Lynn watched at Scoot began to pull out loads of good looking food. She was actually hungry. The chicken salad made her mouth water with just its tangy aroma. She smiled a little more as he handed her a full plate. "Thank you." she said with a grin and set it on her lap. She nibbled the fruit salad, savoring the sweet berries and their delightful juices. She sipped from a glass of ice tea with made her belly tingle and then she picked up the sandwich. It had been years since she had some, not since...she couldnt remember when. With a small grimace, she bit into the moist sandwich and closed her eyes. The flavor exploded in her mouth making her shiver. It was so good! "Your mum really knows how to cook." she commented and licked her lips.

Cloud nibbled the grass contently beside Angel. The sunset was grand with bleeding colors of pinks, reds, and purples that spilled across the white clouds. He lifted his head, his creme for lock hanging in his eyes, and watched it set through the curtain of hair. He was happy. Keeping an ear out for his lady and Scot, he looked over and Angel and admired her beauty. With a sudden urge to touch her again, he extended his neck and brushed his muzzle along her barrel softly.

scott smiled at her complament, but a twing of hurt hit him, he looked up at the sky and smiled softly wacthing to passing clouds over top thier heads " thank you, she really did and it a good thing her son likes to cook too" he said with a gentle laugh befor elooking lynn in the eyes. he had never felt this way for a girl before, of course he had plenty of attention from girls in his life but he never felt the need nor the want to have thier attention like he wanted hers.

angel recieved goose bumps as cloud touched her barrel, she looked back over her shoulder at him and smiled. she nickered sweetly to him and pricked her ears and swished her tail ligthly. she looked over at scott and lynn smiling then looked back to cloud

Lynn set down the second half of her sandwich to pick up a napkin and wipe her mouth off. She smiled and bobbed her head as she listen to Scott. "Well, your a good cook too." she laughed lightly. She picked up her sandwich again and just as she was taking a bite, she made eye contact with Scott. A weird, warm feeling start to flare in her gut and she recoiled, quickly looking over at the horses to advert her attention.

Cloud felt all funny all over. His body tingled and his insides seemed to feel all light. He shook his head a few times and snorted, trying to free himself of the odd feeling. With a grunt, he scooted closer, almost touching her with his side, and lowered his head to graze right next to hers.

scott smiled " thanks i guess i took after my mother" he said. as he went to start to eat his food, wen he took a bite of his sandwhich lyyn and he made eye contact he felt heat rise to his cheeks so he quickly looked over to the horses rubbing his neck. " looks like your cloud likes my angel" he said softly watchign the stallion step closer to angel. he wanted to that to be him and lynn.

angel noticed sloud was acting weird but she just smiled and shook it off and continued to graze peacefully, but it was when clouds large body was next to her own, she looked at him " whats wrong with you silly goose" she asked playfully as she gently bumped into him with her hip.

Lynn happened to glance back at his face when he stared at her comment and saw the small flare of red appear in his cheeks. She, too, started to feel the heat begin to flare and the color appear so she turned to examine a little tear in her boot. "Yes, it appears he has taken a liking to her. she quite a beauty." she said with a little smile and then gathered up the courage to look at him again, her striking green gaze melting into his own stare.

Cloud twitched a fly away on his shoulder that was facing away from Angel. "Oh, im acting silly?" he chuckled and then lipped her chest. "I just feel a little funny..." he started abnd then lowered his head, pretending to forget to answer her so he could hide his embarrassment.

Scott smiled at lynns answer still watching the two horses, who seemed to. Be talking in their own way. " thanks she's my top girl" he said lovingly about his mare before saying " cloud is a very good looking stallion. By far one of the best I've seen in a long time" scott said before turning to lynn, his electric icey blue eyes meeting her amazing irish green eyes. It was as if just by looking into her eyes he could play out a long happy future with this girl. He found the more he stared into her wonderous eyes the more he daydreamed about a life with her.

Angel laughed softly and licked his shoulder." I never said silly was a bad thing' she said in a gentle vioce that followed like a quiet stream as she talked. Angel swished her long wavy tail at flys before watching cloud turn his head from her. " why do you feel alittle funny" she asked before slightly moving away from him to graze in a different spot to see if he would follow

Cloud Shifted and sthen shuddered when he felt her warm tongue across his shoulder. He looked up just as she walked away and he couldn't help but smirk. shaking his thick skull, he started to follow her, keeping his soft eyes on her swaying hips. "I feel funny because.. he strated and then laughed nervously. "YOU make me feel funny." he concluded.

