Valarie poked a stick with the dirt, obiously digging through it. She stopped when a hole was deep and took off the shiny silver ring that seemed to be shinning ever so brightly and released it into the hole putting the dirt again with her hands and wiped it off. She got up, her beautiful white wedding dress, all matted with dirt. She looked up and started to walk again, trying not to fall in heels that she had to wear for the stupid wedding she was almost about to do before she almost killed him because she didn't want to.
Her and the guy, Monroe she had to marry, was her partner who she'd work with, who'd tried to impress her with jokes and things, hardly not thinking about work. Overprotecting her, then almost malested her. What an ass she thought drily. Her parents loved him, because he always people pleased them and was almost forced to marry him because he was one of the best assasian workers out there, and got the most money. Instantly, when she hurt him, slit his throat, she was arrested for trying to murder an innocent man, but she escaped. She was wanted, they looked for her while she hid. Valarie walked through the forest and looked over her shoulder a few times, making sure no one was coming.

Was it wrong? Perhaps. But if he was a woman (which was out of the picture,) and he had been forced to marry someone, he would have done the same thing. And though a prince, and though it was his duty to carry out these tasks, he still didn't see why she would have to be killed. Killed!? He sighed, resting his hands on the magestic white steeds neck. His fingers loosly curled around the reins, and his eyes were straight on the path in front of him. Behind him, there was a single file line of half a dozen warriors, which made him liable to have to carry out this job, whether it was right, or not. The smooth, quick walk of the horse was relaxing, but Casmir wasn't relaxed at all.

Valarie smiled half-heartly when she saw a small cave, big enough, for herself to fit through. "They won't be sure to find me," she murmured, used to the platted and cold mud on herself, she ducked under the small cave, and into there. It widended into a bigger cavern. She heard drip dropping of water and crystals shinning in the crack that was only faint. She looked at it. "Wow." she whispered. Her look, now serious in which she was amazed by this beautiful site. She looked over shoulder of hopes of no one finding her. She walked around through the forest, investigating the small crystals, and treasures. She wondered if anyone else discovered this place or she was the only one... hopefully she was. If that was true, that place would have probably have been upgraded. But nothing hardly was never good enough for Valarie.

"Shit!" she whispered, a sudden pain going through the bottom of her foot. Taking off her shoe and putting her foot over her other leg to get a better view, she saw big, good enough wound to hurt, in her foot. She gasped and pulled it out the edge smothered in her blood and she tossed it. She was now worried it had got infected it was huge enough. She moaned and sat there, looking around, eyes worried.

The sudden yapping of dogs caught Casmir's attention, snapping him back to reality. His horses head rose, muscles tightening, and the horse strained on the bit, trying to pull forward. Casmir expertly held him back, watching as the bloodhounds strained on there leashes. His party looked to him expectantly, and he nodded, looking tired and upset. "Release them." His words were quiet, but imedietly the hounds were released, springing into the forest, running and yapping, thier noses pressed to the ground, following her scent. The prince was forced to pursue, his horse expertly navigating his way through the underbrush, untill it became to thick. He swiftly dismounted, his booted feet landing on the ground with a soft thud, and raced after the dogs. He soon reached a large cave enterance, his soldiers following him and circling around it, the dogs barking and pawing furiously at the opening.

Valarie gasped as she heard the faint barking of hound dogs. "Damn!" It was a whisper. She tried getting up and winced quietly, collapsing back on the ground. Crawling deeper in she hide in the shadows, curling up around herself as a gust of wind found itself onto her body. Sitting here, she wished that she could be at home, curled in her bed as a little girl. She closed her eyes, inhaling her memories back to her seeing her mother singing quietly to her. She missed her parents... it wasn't their fault they hadn't seen the side of Monroe that Valarie had. She wished she could just explain to them how, but the guards tried to pull her away, so she had to run. For the first time in weeks, days, months, years... she started to cry, quietly.

Casmir easilly ducked into the dark cave, lighting a torch and holding it out in front of him. He saw the figure, huddled in the back of the cave, and he wished with all he had that he could just exit, and say she wasn't there. But he couldn't. Striding forward, his eyes locked on her, he neared her body and nudged her with the toe of his boot, not harshly, but enough to know that he meant buisness.
"Up." He commanded.

Valarie heard a voice... command. Lifting her head from her cupped hands she noticed a young man standing over her and saw, noticing it was Prince Casmir. Valarie felt like she didn't want to give up too easily, to take out her sword and cut his sword out. But that would be suisde. She could tell there were others out there blocking her passage way. She mumbled quietly under her breath and stood to her feet she slipped her shoe back on and looked at him, the tears still going down her cheeks, tickling them. She wiped them away, a weakness never before took over he stomach. She waited there, knowing she'd probably just been captured. She sighed and wiped a new tear that had appeared from her eyes.

