Hanks tilted his head slightly, his tail flicking. "And that would be...?" he asked, praying that Rosebelle would take a hint, wake up Romeo, and run away as fast as they could.

Rosebelle heard him again,the word choice was off to her for someone to speak about. Opening her eyes,she saw Steven and Hanks,quickly poking Romeo to wake him up. "Wake up honey." She whispered in a motherly tone so the foal won't get worried.

Steven snorted,staring at Hanks. "The two creatures in the field down there."

Steven snorted,lifting to his hind legs as he thundered down on the ground,snapping his own teeth at Hanks.

Romeo woke up slowly,looking at his momma before raising to his feet. "Yes mother?" He asked. Rosebelle didn't reply,only blocking out the view of the fight as she shoved him forward. "Lets go!"

Hanks jumped backwards, slightly surprised. He then snorted and brought his hooves down sharply near the stallion's nose.

Romeo quickly got up,hearing the pounding of the hooves. He was getting scared,and listened to his mother,jolting off with Rosebelle who ran faster. "Come on! Keep up!" She called to him.

Steven noticed them running away,backing up as the hoof smashed in front of his muzzle. He took his chance and bolted around Hanks,aiming for the foal.

Steven let out a long distress call,falling to his side as he thrashed about.

Rosebelle ran off into the woods with her foal,now out of sight.

Steven snorted,kicking at Hanks with his hind hooves. He soon rose to his feet and bolted off,knowing defeat.

Rosebelle stopped at a tall tree,using its shade as she looked around for Romeo. "Son?" She called out. There was no response. She started to panic,walking in a circle around the tree. "Romeo!!" She screamed,still no response.

Romeo had lost sight of his mother,now walking into the fields again,he searched for his mother,whispering "Mom? Dad?" And hoping for a response.

The stallion grunted as the hooves connected with his side, but he let out a bellow as the stallion left. "And stay away!" he shouted, then went in search for Rosebelle and Romeo.

Rosebelle circled the place,letting out neighs for her foal. "Romeo!! Hanks!!" she cried out at the top of her lungs,her ears flash about,her tail swishing as she gallops about.

Romeo didn't hear even the slightest peep of her yells,walking steadily away from Rosebelle's direction as his head is held low,tracking the ground for any sign of life. "Mom.. Dad.." he mumbled once again,his eyes looking about. He decided to trust his instincts,walking to tall grass as he plopped down in it,the grass reaching up to his ears as her rested,sprawled out with a grunt. Maybe nothing will notice him.. he hoped.