Lynn smiled a little more at the comment about her baby. Cloud really was the man in her life and when people talked about him, her heart grew bigger. "Thank you." she said siftly. Taking a sip of her tea, Lynn pulled her gaze away quickly and concentrated on a piece of grass. "What are you thinking?" she found herself asking him.

angel looked back at him as he had followed her. she giggled " so i make you feel funny" she said in a llight playful voice as she shook her beautiful dished head, sending her long wavy multi-colored mane every which way, also sending some in her face which she blew out and gently bit some of cvlouds forelock. " funny in a good way or bad way" she asked as she walked around him, flicking her tail releasing her scent teasing him.

" your welcomed" scott answered with a warm bright smile. scott took a sip of his tea and wiped his mouth as he saw lynn look away from him, byt he had gone to looking back at the horses when he heard her ask him what he was thinking about. scott sighed with a soft smile " oh you know life, what him going todo after angel is bred and has her foal, if me and my girl should continue showing since she is only about to tuurn six or if i should just go back to my families farm and take up running the breeding farm" he said as he ran his hand through his hair " what about you.. what are you thinking aobut"

Lynn was silent for a moment. In her head she was thinkning about Scott showing with his little Angel and possibly running his parents breeding farm. With her thoughts, she suddenly saw herself standing beside a new colt at his farm with her arm wrapped around it and her other hand in Scotts. She jerked herself outta the day dream so fast you would think she had been stung. Lynn, what the hell?! she scolded herself mentally. "Me? Oh.." she started and then gazed at Cloud a moment. The breeze was tugging at his creme mane and it reminded her of the silk sheets her real mama once had. The same breeze began playing in her red hair, sending it across her face and tickling her nose. She swatted at it and continued, "Cloud. I want to breed him soon and then maybe get off the ranch for awhile. I think Dan wants that anyway..." she trailed off and her eyes flashed.

Cloud shook his head and watched her. "A good way i hope." he said with a smile and stole some more grass. He felt the breeze carass his mane and he let it toy with his tail. he liked it. Cloud noticed Angel blow hair from her face and he laughed lightly. He extended his neckand nipped her shoulder gently before turning his head away. Her scent traveled up to his mug and played in his nostrils. He had to close his eyes to keep her from seeing them roll. It took all his might to keep his hormones and natural instincts under control. "Sorry." he murmured and walked away to get out of the cloud of her scent.

" uhm are you ok" scott asked lynn quickly watching her go from what lookked like a good day dream to looking like she had just gotten stung by a bee. scott watched her for a second thining about what he was about to say before he said it. " well maybe since you want to get away from this ranch..." he trailed off as he ran his hand through his hair then rubbed the back of his neck " maybe you and cloud would like to come travel back to my family's breeding farm and stay awhile but only if you would want to" he finished turning alittle red

angel good spiritedly nipped him in his mane for nipping her shoulder. she started to graze then heard cloud murmer something, when she looked up she saw him walk off " is everything ok?" she asked as she took one step towards him not sure as to what she should do

Lynn's brilliant blue eyes flashed when she heard Scott talk crazy talk! "Scott!" she accused him. Her emotions suddenly flared like wild fire. She whipped her hear around to look at him, her red hair flying with her and then swinging around her face. "Why you talk like that?" she asked him through slited eyes. "you tryin to pull somethin funny?" she growled as she got up onto her knees. It was natural instinct for her to defend the unknown. The scenario just seemed to perfect based off her former life. When she saw the hurt look in his eyes, she calmed down and put her head in his dainty hands. "Im sorry.." she sobbed. "Ta bron orm.." she repeated in Irish.

Cloud craned his neck to look at Angel. "Im fine, just gotta learn some control." he muttered and then took a drink from the creek. He raised his head when he heard his girl's voice pitch and he quickly turned around to inspect the scene. The boy was not making any threatening moves so he stayed where he was and watched. He offered a warning snort.

scott turn a dark red as lynn went off after he had asked her to come back to his familys breeding farm with him and angel . he didnt know what to say or why she would act the way she was. scott guessed it had something todo dealing with her past. " its fine i shouldnt have asked" he said then with a light sigh scott looked into her brillant green eyes with his own electric icey blue ones " but when i asked you if you wanted to come i wasnt trying to play you adn the offer still stands but take your time thinking about what you would like todo" he said softly

angel smiled at cloud but pricked her ears and looked toward scott and lynn she stomped her hoof as she heard lynn yell at scott she flicked her tail. as she heard cloud give a warnnihng snort she nipped him on the shoulder give him a warnning as if to say yah your cute but thats my human dont mess with him. angel was like her name an angel but mess with the ones she love you would get to see her dark side

Cloud gave her a sideways glance. He may be her human, but Lynn was his. Cloud was not a nice stallion to anyone except the mares he was to be bred to and even that act did not last long. He shook his head once and then turned away from her to head back towards the river. He sighed and then dipped his mug to the cool water. Today, too many emotions were raging through his body and he had no idea how to properly handle them. He elevated his head to look at Angel and see what she was doing.

