Re: U n t o l d
Kulukath greedily ate the rest of his hares, and lifted his massive snout into the air and smelled blood (he thanked feline senses, they were just amazing). He used some of his newly garnered energy to camoflauge his wing to match his coat coloration and stalked around the bend, following the scent of the blood, still rather hungry. He crouched in the rocks not far from where he saw a goat, and he heard something else, but it was on the other side of the boulder, and he'd only be able to see it if he completely exposed himself. Growling very quietly, Kulukath crouched lower, his feline tail swinging back and forth, interested in what had been caught, and who had caught it. He knew he could easily steal it from whatever it was, but his curiosity of the arrow protruding from the goat led him to believe it was village hunters, who weren't very kind to snow leopards and would use every last arrow on them to make sure it died.

Re: U n t o l d
Castian placed a foot on top of the animals blood stained coat, and gripped the arrow, pulling it out swiftly and wiping the blood off on her breeches, quivering the arrow and leaning back over the animal, a sharp skinning knife in her grip. Deciding it was better to start the fire before she skinned the animal, she gathered kindling from around the area, thanks to a mighty tree that had decided to grow in the small amount of windblown soil, and started a small blaze. Soon, she would have to get actuall logs, but that wasn't a top priority at the moment, as there was still awhile before the fire would go out. Leaning over the goat, she took the razor edge of the knife and started to cut away, expertly saving the pelt and slowly peeling it off of the animal, the flesh still warm. Working quickly and carefully, she managed to skin away almost all of its side, before she raised her head, hearing a noise in the rocks.

Re: U n t o l d
Along with the camoflauge on his wing, Kulukath pressed it so tightly against his side that now it was barely visible. His stomach growled as he saw whoever-it-was preparing the meat, getting ready to roast it. But the hide was pretty much gone now, and that would make it a lot easier for him to eat.
Intentionally pressing his wing so tight against his body it looked just like regular fur, he jumped out into the open with a loud growl and bared his long, razor-sharp fangs, his claws splayed out in a deadly manner, kneading the dirt underneath them.
It took him a moment to realize who the person behind the killing was, and when he did, he unpinned his ears for a split second, then returned to his angry stance. He may not steal it anymore, but he didn't want her thinking that it was him.

Castian leaped backwards as a huge leopard leaped out of the saftey of the rocks, his long fangs flashing in the sunlight. For a split second she was tempted to think that it was the male, just trying to scare her, but she didn't see the trademark black wing on its back. Narrowing her eyes, she shook her head softly, not wanting to get hurt, but not wanting to loose her, or possibly thier, dinner.
She easily slid the bow from her back, notching it with an arrow, her keen eyes focused on the snarling beast. Yes, technically facing down a hungry leopard was suicide, but now in a grumpy, contrary mood, she didn't want to run. Pulling back the string and aiming the arrow at the beast, she knew she wouldn't let go unless she had too, and watched intently over the goat in front of her, her sharp senses focused.

Re: U n t o l d
Kulukath growled again, staring at the bow and arrow in her hand and advancing a few steps. As she shot the arrow, he growled loudly and gave a vicious roar, bounding a few steps further towards her and the food, pinning his ears tightly to the top of his head. His stomach growled loudly and he began to think he'd take this goat and catch her another one later. He stalked forward some more, taking it very warily like a real leopard would, hissing and spitting again, revealing his large fangs again. He wasn't going to attack her, because he only wanted the goat. He didn't want her to get hurt or killed, he was simply hungry. He was hoping he could chase her off with brute force, but at the moment it wasn't looking very bright, but he would give himself a fighting chance either way.

Re: U n t o l d
Castian narrowed her eyes as the beast leaped forward, but didnt budge, hunching her shoulders and getting ready to fire the arrow, though something in her gut told her she shouldnt. Then, at that moment her keen eyes caught sight of something odd lying on this animals back. It was the same color as its fur, but a different texture. And as the beast pounced, the wind ruffled it slightly, giving away what it was. A wing. That made Castian snort in laughter, falling back onto her behind and clasping her hands over her stomach, gesturing to the goat, all the while laughing.
"My my, cant you just ask!?" For some reason, she was finding this very funny, and she grinned to herself, looking away and putting away her bow.

