The black female limped into the land and looked around searching for shelter so she could tend to her wounds. As her silver eyes gazed over the features of the land she spotted a small cave. Limping over to it she saw nothing that could harm her. Once in the cave she laid down and began to clean her wounds.

[Harley]

The young female had followed Shadow, following the small trail of easily trackeble blood. She had been sent to comfort her, to let her know Thorn was only a day behind her. That she would be in a pack that welcomed her and cared for her. The female, who limped and had a frightened look in her eyes, was called Dey. Dey lay outside the cave, watching Shadow carefully. "Thorn is coming. I promise. And there is a brute. I believe you will like him very much. His name is Toren." The scent of Thorn was all over her, and she hoped Shadow wouldnt doubt her words.

[Shadow-Walker]

Shadows head snapped up and she let a loud snarl come from her. She was an Injured wolf who was in a very bad mood. She listened to her and calmed "Thank you." She let out a sigh and looked at the injuries, she would be scared for the rest of her life all because she called pelican a bitch. She slowly stood up and looked back to the female "Why did they leave?"

[Harley]

The female scooted closer, smiling sadly. "Very welcome." She closed her light golden eyes, resting her head on her paws. "You are better than Durnal and Pelican put together, or thats how I see it. Thorn told me a lot. He was planning on leaving anyway, and his mom wouldn't be able to live there anymore after what they did to you. Nia is coming soon, she can help with that nasty wound."

[Shadow-Walker]

Shadow looked to the female again "What is your name?" She nodded before laying down "Even of she heals these wounds I will have these scars until I die." She gave a sigh and looked around "Also I've never seen you before are you new to thorns pack?"

[Shadow-Walker]

(Bump)

[Harley]

"Tia." The female replied, shaking her head sadly. "Pelican killed one of our females. She was pregnant. Thorn would punish her for that, but even in the short time I knew Durnal, he wouldn't."

(Also, ahead of time, I will have Storm return to the pack, and confront Durnal)

[Shadow-Walker]

(Ok)

Shadow shook her head and looked at her "Pelican does not deserve to be an alpha or to have pups." She layed her head down then began to clean her wounds once more "Who ever kills another out of rage deserves nothing in life." She let out a sigh and looked at her.

(Sorry the tv got my attention.)

[Harley]

"I have to agree. Storm saw it all. It is not something a pup forgets." Tia replied, licking one of her sore paws before returning her gaze to the wolf. "I would dismiss her from the pack at once, but apparantly pups mean nothing to Durnal, unless they are his own."

[Shadow-Walker]

"She's not going to forget that easily." Shadow sighed and looked around before laying down once more becoming restless. "I don't know why I snapped the way that I did."

[Harley]

"The way Pelican killed her. How Storm's own father turned her mother away like she meant nothing to him... Storm will never forget." Tia pushed her nose into the ground, listening for any signs of Thorn's arrival. "Nia snapped to." She heard the pack coming through the trees, and she rushed to meet them. "I hope you will join my pack, Shadow." Thorn grinned, and licked her ear.

[Shadow-Walker]

Shadow was just about to comment but she had left. She let out a sigh and looked out the cave and saw thorn and his pack. She smiled and nodded her head after he licked her ear "That would be great." She looked around again then spotted storm "How's storm?"

[Harley]

Thorn grinned, and told his pack to start expanding the den. "Very good." He replied, putting Storm in front of Shadow.

[Shadow-Walker]

She Wat he'd the pack start to move about then looked down when thorn put storm in front of her. She looked back to thorn and layed down and looked for Nia and his sister "Where's your mother and sister?" She looked back to storm and nuzzled her a bit before laying her head on her paws.

[Harley]

"Right here." Nia replied, sticking by Thorn's side. "Mother is mentoring Mia in healing, and I swear, Mia knows just about as much as Nia. They put Pelican to shame." It felt good to say that, knowing he wouldn't be ripped apart for it.

Storm groomed Shadow's chest, humming quietly to herself.

[Shadow-Walker]

Shadow licked the top of storms head then looked to nia then to thorn "Both you and mia are great at healing." She sighed then looked down at storm who was licking her chest and smiled a bit.

(Sorry)

[Harley]

"We have to be." Nia felt a flash of pain jolt through her, and nearly collapsed. It didn't show on her face. She couldn't do that to Storm. Couldn't show her the agony she was in. she had to be a mother. Nia didn't know what she suffered from, but knew no cure for her.

(sadly, Nia will die in a couple pages)

[Shadow-Walker]

(Aww why?)

Shadow looked at Nia and saw her collapse. She stood up and walked over to her "You are ok?" She nuzzled her lightly before looking at storm before looking back to Nia. "What happened?"

[Harley]

"She hurt her leg on the way up. It just hurts now and then..." thorn lied, not wanting Shadow to worry. The rest of the pack ndged Shadow pack into the den, awaiting night fall as they surrounded her to keep her warm. Thorn's family joined them, all except for Thorn, who made sure he marked his territory.

[Shadow-Walker]

(I like thorns pack they are really kind)

Shadow let out a soft whine then followed the rest of the pack to the den. Once there she layed down then looked around as the rest started to come in and lay down also. She gave a soft sigh and layed her head on her paws before letting her eyelids drop from heaviness.

[Harley]

(Oh, and I have something in mind)

The pack fell alseep around her, and thorn snuggled in with them. "We won't chase you away. Not now, not ever." He promised.

[Shadow-Walker]

(Like what)

Shadow was in a light sleep but could still hear why thorn said and she saId thank you but it sounded more like a mumble than anything. She curled up into a slight ball and fell into a deep sleep.

[Harley]

(You'll see when storm reaches her first birthday)

Thorn awoke when it was still dark, yawned and stood. "mimic, come with me. Nia, mia, attend to shadows wounds. Rose, see to it that some fish gets caught. Take Dimitri with you." Rose was the small auburn female with the crippled leg, who had an odd knack for fishing. Dimitri was a hulking brute almost the size of DurnAl, and had part of his left ear missing, and was blind in one eye.

[Shadow-Walker]

Shadow woke up to some of the pack moving around and looked around. She stood up and shook her pelt clean before looking around. She sat down and cleaned her wounds before looking over at Nia and Mia.

[Harley]

Nia ripped some bark from a tree, chewin on it for a moment before putting it on shadows wound. "It'll be healed in less that three days."
