The sun was gone now and Nicole could just make out Felix's face, she could read it or really see what he looked like at the moment but at lest he was still there, that counted as something right? Jumping when the first mournful howl came then other joined in, she let out a breath and rolled her eyes at herself. Only the wolves, it wasn't like she hadn't heard them before, but now she wondered if any of them were werewolves. Picking at the grass and looking down at her lap Nicole waited for him to answer, he moved a little but didn't leave getting a faint smile from her. Maybe he was going to stay?
Glancing up at him Nicole nibbling on her bottom lip and shook her head "No...not really" Her voice was soft and she still didn't look up at him, a small blush on her cheeks. Was she embarrassed that she wanted him to stay? Maybe a little but then again she just didn't want to be alone right now.

Heavy silence filled the air, and Felix unknowingly winced. Setting his jaw into place, his brilliant white fangs glinted gently in the moonlight, slightly jutting over his bottom lip. He realized that when he was near her, near this girl, he didn't feel like an outcast. He didn't feel like a freak of nature, or worse. For the most part, she treated him as she would anyone else.
For some odd reason, that made him feel a bit better. At least he knew he was partially accepted in her eyes, and she wasn't afraid of him. He didn't know why she wasn't, as he thought about his bloodlust. He was immedietly glad he hadn't been hungry when finding her, and grimaced painfully.
How could he stay!? What would happen if he got hungry again, and needed to drink!? He wasn't in any position to stop himself from attacking her, and knew his body wasn't in his own control when that happened. At the thought of blood, he felt his mouth watering slightly. He was like... He was like an animal. But he couldn't help it, and Felix was ready to explode with tension. What would happen if he couldn't control himself!? He hardly ever remembered what he did when he was thirsty, but knew it sometimes contained less than honorable things. He had no choice. He couldn't stay, just couldn't.
It was obvious that he was waging war inside of his mind, and he let his head fall into his hands.

Tilting her head to the side Nicole watched Felix just stood there. Seconds ticked by and still Felix didn't move and she frowned slightly slowly getting to her feet.
"Felix? Are you ok?" She asked getting worried about him, it was silly to be worried about a vampire but she couldn't help it, he did help her out and he was someone to talk to, keeping all the nightmares away for the moment. Taking a small step to him she tucked hair behind her ear and tugged down her shirt a little still looking at his tall larger frame.
"A-are you alright?" She asked again moving a little closer to him.

Why him!?
Felix grimaced painfully, feeling Nicole move slighty next to him. He heard her voice, but he didn't try to desipher the words. His head hurt like hell, and he closed his eyes in an attempt to relieve the pain inside of it. Squatting on the ground, he lowered his hands so his palms pressed into the soft grass. As he sat in silence, the pain started to subside and he opened his eyes once again. His hair fell down his forhead, black as the night that was around them. Nicole was standing over him, looking down in a concerned matter.
She was concerned!? About him!?
That fact alone made him raise his head, his eyes filled with emotion for the first time that night. Torment raged deep in their depths, and he swallowed painfully. His throat was dry, and he took in a deep breath of air, letting it out slowly and between his clenched jaw. The evening breeze played about in the trees, ruffling the grass and blowing across the small field they were staying in. The material of the small tent flapped gently, and Felix gazed up at Nicole's face.

Watching him a slight frown came onto her lips, concern and worry in her hazel eyes. nibbling on her bottom lip Nicole remanded silent as he squatted down to the ground palms pressed into the grass. What was wrong? Nicole didn't know but she wanted to fine out badly.
Slowly walking closer Nicole stood near him, her feet inches from his own, her feet shifting a little as the concern grew in her eyes.
Finely he looked up at her. And for the first time she saw emotion on his eyes, such torment raged that seemed to consume his dark eyes she gasped softly sucking in a breath. HE looked like he was trying to control himself, fighting with his inner demons. Nicole knew what the felt like and wanted desperately to help him.
Letting out a breath she slowly squatted down in front of him, hazel eyes holding his darker endless ones. "Felix? What can I do to help?" Her voice was soft like the breeze that played with her hair, blowing it around her face.