Re: U n t o l d
Kulukath stopped dead in his tracks when she laughed, then pinned his wing tighter to his side, feeling rather foolish. His ears lolled to the side slightly and he sat up, shaking his head unlike any other snow leopard would do. Instead, he decided he'd morph into something else that ate vegetation, seeing as she had seen through his disguise. He felt very embarrassed, and didn't think he'd ever turn to his humanoid form again.
Letting out a small mew, he morphed into a very oddly colored stallion, a blue-grey with a black mane and tail. He tossed his head and began to graze. It didn't taste the same as meat would have, but at least he had something to eat while she could keep her dinner. He made sure to keep his face from looking at her while he ate, slowly moving away from her, pretending not to notice, though.

Castian raised an eyebrow as the creature, or rather the shapeshifter, didn't eat, merley let out a small, startled meow, and quickly changed form into a stallion, who had rather strange coloring. Shaking her head softly, the elf got to her feet, eying the horse, a small, bemused smile on her lips.
"I dont know your name, but whatever it is, come and eat. You have to admit that grass isn't the greatist?" She prodded, gesturing to the half skinned goat that lie at her feet.
"I killed it so we could both eat you know..." Feeling foolish that she was talking to a horse, and trying to purswade it to change forms and eat meat, she blushed and turned away, brushing her blonde hair out of her eyes.

Re: U n t o l d
Kulukath raised his head, bobbing it gently to get the mane out of his eyes. So she didn't know him? He searched his memory. He had told her his name right...? He couldn't remember. Snorting and rolling his eyes slightly, he trotted over to her and slunk into his snow leopard form, tail wavering uncertainly. He pushed the slightly larger piece towards her with his nose, staring warily at the other piece. He was hesitant to eat it, as he pressed his wing against his side again and camoflauged it. Kulukath still couldn't shake off the embarassment he felt. And he couldn't help think that her laugh made him want to smile. Her own smile was quite beautiful, as well, and he made a quiet prumm in his throat.

Castian silently marveled at the complex abilities that this being possessed. Changing from a strong steed to a mighty leopard in a matter of seconds, it was almost unbelievable. She watched in complete silence, standing still, the wind gently tossing her hair around her face, her deep brown eyes watching with amazment. How could anyone want to destroy such.. such complexity? She could place the word, but knew that killing this being was wrong. And for no reason. If in his shoes, she would try to kill that Shadowpath untill she died herself.
Stepping quietly away from the beast, she heard a quiet purr rise in its throat, but didn't know what it meant.

Re: U n t o l d
Having lost most of his hunger, Kulukath laid down and nibbled on the edge of the goat a little bit, his tail flicking back and forth gently, his claws retracted. After a few more nibbles, he rested his head in his front paws and yawned, snapping his jaws shut loudly before closing his eyes halfway. He wasn't going to fall asleep, but she didn't look like she was going to kill him. She should eat anyways. His energy had been replenished, and being in this form took very little energy from him, especially when he wasn't moving very much. He yawned again (unintentionally) and stretched, opening his eyes fully again and staring at her, intruiged. To be honest, he wanted to see her smile again.

Watching intently, Castian lowered herself to the ground, sitting lightly and leaning her back up against the cold stone. Wrapping her arms around herself, she closed her eyes, feeling safe enough that this being wouldn't try to kill her as she rested. By the time she opened her eyes again, the beast was also lying down, returning her intent stare as she peered at him. Noticing he wasn't eating, she quickly glanced at the goat, then back at him.

Re: U n t o l d
Kulukath felt very awkward in the silence, and noticed she looked a bit chilly. He wasn't sure, but she looked like it, and the fire she had made was slowly dying, seeing as he'd accidentally attracted so much of her attention she seemed to have forgotten to rekindle it. Kulukath yawned, stretched, and got up, walking over to heer and laying down beside her, sharing some of his warmth and the warmth of his snow-leopard coat (which was quite warm, and he was actually getting a bit hot himself) before closing his eyes and purring unintentionally.

Resting her head against the rock, she closed her eyes one more time, sitting for a few minutes before she felt something soft brush against her arm. Opening her eyes, she lifted her head and turned, glancing down to where the large cat had curled up near her side, its warm fur pressed against her arm and side. Wondering what had brought that sudden compassion on him, she let a small smile flicker across her lips. Just an hour before (more or less,) He had been stalking off, ready to go hunt.

[ aww, poo. Okay ]
[ WOW that was a fail ]
Kulukath nearly fell asleep numerous times, but after awhile of curling up beside her, he decided it best if he either sleep here or sleep elsewhere. He didn't trust her yet to defend him if he slept, so it might be best for him to get up and go rest elsewhere. Kulukath yawned and morphed into a snake, slithering down a small hill and up a tree, coiling himself around in the treebranch and closing his eyes, ready for a good sleep.