Lynn felt really horrible about everything she had said. The way she just expolded on this young man she hardly knew. He was being hostil but in a way she knew. It was like if she had not blow up, she would not have been herself and then everyone would know she was turning soft becase she actually wanted to consider it. "Alright, Scott." she said and then turned away to looj out at the setting sun. "I think i should get back now." she sighed as she stood up.

Angel just snorted and swished her long wavy tail as cloud glanced at her then walked away from her towards the creek. Angel started to graze only to lifted her large dished yet danty head when she saw lynn get up. She turned her head to look at cloud then shook her. Mane before making her way over towards scott at a graceful trot. Her tail flagged like a banner. As she reached her human she whickered low in her throat before placing her head over his shoulder looking at lynn with her icey mint green eyes. So much had happen today to everyone and angel felt like more was on the way.

Scott could very much tell just by the way she was react and by her facial expression. She wasn't trying to come off heartless or mean. It was just her outer shell that most people had, he saw she probably was thinking. To her self don't become a softly like he had told himself many times not to be one as well. Scott rubbed the back of his neck as they stood up. Scott lookned and smiled as he heard and saw angel trotting over towards him. As he patted his mare he said " yah angel and ill be back soon" as he started to clean up and tack angel back up

Lynn nodded her head stiffly and ignored the gaze she got from his mare. As she whistled for Cloud, she gathered up his tack. When he trotted to her side she made him stand swiftly tacked him up. With a grunt, she swung herself into his saddle and waved as she turned him. "See you." she called and urged Cloud into a good lope. On the trail, she made him go faster until he was galloping faster then he should on the thin path. The sky was darker now and the little forest blurred past her. Her eyes welled with tears from the wind and the past events of her afternoon. She wasnt thinking when she came to the familiar brook and forced Cloud to jump. Reluctantly, he did and slipped on the muddy bank. Cloud cried out and Lynn did and the two went down. Lynn lay on he side in the mud and groaned as felt numb. Cloud struggled to his hooves and stood over her, protecting her from the dangers of the night and waited for Angel to come through.

As lynn and cloud left scott finished tacking angel when angel lifted her head hearing cloud scream. Angel grunted to scott, who had heard it as well. " come on girl go" he said as he go in the saddle and angel took off at a gallop through the the forest. As scott heard moving water he slowed angel seeing lynn on the ground not moving with cloud over top of her. " come on girl" scott said as he backed up angel and prepared her to jump. Angel snorted and then took off clearing the river turning around and trotted back to lynn and cloud. Where scott jumped off " easy boy" he said as he moved cloud over near angel who whickered to him and nuzzled him. " lynn lynn can you hear me" he said lifting her head onto his lap

Cloud heard Angel's oncoming hoof beats as her and Scott galloped towards them to the rescue. He pranced eagerly near his wounded human and whickered nervously each time a new sound was heard. In the dark, he could just make out angel as she approached the brook. Scott backed her up and she cleared it, Reluctantly, cloud followed Scott to Angel and he stood by her side. He licked her shoulder and then stared intently on the people.

Lynn felt her body be shifted and she groaned. Was that Scott's voice she was hearing in her dream? Behind her eyelids a dream was taking place. She saw children running around an open yard, horses in the distance a man by her side on a porch swing. she could not see the man, but when he spoke, it was Scott. The voice asked if she could here him and she could not respond. She tried to pull herself out of the deep water of unconsciousness, but it was not working. She could only groan every now and again or her pale face would twitch.

Angel whickered gently to cloud calming him down as she nuzzled his shoulder letting him know scott wouldn't hurt his girl. Angel watched scott for a while before turning back to cloud to calm him once again.

Scott winced as he her lynn groan and only groan but never reply to him calling her name. Scott gently and slowly picked. Lynn up into his broad arms " everything is going to be ok lynn ill take care of you" scott said softly into the ear nearest to him as he walked over to angel and cloud. " angel bow" scott commanded angel and on quew angel did a bow so that scoot could get on her with lyyn in his arms . Scott reached back and grabbed clouds reins and clucked to angel to go. Angel took off into a nice and easy lope, bfore long they reached the barn. " some body help!" Scott shouted as he slowly dismounted angel and quickly tied cloud to her knowing she wouldn't let him boss her around. Scott layed lynn softly on the ground as people started to come from the barns and call 911 " its alright lynn I'm here everything will be ok" scott said stroking the side of her face

Cloud was still nervous and pranced as Scott picked up his girl and climbed onto Angel. He jerked his head once when Scott took his reins, but eagerly loped beside the mare as they headed towards the barn. Scott got off Angel and tied Cloud to her. He wanted to be with Lynn. He pawed the ground and pranced around in spot. "I want to get to her.." he moaned as he stopped and leaned against the little mare.

