My ears flick back in annoyance, but I still unconsciously lean into the comforting gesture. With eyes staring ahead I ask, "how long do you think it will last?" I flick my long tail and shake my head to get out of the trance before I look at him. My face held worry as I waited for his reply.

I nod absently in agreement. "Yes it does look that way." Sighing I try to look around, but it was getting dark fast. Pawing at the ground, I test how soft it is before I buckle my knees and lay sown with a subtle groan. Satisfied iblick my lips and let my eyes droop as my weariness takes over.
