric gasped as the man's foot harshly kicked him in the side, and he doubled over in pain. His chest heaved, his mangled hand caught in the cuffs and throbbing with excruciating pain. As soon as Matthew left, he tried to take deep breath's, but found that it was impossible. Something restricted his breathing, forcing him to concentrate and take shallow, small breath's in order to get any oxegen at all. He looked up at the man, then made the mistake of turning his eyes onto Leah. She was hunched into most uncomfortable position, tears streaming out of her cheeks. Her shirt had been torn off of her body, and Eric automaticly grimaced as he turned his eyes away once more.