Castians head was resting lightly on her chest, her hair lightly blowing in the breeze. Her eyes were closed softly, and her chest rose and fell with deep, even breathing as quietly slept. She stirred a tiny bit as she felt the warm slowly fade away, and wrapped her arms around herself, but continued on dreaming.

Bright morning sunlight filtered through the elves eyelids, and she opened them, groggily sitting up and rubbing her eyes with her palms. It was early, and the beginning rays of sunlight had just started to cascade over the mountain tops.

Du
ring his sleep, Kulukath had somehow transformed back into his humanoid form, and his bare chest was a bit cold. He groaned and sat up, his back hurting like hell from sleeping curled up on a tree branch all night. He lept down silently and made his way back up towards Castian, not knowing if she was awake or not yet, and began to rekindle the fire that had long since gone out. He gathered a few more dry leaves and twigs so the fire would start. Once he'd finally got a spark, he blew on the flames a bit until the were big enough to sustain a fire until she woke up. Then all that would be needed was to gather more tinder. Kulukath sat back, staring off into the flames.

Glancing to her side, she saw that Kulukath was already up, silently coaxing the fire to grow, and slowly, it did. Shivering slightly, Castien opened her mouth, blowing out a stream of warm breath that steamed in the cold air. She crawled closer to the fire, making sure that Kulukath knew she was up, and glanced away from his form, noting the solid muscles that played across his bare, tan chest.

Re: U n t o l d
Kulukath looked up at Castien was up, he smiled faintly before staring back into the fire. He wasn't one for conversation, really. Especially if that person he was trying to converse with was a quite attractive Elf, now that he looked at her more closely. Kulukath, of course, had no interest in her. After all, she had tried to kill him. Kulukath yawned and lay back on the ground, staring up at the sky as a few droplets of rain fell as the clouds parted slowly to bring out the shining sun, warming him.

Re: U n t o l d
The weather was odd, downcast and rather sullen, but with the sun shining out from a break in the clouds, showing blue sky far above.
"Please, tell me you cant also control the weather?" Castian lowered her head, watching the flames dance across the sticks, eating away at the dry wood. Inwardly, she was jealous of Kulukath, jealous that he had these amazing powers that she herself didn't posess. But she knew that inside of her, she had a powerful swell of magic, and wondered if he knew anything about it. Perhaps he could tell her, possibly teach her how to use it? She was far to timid to try it by herself, her only flaw. She didn't know what the effects would be, and clasped her hands tight in her lap.

Re: U n t o l d
Kulukath flicked her an odd glance, then looked up at the clouds, and back to her. He rocked into a sitting position and shrugged his muscular shoulders.
"Nah, but it'd be a pretty cool power." Kulukath's demeanor had noticably changed, even to himself. Now that he knew she wasn't going to kill him, he was almost completely relaxed (but there was a part of him that was constantly on guard, no matter what he was doing; even sleeping). It had been a very long time since he'd sat down and had an actual conversation with another being without it being 'i'm going to slit your throat' kind of talk. Kulukath, suddenly curious, asked, "Do you have any powers?" He crossed his legs and wrapped his hands around his ankles.

Re: U n t o l d
Castian seemed surprised that he had admitted that he couldn't control the weather, and wondered why he didn't just say so even if he couldn't. It didn't seem like he was the kind of person that would pass up that oportunitty, but she pushed herself off of the ground, glancing upwards as he spoke again. Here was her oportunity to tell him, but she was afraid that he would scoff.
"Its... I dont..." She started, then trailed off.

Re: U n t o l d
Kulukath shrugged. He hadn't expected her to have any powers. He knew some Elves had healing powers (amazing healing powers, at that), but he'd never really considered Elves having any other powers. Kulukath stared at her for a moment then frowned.
"Eh, doesn't make a difference, does it? Why would assassin need powers when all their power is in their wrist and blade?" Kulukath didn't get to his feet, though, and instead breathed out a tiny jet of flame to keep the fire going.

"Well-" Castian decided to go for it.. and see if he knew about it at all. "Perhaps a little...." Trailing off, the elf looked at her feet, clasping her hands behind her back. Her choppy blonde hair tossed lightly around her head, and her deep chocolate eyes were puzzed. Looking up, she watched as he blew a spurt of fire to keep the blaze going, and she lowered her eyes once again.

Kulukath looked up at her, feeling her eyes on him, but when he looked up, she was staring pointedly at her feet. "A little what?" Kulukath said shortly. "A little training?" Kulukath kept in a bit of a chortle. He didn't know if he could train a nonmagical elf to do magical things. He could try, but he wasn't sure of her intentions yet, so he was hesitant.
