Diablo lifted his head,turning his gaze to Choco as he snorted. "Your telling me that my mother is alive and you've been visiting her frequently.. But yet,not letting me know?" he snorted. Choco's ears dropped as his eyes filled with fear. That's right! After all these years,he never told Diablo about seeing his mother. How could he explain that! His mother told him not to tell Diablo about her existance but,would Diablo ever believe him? "She told me not to tell you.." Choco said,dragging out his words. Diablo charged at Choco,pinning him down on the ground as they started to fight all of a sudden. Choco was amazed at his pace and sudden attack. He reared as they fought,they're sounds heard from at least a 20 mile radius.

(Or maybe not xD)

Shadow jerked her head up when she heard the sound of two stallions fighting. I knew it! She turned to Angel and Harvy who stared out into the woods in fear. "I'll be right back," she told them before she galloped away.

Shadow cantered into the woods, her legs pumping as fast as they could go. When she finally reached the spot where the tree collasped, she was appalled by the sight. "Diablo! Choco! Stop!" she neighed to them.

Diablo kept on fighting,even though hearing Shadow's cry towards them both. Choco tried not to fight back,he only nipped on Diablo as his wings repeatedly beat against him. They kept on fighting,hooves pounding and neighs screaming about.

Shadow snorted and paced back and forth, trying to think of what she could do to stop them.

Diablo pushed Choco to the ground,Choco neighing in distress. They were both war horses,known for strength and dignity. Although,this fight meant no purpose. Choco yelled to Diablo "Is this what you want your mother to be known for! Giving birth to a demon who picks out needless fights!" Diablo froze. His body stood there for moments,his eyes wide with confusion as his hooves kept Choco in place. Choco was right but.. Diablo couldn't decide. His mind was filled with rage and anger,including hidden emotions.

Shadow took this moment to try and tone t down. She walked cautiously towards Diablo, she nudged him off of Choco and nuzzled him gently. "Just calm down okay?" she soothed.

Diablo moved off Choco,feeling Shadow's gently touch. His massive body shuddered. He was from the heavens! And yet,he totally ruined the heaven's good name,for being a demon! He deserved to have no right in flying. No.. He didn't deserve to even have wings. He slowly lied down,his eyes wide with what he just realised. "I'm sorry.. Choco.." he whispered,Choco getting up and panting. "It's okay bud! You didn't mean it! I would've done the same.. Only finished the job!" he teased.

Shadow couldn't help but smile when they made up. She bent down and nipped Diablo's ear. "Do you feel better?" she asked.

Diablo nodded,rolling his eyes. "Just let's keep the foal away,as you can now tell,I'm short tempered." he smiled at Shadow,getting up to his feet after that short rest.

Diablo looked at Shadow,his eyes slowly moving off her. "He did nothing," he admitted, "We just can't take him with our travels. He is to young and it means more to protect,more weight on our backs!" he said with a snort.

Shadow stomped her hoof on the ground. "Fine, then you can go tell that innocent foal who looks up to you that he's just a little nusience and we're leaving him behind."

Shadow rolled her eyes and snorted. "Fine. Go then!" She paced back and forth, nervously. She had lied to Harvy. She had lied when she said that he could stay with them. A horrible feeling gripped tightly around her heart at the thought of the little foals broken body. She neighed in frustration before she lifted herself off the ground and reared. When she landed she pawed the ground anxiously. This was selfish of him. It was selfish to leave a foal to fend for himself just because his herd housed Diablo's mother. Not wanting to see the reaction, she bolted off deeper into the woods.

Diablo galloped out of the forest,seeing the foal eating some apples. He took a deep breath. He might be cruel after this,he knew that. But,he didn't want to forget they're main goal. He trotted toward Angel instead,having a neat plan. "Angel," he said, "Can you come over here please?"

Choco was confused. He knew Diablo wasn't that foolish! He watched them both go off in different directions,then chased after Shadow. The mare alone was his concern,being alone in this wide world filled with beasts!

Angel ran over to Diablo and gave him a hug and a kiss. "Oh Diablo! We were so worried about you! Are you okay?"

Shadow heard the sound of hooves behind her. She neighed and swung around to face her persuer. "Leave me alone!" she snapped. "Why are you following me anyway, I thought that you didn't like cry babies!"

Diablo stared at Angel,softening a bit as he felt her hugs and kisses. "Listen,I must tell you something.." he whispered low enough for Harvy not to hear but loud enough to be clear to Angel. "Can you care for Harvy? He will be like a son to you,since we can't take him along our journey. Choco will help if anything dares to attack both of you,I promise." he smiled softly.

Choco reared as he halted,looking at her with a soothing chill in his eyes. "I don't,but I never said I don't like you." he snorted. "Came here to make sure you didn't go haywire. You know Diablo wouldn't do such a thing! The foal is in his own mother's herd!" he snorted once again.

Angel looked him with a shocked expression on her face. "You mean....... You're leaving us here?"

Shadow snorted and turned away. "Yeah, well, I'm not. Besides, you saw how reacted when you told him! At this point, I'm not at all surprised that he did this. He's taking out what's left of his anger on a baby. A baby for God's sake!"

Diablo's eyes widened,shaking his head. "N-no! Not like that.. Your an Angel,you live up there and that's the safest place for you. Once someone comes to take you,I would wish for you to take Harvy if you please. He can't come with us on a dangerous journey and I know the heavens needs a gorgeous warrior like you." he said,hoping she understood. He didn't want to ditch them but,he did want his friend's dream to come true.. to let people know we're not demons.

Choco neighed in denial. "He's not going to take his anger out on a foal! If I know him,he'd probably be telling Angel to take the foal to the heavens with her! Ensuring the foal lives an enchanted life with no worries!" he neighed to Shadow.

Angel looked over at Harvy who was whinning in delight as he bit into another apple. She chuckled when the juices squirted on his face. She looked back over at Diablo, her expression soft. "Then you should at least tell him."

Shadow just stood there and glared at Choco.

Diablo looked toward Harvy as Angel said her words. He had to plan out his conversation as he walked toward Harvy. "Hey,Harvy!" he called to the little foal.

Choco looked at Shadow,his eyes showing trust as he began. "Diablo is not a heartless bastard! He would never tell a foal that he is ditching it in the middle of a battlefield! Where blood is everywhere and the scent of fresh kill could easily lure more carnivores! ..Crap." he turned to the field. "If any carnivores were near.." his eyes widened.

Harvy looked up when he heard his name being called. "Dee-Dee!" He galloped up to the pegasus and rubbed his head up and down his leg. His muzzle was sticky with apple juice.

Shadow looked at Choco, thinking the exact same thing that he was thinking. "Let's go," she said and galloped off towards the field.

Diablo smiled at the foal,feeling the sticky surface go up and down his leg. "Alright boy! Before you stick to me!" he joked,moving back a bit. "Listen Harvy,I'm going to go soon with Shadow. Angel said she would take care of you and,maybe you can go see the heavens! Choco will be with you two,so you will always have a play mate.. Who might be gigantic to you." he laughed,hoping he sounded cheerful.

Choco rushed after Shadow,his hooves thundered against the ground as he easily passed her and headed toward the fields.
