I stopped in front of Terra and let her small body hit mine,"Terra I'm horny and your in heat, let me give you a foal." i said nuzzling her

Terra stood back and snorted. "What? Can't it wait until the baby's not around?" She couldn't help but refer to Apollo as baby. She shook her head. "Besides, I just lost my own foal. What makes you think that I'd want another one so soon?"

I started to trot away and headed for the stream that was far off away from the mares and the young stallion. I rolled in the water and soon got attacked by a big bear that I hadn't seen when I was drinking as my thoughts were jumbled with wanting to mate Terra. I was very wounded my chest was ripped open but not too serious and I was bleeding mostly from my back and sides. I had gotten away but barely, I licked my sides and walked towards where they were with my head and neck down to wore out to really lift it any more that a foot off of the ground. I was dragging my hooves behind me.

Terra had seen the whole attack and had called Apollo back to her side. She stood watching Chua, her eyes wide with fear. "Is it gone?" she asked. She didn't want to approach him until she knew it was safe.

Without a thought passing her Ruby let out a loud neigh and bolted to him. She stood attempting to let her support him, "Chua." Was all she could utter worried.

Apollo staid near Terra watching terrified.

My brown eye was shut and I looked at her with my blue eye and didn't answer because if it wasn't gone did you really think I'd be walking. I just simply shook my head and I soon leaned against a tree panting with the effort to stay standing as if I laid down I wouldn't want to get back up. I ignored her and the foal and simply laid down, my legs shook with the effort to lay down, I made a sound of pure pain and being tired

Terra looked down and saw that Apollo was just as terrified as her. She moved her body so that he couldn't see the blood and licked his side. "It's going to be okay," she soothed before she cast Ruby a can-you-take-care-of-it? look.

That mare Terra should be just as concerned as Ruby. Since if he died they might die without me to defend them from other stallions that might not be as nice as me or even predators that roamed these plains that my father had kept as his with great effort as it had plenty of water and lands for grazing.

She looked back over at Chua and Ruby before she bent her head towards the foal. "Come on sweetheart, let's go see if we can do to help." She trotted back over to them. Not knowing what else to do, she bent her head and licked his wounds.

I thrashed my legs and body and bit her in the shoulder as I bucked out as it hurt so badly that i almost passed out, I of coarse didn't hit Terra with my back legs but dang close to do just that. Blood gushed from my wounds and hit the ground, adrenaline rushed through my blood stream when she did that, I started to limp all over again.

"Do you realize how much that hurt?" I asked as I with great effort lifted my back right leg that was the most damaged. I knew once it healed it will never be the same after this attack. My legs collapsed out from under me and I fell to the ground in a heap, dust going every where. "I suggest you stay away from me since predators I'm sure will smell the blood and finish me off." I said my face crunching up from the pain and effort of moving my legs so they didn't cramp up from laying on them

Ruby ran off quickly and got poppy seeds, it took her awhile to find some but she brought it back after 30 minutes. She trotted to him, "I don't know how to help but I do know these will numb the pain enough for us to clean your wounds. They don't taste good so I'll have to get you some sweet grass." She said and started trotting to go find sweet grass.

Apollo neighed with fear and jumped back, he looked her shoulder and said, "Meany!" To Chua.

I looked to her with firey eyes full with determination. I wouldn't hurt the foal but he better learn respect or I'd teach him to be respectful to me.

I walked in the forest smelling the stallion that resides here, but I smiled when I found the scents of mares and a foal. I followed that scent until I wasn't that far off to see them, the current stallion nipping the young colt. That stallion wouldn't be the stallion for long as I'd dethrone him in the morning and take over and possibly get rid of that foal not knowing if it was his or not
