Gilraen pressed her ear against the wall, listening to the conversation through the wall and catching only a few words or phrases. 'Tell me now,' and 'your brother' and 'alive,' was most of what she ended up hearing. Gilraen furrowed her brow and guessed Voromere's brother was Caladrin, which he'd explained earlier, and the fact he was still alive... But how could that be? Hadn't Voromere said he'd finished him off?
Gilraen pressed harder against thew all, straining to pick up any and every detail that she could.

Gilraen frowned as she heard Voromere's words. Did he really despise his brother so much to the point of killing him? Something in the back of her mind stirred about Voromere, but no matter how hard she tried to bring it forth, it was like it was slipping from her grasp. What was it that gave her this nagging feeling that Voromere was up to something...? Something that, obviously, involved his brother, and maybe she herself? Gilraen drew away from the wall and crossed the room, sitting on the bed and crossing her legs, resting an elbow on her knee, her chin in her palm, deep in thought.
