Harvy looked at him, tears coming to his eyes. "What? But I don't want you to go."

A cougar sat hidden amoungst the undergrowth. It licked its chops when it spotted a foal standing in the field.

Diablo's head lifted,seeing the tears in the foal's eyes. It brought him memories of when the cruel lie was told to him about his mother. He frowned and then rubbed his head against the foal. "A few weeks,I can assure that,we will come back. We're close to the north pole.. That's our destination." he explained to the young foal. "Once our mission is over,I will come to you,us. Me and Shadow,we wont let you down." he smiled at him.

[Stormsong]

Havry buried his face in Dee-Dee's legs. "Bit I want to go with you."

The cougar crouched down in position as it waited for the perfect moment to strike.

Diablo shook his head,a tear shedding down his face. "I'm sorry Harvy,but there is many dangers. There are bears,bigger then me out down to the north! Demons! Things not even stories could tell without a shudder!" he explained.

[Stormsong]

Harvy looked back up at him. "But.... Don't I have to have wings like Angel to get up into the heavens?" he questioned.

The cougar neaded the ground with its claws. Almost! Almost!

Diablo shook his head,turning around to look at Angel. "No,you don't. The angels up there will help you up to the heavens. There are horses without wings there." he said softly,his nose smelling the wind as it brought a scent unknown.

[Stormsong]

Now! The cougar charged from the undergrowth with a loud roar. It barreled right at the foal.

Harvy screamed but tripped over his own legs as he tried to run away.

(Gtg, I've got school tomorrow. Bye!)

Diablo wasn't quick enough,jerking his whole body as the cougar came rushing at Harvy. He was only able to grab it's long tail that kept it's balance as he mainly wanted to kill it.

(Aww!! Good night!)

[Stormsong]

Harvy screamed when the cougars claws slashed at his legs. "Dee-Dee, make it go away!" he cried.

The cougar slashed at the foals legs before he turned to the large pegasus and slashed at his chest.

Shadow bolted into the clearing and charged towards them. "Diablo!"

Diablo neighed,his foreleg smashing on the cougar's skull and he trampled it. His eyes flashed anger as his teeth were bared.

Choco jumped out of the bushes,his eyes narrowed as he skidded to a halt.

[Stormsong]

Harvy now laid on his side crying. The cougar had nicked his legs with its claws. "Dee-Dee...."

Shadow stopped in the middle of the field. A shocked expression was on her face.

Diablo looked at Harvy,walking to him as he lowered his head sadly. His hoof was tainted with blood as his chest poured blood into the foal's nice coat. He wanted to know how much Shadow saw but,didn't care that much now. Harvy was hurt! He sniffed the foal's leg.

Choco couldn't believe what he saw. He saw Diablo standing over Harvy as the foal was on the ground,calling Diablo's name. What did Diablo do? Choco couldn't see the cougar from his position.

[Stormsong]

Harvy looked up at Dee-Dee. "It hurts, make the pain stop," he whined.

Shadow shook herself and galloped up to them. "Diablo!" she called again.

Diablo didn't listen to Shadow,lowering his head to Harvy and nudging the poor foal's head. "Shh.. It will go if you ignore it.. Concentrate on my voice,the sounds of nature. They're whirling around you,picture the endless fields. Grass for miles,butterflies fluttering beside you as the sun waves to you over head." he explained a picture,hoping Harvy would let his pain be ignored.

[Stormsong]

Harvy felt his eyelids droop when Dee-Dee explained the picture. He lifted his head and nuzzled him.

Shadow trotted to Diablo's side. She saw the dead cougar and shuddered, moving away from it. She then noticed Harvy lying on the ground at his feet.

Diablo nuzzled Harvy back,his eyes closing. "The fields,you see your friend,galloping toward a glistening stream.. He calls to you,run to him. He wants to play chase.." he shed a tear into the foal's soft coat.

Choco walked toward them slowly,listening to Diablo's words.

[Stormsong]

Shadow and Angel watched intently as the adorable scene played out in front of them.

Harvy made contented little noises as he slowly fell asleep.

(Aww! That was cute! Diablo does have a soft side!)

Diablo lifted his head away from Harvy,smiling softly.

[Stormsong]

Angel smiled at him. "Are you okay? Do you want me to heal you?" she asked as she stepped forward and stroked his neck.

[ZeldaWolfy]

Diablo shook his head,feeling the wound around his chest beat with pain and blood pulse through it. "No,I'm fine." he smiled.

[Stormsong]

"Are you sure?" she asked.

Shadow quietly moved so that she could inspect Harvy's wounds. The foal's legs were nicked but other than that, he probably just suffered from shock.

[ZeldaWolfy]

Diablo nodded.

[Stormsong]

"Diablo, how are we going to get to heaven?" she asked. "I can't even fly." She looked over at her wings and stroked them. They still hung limply at her side.

(This story is offically 81 pages long! And it has more words than my own novel! )

Diablo turned to see Angel. He walked to her silently,taking hold of one of the wings as he flapped it a bit for her. "Let me know if you can feel it move.."

Angel giggled as a tingly feeling shot up her wing and into her back. "Hehe, yeah I feel it."
