The old red pickup truck crunched onto the gravel, pulling into the driveway. Before the truck had completley stopped, Madison jumped out, ready to unload the two new horses. From the backround info, thier names were Leo and Joker. Joker seemed to have a bit more of a trust issue than Leo, but both were in pretty bad shape.
In the barn, she checked to make sure both stalls were bedded with deep soft straw, along with having lots of fresh hay and cold fresh water.

Painted Promise- The Barn Empty Re: Painted Promise- The Barn

Leonardo stood rather impatiently in the trailer, looking out the makeshift window. Flicking his forelock from his eyes, the gelding snorted and his ears twitched in mild aggitation. Leo kicked the wall of the trailer with a grunt. He wanted to be out of this stupid trailer and to whatever laid before him outside the confinement of the trailer. He didn't know why but he got the feeling that this place he was in would be safe and he wouldn't have to worry about being mistreating again. Atleast not for a while.

Joker's ears flicked back and forth, impatient, frightened and aggitated. He pawed the trailer floor nervously, unsure of what was to happen to him now. The overo thoughbred stallion eyed the gelding whom stood not too far away from him. Joker's ears flicked back against him skulled and his tail flicked lightly. He snorted as Leo kicked the wall of the trailer and the stallion continued to paw the ground.

Angelfire~

She watched the humans prepare the stalls with curiosity. Her quarter horse styled dish head moved to look at the trailer as it pulled in, she nickered loudly to the horses inside it. She had been raised on this farm but had trust issues with those she didn't know. She was bought from her abusive owner as a suckling and Madison had boodle fed her till she turned into a weanling. She had nursed the abused filly to age three. She only trusted Madison for some resin and no other human could approach unless with her. Angelfire snorted and nickered for her girl as she came in and checked the two stalls out then left. she watched the trailer waiting to see the horses come out.

Chance hung her slightly scarred face over the edge of the stall, she didn't tend to like new horses, thats if they were mean and nasty. her ears pricked up with curiosity, she nickered and kicked the door, flinching at every fly landing on her

Madison heaved open the trailer doors, and looked at the two horses in there, trying not to scare them.

Miracle was currently in the paddock. But she was trying to be put back in her stall. She pinned her ears back and began to whinny and rear up at the human who was handling her. She was in direct view of Madison. Just beside her view inside the trailer. Miracle was very weak and very scared. She was cornered and couldn't help but fight back. She had major trust issues and wasn't about to change. The man began to raise his arms and started flailing them in every direction. That only made the situation worse. Miracle began to rear higher and higher, pushing her weak body over it's limits. Finally Miracle let out a loud, piercing whinny that alarmed some of the other horses in the paddock. She was calling for help. She had no idea what was going on and her position wasn't helping anything. Neither was the crazy movement of the amateur handler.

Madison heard an ear peircing whinny, and whirled, seeing one of the newbie volenteers flailing his arms about and chasing after Miracle. She turned, and latched the trailer door closed, then quickly bolted into a sprint, racing over to the paddock. She climbed the fence with ease, and leaped into the corral with the frightened horse.
Pushing the guy out of the way, she made him leave the corral, then looked at the trembling mare, not making any move to near her or come after her.

Angle fire heard one of the other horses call for help and some how broke out of her stall and galloped over to see if she was fine. "Are you ok?" She said seeing Madison slowly enter and stand near the other mare.

Miracle watched as Madison slowly entered the corral. She pinned her ears and looked cautiously at the girl. She stopped backing up and slowly took a step toward her. Ever second or so she would reach out her muzzle and get as close to her as she could get to her without moving another step. Eventually Miracle was standing right up to Madison. She reached out her muzzle and touched the girls shoulder. She jerked her head back but then looked at her, studying her. Miracle's ears popped up and she looked inquisitively at the girl. She touched her shoulder again but held it there this time. She reached out to her hand and touched it. The skin felt comforting on her muzzle. Miracle slowly pulled away and looked at the other horse. She walked up to the fence and said "I'm a bit weak and scared but other than that I'm fine. Well I'm very malnourished." Miracle walked back to Madison and nuzzled her cheek. She trusted her now. Knowing that Madison saved her from the crazy man that flailed his arms at her.

Madison smiled as she felt the soft, velvet muzzle touch her cheek slightly, and then raised her hand to the mares neck, stroking her slightly. Then, her eyes fell onto the other mare, that was standing nonchalantly by the fence, watching them. The girl rolled her eyes. Angelfire was out. Again.
"I'll be right back girl-" She told miracle, then swung over the fence, aproaching Angelfire slowly, her face kind.

Anglefire

She calmed down seeing the other horse was fine right before Madison came to her. She low ward her head, arching her neck and put her head agents her. Breathing slowly she gave that innocent look she all ways gave Madison when in trouble before turning and acting like she was going to go to her stall but stopped, waiting for Mady as she called her to come...

Miracle followed Madison as far as the edge of the fence. Then the boy came around to the side of the fence Miracle was on. Miracle began to back away as the boy climbed in and abruptly reached out his hand, while walking after her. Miracle pinned her ears and looked terrified at Madison. She whinnied and pawed the ground. Miracle felt very weak and could barely walk any further. She needed to get back into her stall but this boy was scaring her.

A sudden noise made Madison's head whip back, and she stood, staring at the guy who had again, again once entered the corral.
"What the-" Madison started, then decided to save it till later. She let go of Angelfire's halter, and climbed into the corral, striding up behind the teen guy and taking him by the shoulders, pushing him towards the gate.
"You dont know what you're doing!" Madison scolded, frowning. Sure, she was pissed, but she turned back to the once again frightened mare.

Miracle slowly walked toward Madison. Miracle had her halter on but no lead rope. She could've run at any moment but she didn't. She slowly walked behind Madison and stood by the gate.

AngleFire

She snorted and shooked her main turning around. She then saw the boy and got a wicked idea. She walked up to him chest buffed out and head high, making herself seem bigger. She then reared up twice, showing him how it felt to be approached the way he approached them. She then turned and trotted back to Mady and waited for her camaned.

(wild one--
I hate to say this, and to correct you, but do you really think a regular horse would do that? Dont get me wrong, you're a great role player, and it was cuteXD But, thats not what a horse would do in real life... This is realistic I guess. NO OFFENCE!!!)

(Understood)

AngleFire

She shook her mane then turned looking at Mady and the mare and nickered as if saying to them, "Come on!" Which she did say in horse language but Madison could not understand that of course. She then loward her head and started grazing a pone the grass. Tail swishing around while she went step by step, bite by bite.

Chance whinnied towards the truck, a boy came pass and stuck his hand right into her face, she snorted and bit his hand, that was the thing with Chance, she either liked you, or didn't like you! she watched the boy run down the main isle crying.

Miracle slowly and secretly walked out of the paddock and headed over to the trailer. She could tell horses were in there so she put her head to the trailer door and nicked a greeting to the horses inside.
