Hearing the pain and fear in her voice, I nod and decide to stay with her. I lower my head and touch her neck and shoulder gently "It'll be ok, just relax" i said and layed beside her.

Chandeleir let out a relaxed sigh when Zane decided to stay with her. After three more exhausted pushes, the tiny foal was out. Chandeleir began to sit up and lick the foal. Much to her surprise and fear, she felt another kick. "I--I think there's two!" Chandeleir fell back down onto her side but didn't bother pushing. She was still exhausted.

I touch her side gently "just one more, you'll be ok" i said, staying alert of our surroundings.

Chandeleir nodded weakly and began to push again. Another 20 minutes later, the two young foals had been brought into the world. The first foal was already standing on its wably legs, searching around for milk. Chandeleir weakly got up and helped the second foal to its feet and allowed them both to suckle. There was a filly and a colt.

[ would you like the filly or colt? ]
