"Because. I stay where I please and go when I want to. SO deal with it." He growled, rolling in the dirt. "Trash can? I eat this all the time." He said, nodding to the pile of dirt where the meat lay. "I don't eat the garbage you do. Your puppy eyes won't get you anything at the butchers if you go there. And plus, he only serves dogs when I am around." HE dug up the meat and ran bck t the butchers.

I just rolled my eyes and sat down and waited for him to come back.

Sam sighed. He finished the meat, dirt grtting against his teeth. "Break up with her already boy?" The butcher asked. Sam gave a agreeing noise.

I felt a change of heart and stopped being a bitch and tilted my head up and howled to him *Want to hang out? I know a good place.* When I said I know a good place I was talking about this beautiful hill were you could see the city lights and stars. It was beautiful there, exspeclile on full moons light to night. I looked up at the sky as it started to darken.

He howled back. "Fine." Sam said, taking off with a big steak in his mouth, considering the butcher shop would be closed for a while. He thought they could share it. Once he reached her, he brought out a used paper place, but only for a salad and put the steak on it. he picked them both up then muttered. "I am following you."

She started to jog there,


A little while later


She sat on the hill looking down at the city, "I love the view this gives." She then looked up at the stars then to him. "What do you think? I hang out here all the time, it's so peaceful and no one ever comes here so it's quite. Nothing but the sound of nature." She then finished and a silence filed the air.

He nodded. "But this isn't my thing." When they finished the steak, he lead her to a place. Multi color lights were coming from inside it. It was in the basment of a old house and they were inside. He gently slipped into the basment, lous music pounding in his ears. "Aye Pedro!" Sam barked, bumping noses with one of his friends. "Got a girl?" Pedro asked. "Just a friend." He said. "COme on, sing." He said, nudging Sam up onto a bunch of old refrigerators on their sides. He picked a random girl in the crowd, a young australian shepherd. He began the clubs signature song-

(K, Is the movie good? I've never seen it. Oh have you seen marmaduke? Beacuse I'm adding some dancing to the dogs since they can do it in Marmaduke they can do it here!)

I smiled and fallowed him there. I smiled at every one and when he went up to sing I smiled, he was good. I then yelled, "Every body dance!" I started to do so myself and some other girls joined in. I was a great dancer. I moved my left leg out then back then right leg the kept going till he was done.

The guys did not look impresses as girls took over. They all snarled. Sam tucked tail and tugged her out. "What were you thinking?" He sai dharshly.

"Um sorry, i didn't think they'd care." She said looking him directly in the eye so differently then before, not love, not fear, not rage, not trust but something odd. Her tail was not tucked or wagging nor alert just hanging. She then spoke, "I'm gonna go." And with that she walked away.

Little later

She stood there watching and watching as the cars rode past non stop. She just waited in till finally there was an opening. She took it all most getting hit but making it though. She padded along past a store till freezing and talking a few steps back. *Gotta get that collar.* Yea yea she was a wild dog but the collar was so cool looking. Black with silver spikes on the out side and soft black leather on the inner. She shooed her head. *your not a doggie pet what were you thinking!* She scolded before continuing to walk. Sweat smells of food drifting up her noise. A yawn left her before she realized the sky was lightning up and day was coming. *What a beautiful thing to see* She thought walking on ward till reaching her home. She went in and curled up forgetting all that had happen. Upset she drifted off to sleep in her cozy bed.

"These are my friends! They don't like things like that! They do not appreciate some girl coming in and taking over! In that house, males are the boss! You have to be a mneber if you wish to do anything!" He snapped. "Good! Go! You could of gotten me kicked out!'

She awoke to the sun touching her noise and got up, head low. Not in the mood to go find breakfast she walked past the old bathroom and past a bed room and into a living room. She looked around the empty room, it had two windows, one on the right side and one on the left front side and in be twin a chimney. She smiled then went to the only objects left in this room. A old radio on a nice antic table. She used her noise to hit the on and picked the wire to it up and some how got it in the outlet and music filed the air. She then used her noise to put on classic to sooth her. She laid down to take a early nap while the soft music played.

Little later

Only a few minuets after she fell asleep she awoke to the feeling of slobber dripping on her. She opened her eyes, it was him! She scrambled to her feet tail tucked in fear, it was him, the one who gave her the long scar on her belly. Her body shook with fear seeing the male who hurt her as a pup back and snarling at her like death was near. Yelps and screams field the air as he started tearing into her, blood flying every where. She managed to give him a light bite on the shoulder but let go falling to the ground, "I said I would finish you and now I have." He said hunting her with the memory. Her mom had saved her right before he finished her when she was a pup but now she was alone. He then left her, to die. She laid there blood down her muzzle and all over her body. She weakly whined in pain till not able to any more. Her life flashed by her from when she was a pup and to now, *Is this it? Am I going to die?* She wondered listening to the soft classic music that still played. Was it for the poach or would she pull though? Only time would tell.

Sam heard the commotion as he headed out to get breakfast, and rushed in to see a smirking an dvery bloody dog walk out. "Kate?" He barked. (That is her name, rght?) He rushed inside, gently licking th ewounds. "Come on...." He muttered, dragging her in the shadows and towards the butcher shop.

[Guest]

She was barley was able move herself to look at him and could not even whimper when he started to pull her, she felt so weak. Like the life was draining out of her and her skills where going back to were they came to be another's. She listened to the music get quite as he pulled her father and father away from it. She tired to open her mouth to ask, 'Where you taking me?' But it hurt to much to move her damaged maw and she could not find her voice.

Once at the butchers he shut down and put her in the back of the truck. He drove her to vet and, being rather funny, put a steak on her eye/

She simply tried to wag her tail in humar but it only lifted once then fell down. She trusted this man and Sam who she knew was mad at her for last night but still for some reason helped her.

[Harley]

the vet quickly put cleaning stuff on her wounds, and they foamed, which mean tthe germs were dying. He stuck a big needle in her, explaining ot the butcher that she had gotten rabies from whatever dog had attacked her. Sam gently licked her. "Twitch your ear if you can hear me. If you can, I know ytou will be alright."

The vet started to stitch her up, not even giving her a sleeping thing so she would not feel any pain.

She yelped when the needle entered, a sing of life. Her ears twitched, "Sam?" She asked and a little while later out of humour she said, "No club is a good one unless there's a dancing floor." She was not trying to be mean or get him mad, just make him laugh and feel better about last night. She whimpered after talking because it and because she wanted forgiveness.

"You don't know how to dance girl!' He laughed. "You got the move wrong, mixed thr steps up."

She giggled, "Yea but I'm still a good dancer and you could teach me the steps."

[Harley]

"Ill have Shea teach you. She loves to dance." He said.

"Ok then, well when I getting out of here? Can't dance with bandginess." She said giggling.

"Couple weeks. I will sneek you fresh meat and keep you company."

"Ok" She said managing wagging her tail and a lick on his cheek.