Casmir swallowed, his face solom. He quickly took her by her arm, his grip deadly strong, and after slipping her sword away from her, led her out into the light. As they emerged, cheers erupted from the gathered, but the princes face didn't move. Solom and quiet, he held her hands behind her back and expertly tied them soldidly together. He tossed her sword to one of the soldiers, who caught it, and turned back to the girl. As he led her through the trees, he bent down his head, his lips inches from her ear.
"I'm sorry m'lady."

Valarie stayed quiet when his voice shook inches from her ear. She just shook, violently, tears no longer streaming down her face. As they went through the trees she leaned her back against his chest so no one would hear and whispered, "Damn your village." She leaned forward again. She looked forwards, moving slowly in her dress. It wasn't her fault! They just complained about everything, everything, everything. She worked her ass off everyday, and did everything she could with people, animals or anyrhing else that intreacted with their village that was dangerous, to keep them away with the poor villagers and the lazy prince... they reminded her of a princess... but with more and so much more power than just skin and bones.

Casmir shook his head, narrowing his eyes. "If I had my way, If I had a say in the matter, you would be free!" He hissed, before reaching his steed, who was pawing the ground anxiously. Swinging onto the horses back, he hauled her up in front of him, clasping his hands tightly around her waist while taking the reins in his hands. He didn't bother to check if the soldiers were following him, but he could hear that they were, all mounting there horses and following after the prince. Casmir kicked his horse into a steady canter, his deep brown hair whipping out behind him.

Valarie was hauled onto the steed and when she felt his hands around her waist. She wanted to push him off her, growling and hissing madly. Instead, she was tied up, unable to go anywhere. She clenched her teeth... she could just imagine how much torture she was going to receive just for almost stealing a man's life. Who gave a fuck? Some people who were at the wedding never liked or throught of assasians though they protected. They were deep religous people who never hardly believed in violence. She thought he was more of a Buddaist.

As they neared the castle gates, Casmir could hear the murmering of people. He mentally smacked himself. His stupid father! Of course, round up the whole kingdom to see him bringing back a prisoner!? Who he believed was innocent himself? Why was it her fault!? His thoughts screamed through his mind, and he tightned his grip around her waist. "Keep your head down. Ignore them." He advised, as the horse cantered through the gates, colorful banners whipping in the wind overhead, the hoofbeats continuing on as he urged the horse through the pathway.

Valarie felt his grip tighten around her and she mumbled under her breath and looked down, hearing the people muttered and murmuring. She lifted her eyes and saw people pointing and cheering silently. When one caught her attention, they shut up, fear and deadly looks in their eyes. She rolled hers. The hell of them! They were weaklings! She hated the town she had once loved. She kept her head down the rest of the way. She did fidget a few more times but that was all. She didn't any longer, for she was getting more and more comfortable, though uncomfortable all the same.

Murmurs and whispers rolled there way throught he crowds as the prince sped by, his face set and determined. To an onlooker, he looked like he was about to carry out justice, but to someone who knew him close, they could tell that he was troubled, angry, and confused. They soon reached the prison. A guard at the front of the gates grabbed the woman by the shoulders, roughly dragging her off of the white steed, who pranced nervously. "Watch it! She's not a sack you know!" Casmir cried, before he could help it. The guard looked confused, but quickly hurried her into the dark damp prison, and out of his sight.

Valarie was instantly threwn into the dungeon on nasty and sticky. She was thrown in roughly too. The soilder laughed, and his laugh faded as he walked out. Valarie whimpered silently and she looked at her cut, seeing it had around started to change colors and now, it hurt like crazy again she moaned and held onto it. It hurt like crazy! She was infected! She sighed and felt wet blood on her hands and looked at it, instantly putting it back on. As she put pressure on it, it hurted. Less.

Casmir was imedietly pulled away from the prisons entrance, his fathers soft, heavy hands on his shoulders. Pulling his son around, the king was wearing a huge smile.
"Well done son!" He praised, and imedietly Casmir shrugged the hands off, pushing himself away from the overdressed, plump man in front of him. Was that actually his father!? That pitiful, fat, and lazy man? Casmir glared at him and slowly shook his head, before turning and racing back to the castle.

Valarie moaned quietly. She got up and walked up to the bars, putting her hands around them, the cold hard metal touching her soft and bloody hands. She felt new tears come to her eyes, but she held them back not caring how much pain was in her foot. She'd probably been here for eternity, and she felt sick thinking about it. She sniffled, and whipped her tears away, unclamping her hands from the bars, and walking over to the middle of the cell and walked back and forth.