Dan was standing in his office when he heard a loud commotion outside in the yard. He assumed some horse was acting up, but he heard shouting for 911 so he bounded for the front yard. He almost fainted at the sight! "Lynn!" he cried as he pulled out his cell phone and quickly dialed 911. "help! I have a girl who is unresponsive..! Come quick!" he started to rattle off his address as she dropped to his knees by her side. "What the hell happened boy?" he asked him angrily, "I leave you an afternoon with her and you bring her back half dead!?" The sirens ring out in the distance Dan sends a guy out to the road to flag it own.

Angel rubbed her headn against clouds side before resting it over his back as he leaned into her " I know you do but you have to let the other people help her scott wouldn't hurt her I promise you that" she said and stood closer to him

As dan ran out and started yelling at scott about what happened and others be frantic. " she took off after I had asked if she wanted. To come back with me to my familys farm. Angels the one who heard lynn scream and got me to her quickly and got us here fast and kept cloud calm. I guess lynn was upset about me asking her to come with but you have to trust me when I say I would never do anyhting to hurt her I care far too much for her" scott said his electric blue eyes looking straight into dans as scott held lynn close to him slowly rocking her trying to keep her stil as the ambulance came.

Dan just stared at the boy. He grunted and he got to his feet and watched as the ambulance pulled swiftly down the drive. Two EMT guys got out with a stretcher and pushed over to Lynn. "sir, you have to let go of her.." the one said to Scoot as he and his partner tried to remove Lynn from his arms. When he let go, they lay her on the flat bed and push her into the back of the ambulance. They made sure Scott did not get in they quickly drove off, heading towards the hospital. Dan looked at Scott. "Ill drive us there." he said and started to lead Cloud away.

The flashing lights made cloud want to panic, but he remained clam with Angel close by. "I know, i know." he moaned as he watched. When she was gone, he followed Dan into the barn and sighed when the big man left. He hoped Scott would bring Angel in with him so the two could roam the barn freely for the night.

Scott struggled to let lyyn go but as the emts made him let her go he watched as they loaded her and sped off towards the hospital." Alright" scott said as dan offered to drive them to the hospital as he lead cloud into the barn. Scott sighed then clucked to angel " come on girl you better stay with cloud tonight so he doesn't hurt himself" he said as he untacked her and led her towards the in door areana where cloud was.

Angel followed after scott and entered the areana and walked over to cloud after nuzzling scott as he lefted to go to the hospital to go be with lyyn. " you ok" angel asked as she whickered to cloud and nuzzled his shoulder sighing heavly

(in the barn while everyone is gone, i was thinking about breeding Angel and Cloud so Angel would "mysteriously" come up pregnant..do you like that? Not rape or anything..)

Cloud lifted his head from the water trough and watched as Angel was led in by Scott. He nickered softly and went back to drinking. The young mare came to him and nudged his shoulder, "Yeah, i guess i am." he muttered as he nosed her cheek.

Dan pulled the truck around and waited for Scott to climb in. The two set off down the dark drive way towards the main road that would led them to the highway to get to the hospital. It was the only way to get there. The roads were dark until Dan switched on the head lights. "So you mean what you say about it all being an accident?" Dan asked suddenly, popping a cigar into his mouth and breaking the silence.

Angel sighed " she will be ok I promise. Plus scott wouldn't like anything happen to her" she said in a soft voice as she started to groom clouds shoulder flicking her tail releasing her tangy spicy yet sweet heat scent not meaning to at all

As the drove in silence for a while scott couldn't help but think about lynn only to be brought back to reality as dan asked him about what happened. " yes sir you have my word I don't know what I did wrong I asked her to come back with me and she ran off and I found her on the ground with cloud over her" he said running a hand through his hair

Dan kept his eyes on the dark road as he drove them towards the hospital. "I believe ya boy. It just baffles me that she would let such a silly invitation rattle her so bad that she would screw up her riding skills. I mean, Lynn is an excellent horsewoman." he said as he tongue his cigar. He rolled down his window to be polite to Scott.

Cloud huffed as he rested his head upon her shoulder while she nibbled his. It felt nice to have some comfort in the night. Other horses were shifting in their stalls, preparing for a night of slumber in he warm barn. The air outside had dropped since the beginning of the day.
Cloud took an inhale to even his breathing when he suddenly brought in with it the scent of Angel's heat. He tried to not let her notice his body tingle and twitch slightly, but it was too desirable. Cloud did feel for this mare and he did not want to wait to have them bred professionally. He wanted to make love to her right now, on their own, like in the wild.
"Angel?" he asked as he kept his head pressed to her side. "Would you uhm..follow me.." and he pulled away slowly, locking eyes with her before heading down one of the isles.