Felix distinctly heard Nicole suck in a sharp breath. To him, it was loud and he was unable to miss it, though in her own ears it was probably nothing but a small gasp, carried away by the night breeze. He felt his heart pounding wildly in his chest, beating away and pulsing his blood quickly through his veins.
When she asked what she could do to help, Felix's eyes fell away from hers. He could tell that he was making her uneasy with his strange reaction to her simple question, and wished that he could have just stated a yes or no answer. It wasn't that easy though. His instincts were telling him one thing, but his heart and his common sense were screaming at him to do another. He wished it had been simple, as he yearned to once again have the peace he normally shared. But it was far to come. Felix's dark black hair ruffled gently in the breeze, his eyes just as dark and deep as the sky that was overhead, twinkling with silver stars. It almost looked as if someone had spilled diamonds on black silk, letting them scatter and shine brilliantly.
In answer to her question, Felix raised his gaze once again to meet hers. Pushing himself off of the ground, he slowly stood. The vampire was a few inches taller than the girl, his muscular form toned and hard.
"Kiss me."

Looking at him Nicole nibbled on her bottom lip hoping to get a answer from him, but he didn't say anything just looked away from her. Swallowing softly the girl looked at him holding herself back from touching him, to brush back the dark hair off his forehead,
The silents made her a little uneasy but Nicole wasn't going to leave him, besides where would she go? Back home? Hell no, she didn't want to get beat up again. No the last time was going to stay the last time once she was eighteen she was gone, away from that town and her old life.
Slowly Nicole got back to her feet, tilting her head back she look ed up at the sky, when she was way up here, it felt like she could touch the stairs, only if she could reach up and pluck a handful out of the sky. The breeze blew hair around her face, tucking hair behind her ear she looked back at Felix still nibbling on her bottom lip, he slowly stood only inches from her, hiding the moon behind his larger taller frame.
Now it was her turn to look up at him. His demand made Nicole's eyes widen a little bit "Kiss you? Wha- why?" She asked softly. She wouldn't have be able to move if she wanted too, her feet planted themselves into the ground, that and there was just something about Felix that pulled her to him like a magnet to metal.

Felix watched Nicole with dark eyes. Her reaction was what he had figured it would be, but that didn't deter him in the least. Letting his own instincs take over, he raised his eyebrow as she stuttered, obviously speechless and not knowing what to say. The human girl tripped over her words, before her wide eyes glanced up into Felix's own. The breeze played with the soft golden strands of her hair, blowing them around her face. The moon highlighted her fair features, making her eyes appear to be glittering slightly. Her lips beckoned to Felix, and his eyes traveled down to them, before he looked back up into her eyes. Slipping his thumbs into the pockets of his black pants, he didn't speak for quite a few moments.
"You asked what you could do to help. Kiss me."
He wasn't demanding her, merley asking. But he did expect her to recline, and wouldn't be suprised if he recieved a harsh slap across the cheeks.

Looking up at him mouth open like a fish's Nicole couldn't find any words to say, hell her hands or feet wouldn't move! It was like her hands were glued to her sides and her feet? Yeah she wasn't going anywhere any time soon.
This wasn't like normal, normally she would get mad or something and give him a smart ass remark then give him a good pouch on the jaw, but no this wasn't like normal.
Closing her mouth and licking her lips Nicole opened her mouth again then closed it looking up at him, "W-why would a...a k-kiss h-help" She stuttered out again and sucked in a breath adverting her eyes from his gaze. She though about slapping him but, she just...couldn't.
Slowly dragging her gaze back up to his she let out a breath pushing hair out of her eyes, as the breeze still played around with her hair. "Will it mean anything?" She asked softly Looking back up at him hands now shoved into her pocket, feet still planted to the ground.

Felix narrowed his glittering black eyes, before he pursed his lips. He shouldn't have asked, but he figured he would have done it anyway. Shoving his hands down into his pockets, he slowly blinked, before setting his jaw. He felt his fangs pressing down into his lower lip, the white color catching the moonlight and glinting softly, drawing attention to them. Felix wondered what her blood would taste like, his senses picking up on the heat radiating from her body, the sound of her heart pumping, making blood rush through her veins. When she licked her lips, his dark eyes were drawn to them, before he raised his gaze. His stare locked with hers, his eyes seeming to hold her where she was. The intensity that was swirling in their depths was unerving, before Felix blinked and turned away from her.
"Whatever."

