Bacholer Stallions (From pick n play)

Shasta Strutted in, head held high, his eyes filled with joy as he saw the large meadow. he scanned the area, and turned behind him and whinnied, the whole herd whinnied back and they all bolted into the meadow, a large Brown stallion whinnied and reared, Bean was ast the back, his legs speeding through the stallions. being the only Falabella, he ran in and out of the other horses legs, but they didn't seem to mind. Iolanthe Ran with her father and turned her head to look behind her. she looked for Anthem, but she couldn't see him, she whinnied for him.

Lithium walked beside Shasta. He stood taller than him, he looked over to see Iolanthe calling out to Anthum. He snorted ruthlessly and nickered for Sun Dune to go scout out the place before we got any further.

Anthem's stride was long and smooth, and he easilly cantered over the rolling hills, a bit faster than the rest of the herd. None the less, he skidded to a stop on the lush grass as soon as he caught sight of the meadow. It was beautiful, in one word. He gave a whinny of joy and reared into the air. Maybe, there would be mares here. Lolanthe seemed to be already claimed, there were too many stallions here.

Sand Dune steped into the meadow, looking around, he ran to a creek, and drank a sip of water, it tasted normal and didn't have any chemicals in, he inspected the grass, seeing how fertile it was, it seemed pretty fertile to him, he poked his head up "The meadow seems to be in a good, stable condition sir." he said, bowing his head. "Good." Shasta said he walked infront of the herd and looked them all in the eye "Now, everyone here enjoy this meadow whilst we can. no silly behaviour, be kind to each other, except from Iolanthe, make sure no mares in heat pass by, some maybe Iolanthe's friends, but Iolanthe, just try to keep them away from the stallions as best as you can, and lastly, no invading others land." he said, allowing them to move forward "Good job SD, where would we be without you?" he smiled as he walked past his his deputy. Iolanthe trotted sideways over to Anthum "Hi.... look, I was thinking, Sand Dune told me there is a private river in the middle of the forest, maybe we could meet....tonight?" she said, her voice traling of with embarresment.

Anthem watched intently, his ears rotating to listen to new sounds. Something brushed against his side, and he saw Lolanthe there, a quizzical, hopeful look in her eyes. Her hide gleamed in the sunlight, her gorgeous mane cascading over her beautiful neck... Anthem snorted, breaking out of his daydream. Then what she had said set in and he nodded once, trying to keep a delighted smile from appearing. It didn't work.

"Great! Ask Sand Dune to show you the way!" she said excitedly, she looked at Uncle Lithium, he was quite a attractive horse, but not one of her type, she saw Bean swimming through the water, his little legs excitedly paddling fastly, she laughed, her forelock falling over her eyes she blew it back over into a side fringe again and cleared her throat "Okay, so ill see you tonight!" she laughed, as she trotted away, Cynder (bean) ran up to Anthem, laughing slightly "oooooooo! someones going on a.....Date!" he said, making the word 'Date' stand out.

[Spritz]

Anthem lowered his head, embarrased. His long forlock fell over his eyes, and he snorted an answer. "Uh hu." He couldn't keep a tiny smile off his lips though. He gave a quizzical look at bean. "What, why is that such a big deal?"

"Nothing, Nothing its just that your special...... coz a horse in this herd hasn't dated for over 10 years!" he laughed as he trotted away, his feet hitting the ground with tiny little pit pat pit pat for each stride.

[Spritz]

Anthem gave a shake of his coat. He wasn't even ten years old, so that didn't really apply to him.. Or did it? His white dappled coat was dirty from the trip, and he waded into the water to clean himself off.

Iolanthe walked up a cliff, she stood at the top, the wind rushed by her mane, making her breath deeply, she took a deep breath and began to sing
"Come on skinny love just last the year
Pour a little salt we were never here
My my my - my my my - my my my my - my my ...
Staring at the sink of blood and crushed veneer.........."(carrys on singing)



her voice sounded just like the actual singer, delicate, soft and elegant, seeing that she had just sang infront of 50 odd stallions, she slowly backed up out of sight, she loved singing, but that singing was telling her something, yet she didn't know what it was, she had a feeling her mothers spirit was present.......

[Spritz]

Anthems ears pricked upward, as he heard a beautiful voice drift over the canyon. His eyes looked upwards, resting on the form of Lolanthe, and he smiled slightly, his world seeming to come to a stop, the only sound, her delecate voice. Soon, she turned and left the cliff face, and he stepped lightly out of the water, shaking himself off, and looking at the sun. It was starting to set.

Iolathe looked at the soon, her face red with embarresment, Even uncle Lithium heard that! she started to run through the forest, and eventually reached the pool of water, she started to sing the same song again.

Nope, Anthom would not be singing any time soon. In his eyes, horses didn't sing. They ate, talked, swished their tails, and reproduced.. At least thats what normal horses did. Was he normal?
Anthem snorted, his nostrils flaring. Shaking his mane, he swished his long grey tail and trotted into the forest, trying to find the hidded river.

Iolanthe heard hoof beats, she sang even louder to block out the sound.

Anthem stopped, lowering his head and snorting lightly. The shadows from the canopy of leaves overhead cast dappled shadows on his back.

Iolanthe heard someone, she jumped to her feet instantly, looking quite startled, looking around her, she settled back down on her patch of grass.

[Spritz]

Out of sight, Anthem decided he didn't want to annoy her by showing up and ruining her quiet time. He turned to leave, his hooves clicking quietly on the river banks rocks.

She was worring, it was starting to get dark, the stars were appearing, as was the moon, its light was slicing through her face she heard some weird noises and she heard the presence of some horse around her "Anthem?" she said, getting quiet scared.

[Spritz]

Anthem heard his name being called, and swung his head around, looking into the dark.
"Yes?'
He turned around, then stomped a hoof worriedly.

"W-W-where are you?" she said, seeing something walk in the shadows...

Anthem nickered softly, and stepped forward, picking out her shape in the darkness. He came up to her and nuzzled her withers comefortingly.

"there-Th-Theres som-Some-Something he-here." she stamered, her soft voice broken by scaredness.

Dagger lifted his head, staying hidden in the trees so the others would not ee him as he arrived. But it seemed no one noticed he was gone. With a snort, Dagger stepped out, snapping at the nearest horse with a grumpy huff. His ears were laid back, and his tail flicked a fly away. "Am I invisible or something?" He growled, gritting his teeth.

Dagger trotted to the river, stepping in and letting the currant flow around him. He let it sweep him down, lifting his legs and kicking down stream. He saw two horses, the only mare in the herd and Anthem. He ducked under water, and came up down stream gasping for breath and climbed out of the water. He coughed. The water sucked him under when he had already left the surface, and couldn't of gone up.

A grumpy, soaked, and shivering colt wandered back to the herd, but stayed by himself as some huddled for warmth.

"I think we should go, brrrr, Its getting a little cold tonight" she said, leaning against him.

[Spritz]

Anthem snorted softly, his own body brushing against hers, sharing his warmth.
"Of course. WHatever you want."
