~ Smoky ~

I toss my head, ears still back as I flick my tail.
"I'm not crippled," I growl out, teeth and jaw clenched shut. Nothing would be able to keep me from making sure my family was okay. I toss my head again, trotting past him through the forest. Each step sent pain rocketing through my leg, but I ignored it as I followed the scent they had left behind, breathing deeply as I seek them out, barely concious of the wolf beside me.

[Guardian Angel]

Clyde~
I simply said, "Never said you were." and trotted beside him to Flame.

Flame~
The flat breeze that blew through the abandonde(sp?) meadow brought Smoky's scent to me along with the shadow wolf's smell too. "Hmm..." I thought aloud as I licked Spark to calm her.

~ Smoky ~

I roll my eyes slightly. I didn't care what he said; I wouldn't trust him until I kenw the whole story, and then it would still take me awhile to. Finally I come out of the trees, swinging my head around. I see Flame and Spark and whicker softly, trotting over to them slowly, looking them over with my eyes.

[Guardian Angel]

Spark~
I spotted my daddy first and squealed, "Daddy!!" I skipped to him and gave him a big hug on his right leg. I trot back to mommy and watch the black wolf curiously.

Flame~
I see Smoky and a greatful smile erupts on my face. I fill the gap between us and wrap my neck around his kissing his back and half crying. "Are you okay?" I ask worrid knowing he was fighting against Kinny and one of her many sons. I look down at the black wolf, my smile turning to shock. "Clyde?"

Clyde~
I follow him into the clearing and over to his family. I linger back letting them reunite. "Its me Flame." I say to her half smiling.

~ Smoky ~


I smile happily, bending down to nuzzle Spark lovingly, then hug Flame, closing my eyes and breathing in her scent for a moment. I turn my head around to eye the wolf.
"Who the &*#% is he?" I ask lowly, ears going back again as I watch him.

Flame~
I turn to Smoky, "Watch your mouth! Young ears!" I scold. I look back at Clyde and walk to him. I sniff his nose and break into a sad smile. "Clyde raised me. When my mother and father were killed my Kinny's crazy parents, he took me in. Clyde was Kinny's mate and they had a few sons but once she cheated on him, he left her. She killed their children and mated with many other wolves raising the offspring to learn to track him..."

Clyde~
I sniff her back and pick up where she left off, "To track me down and kill me. The day you met Flame and killed that wolf, Kinny knew I was back in the forest and that the only way she could kill me was to kill her. I'm like a secondary father to her. Now that all of Kinny's sons are dead she has no reason to live since they were her prizes. I had planned on killing her stupid ass.." I cower. "oops watch my mouth. But never got to it." I finished looking at Spark and her resemblence of her parents.