Felix held her glaze for what seemed like a life time to Nicole, still unable to move or really even speak she looked up at him the intensity of his eyes made her shutter a little. But then it was broken and he turned away from her with a 'whatever'
A rush of something went through her, and suddenly her feet moved, one hand reached out grabbing his shoulder and turned him around right before she leaned up on tiptoes and kissed him.
It wasn't a deep kiss, just Nicole pressing her lips against his but still the jolt that went through her made the hair on the back of her neck stand on end.

Felix had about to step forward, before he felt a slender hand on his shoulder, making him stop and turn slightly. When Nicole leaned forward to kiss him, he was stunned. Though he had requested it, he hadn't actually thought she would have done so. Feeling her warm lips press lightly against his own, his curved into a sly smile.
He stepped closer to her, drawing his arms tightly around her slim waist and tilting his head, deepening the kiss by pressing into her. His warm tongue slipped out of his mouth, rolling across her lower lip. Tasting her made his senses sky rocket, his hand moving to her neck where he felt her pulse, seeming a bit quicker than usual. The vampire liked to think that he was causing it, but yet he couldn't be sure.
He pulled away instantly however, raising an eyebrow. "Thanks." Turning away, he began to make his way away from her.

Lips pressed to his Nicole stood on tiptoes one hand gripping his shoulder so she wouldn't fall, as he pulled her closer to him his arms now around her waist. Nicole couldn't stop the surprised soft moan when his warm tongue rolled across her bottom lip, her lips parted ever so slightly as she gripped his shoulder tighter as something new rocketed through her.
Feeling his hand move up to her neck Nicole's breath caught in her throat, heart pounding in her chest from his touch and well just what they were doing. But then it was all over in a blink of a eye, he pulled away and tuned to walk away with a 'thanks'
Nicole frowned looking at him the taste and feel of him still lingering on her lips and skin. "So thats it? You kiss me then walk off and leave me alone? Fine whatever" She mumbled and turned around moving over to the little tent and let out a breath looking up at the sky then slowly sat down leaning against the cooler head tilted up as she looked up at the sky muttering to herself about boys.

Felix shrugged, slipping his hands into the pockets of his worn black jeans. He figured he owed her at least some form of explanation, seeing as she had actually kissed him. He had also kissed her right back, and he knew she had enjoyed it. Even now, if he strained to listen, her heart was beating far faster than it had been a few moments before, and he couldn't help but let a sly smile touch his lips. He bent down, picking up all her comments and peered through the flap of the tent.
"Just a kiss Nicole- we leave, because then you can think and wonder what the next step could be like." Felix gave her a slightly suggestive wink, before a grin split his features and he turned, all nonsense. He hadn't really meant it, it was more of a tease than anything else. If she would ever actually get to know him, she would find he was more words than actual deeds, and thus he sat down on the ground, his back facing the open flap of the tent. "I'll stay out here tonight, if it's alright with you."

Leaning back looking up at the stars Nicole glanced over at him as he moved back over to her peering down into the tent pushing hair out of her eyes. She looked over at him and rolled her eyes at his comment and the wink he gave her. "Riiiiight" She rolled her eyes again and went back to looking up at the sky and not at him, she could feel him near thou. Looking back over at him she shrugged "Fine with me" She staid silent for moment before yawing. " Im going to bed night" With a easy smile she crawled back to her sleeping bag and laid down curling up in it.
With a sigh she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

Felix sat outside for what seemed like hours, in dead silence. His lips were drawn into a fine line, pale skin reflecting the silver moonlight that shone down into the meadow. What was his reason for staying? Felix wasn't sure, but also didn't understand himself. He felt a need to stick around, even if it was only to make sure Nicole would be able to do whatever she was here for; safetly. He took in a deep breath, letting it out very slowly. Watching the sky, the young man eventually drifted off into a light doze, the best it would ever get for him. He found it hard to sleep, to rest. Not when he was being hunted so furiously. Maybe even Nicole would backstab him and take advantage of his weariness, thus he kept his senses alert while he tried to catch a wink.
