It was a peaceful spring mid-morning as the beloved princess of spain was traveling home from a meeting with her cherished friend. As the princess and her gaurds rode across the beach the cool sea air mixed with the peaceful sound of the crashing waves but the princess at ease. Even though she felt as though they had been being folloewd and watched " we shall be home in no time princess scarlette' said one of her trusted gaurds who rode along side her damppled grey steed " it will be nice to be home again" scarlette said softly with a smile as her braided auburn hair moved in the breeze

Darran slipped through the trees of the beach, watching outside of them-- watching the princess. His dagger was tightly gripped in his hand, ready to strike the guards. He heard their voices speak and he snorted quietly at what they said, rolling his eyes slightly. He hated the princess with their think-their-goodie and their the best wishes. Usually princess started with a bad life and ended with a good, this princess was gonna end with a good.
Darran was told to capture the princess and bring her back to his boss. Darran was an assassian-- always been one. He was said to be the most dangerous. He could strike a lot of men in one second. He was swift and no one usually heard footsteps he made. He'd get a very good praise and maybe cash.
He focused and got ready to jump out and kill the guards and maybe the steed if he reacted, and take the princess.

Scarlette felt galli her damppled grey stallion tens up " easy boy were headed home" she reashored him. Galli was short for gallileo, he was her preston as a new born foal on her eleventh birthday. They had been through everything together. Scarlette looked into the trees but saw nothing and kepted going forward. She slipped a hand around her small gold cross that hung around her neck and said a small prayer in italian then pressed galli into a soft tro along the beach.

Darran snorted when he saw her whisper a prayer; the horse was also acting funny and Darran could tell that the stallion had sensed him. Good thing horses could not talk. Before they got any farther, Darran shot out and walked quickly to one of the guards, slicing ones throat and watching him fall to the ground. He chuckled and as the other one went for him he defended back landing and going for the other one. In the matter of time all of them were dead. The horse was freaking out, whinnying loudly. Darran shot out for the princess and knocked her off the horse grabbing her and pulling her from the horse getting on top of her holding the dagger to her throat. "Say no more words princess and come with me."

Scarlette watchedc in horror as a dark figure came from the woods and killed all her gaurds. Before eshe had time to even think she was knocked down from gallileos back with the assassin over top of her frame. " if I go with you the horse comes with me" she said glaring into the eyes of her kapter. Galli snorted and stomped his feather hoof. He was a hovarian mixed with a drafted horse. His dark hazel eyes watched as his beloved owner was bieng threaten by the strange man

When she asked if the horse could come along. He looked at the stud. Why would he care? But then he also didn't want to get yelled at for bringing something that wasn't supposed to be with him. And plus, they probably were together forever that horse is probably smart enough to break her our. Finally he turned to her, eyes narrowed. "Chief didn't ask for a stallion, he asked for the princess." he sneered and brought her up, roughly putting her hands behind her back.

She glared as the male figure brought her up to her feet " fine then " she said in a voice filled with hate. She looked at gallileo said something to him in italian and the stud took off towards her home land " what does your cjief want with me anyway " she demanded more then a ask. As she tryed to lookat his face.

Darran pushed her on and heard the horse's hooves clicking and clacking away. It soon faded and he led her through the ruined forest. He heard her question and looked ahead then looked down at her with a devlish smirk on his face. "You'll find out princess." he said. The chief had wanted him to bring her back to be made a slave; both as a toy and as a worker like he did most of the princess of each kindom. The chief was a dirty bastard who enjoyed pleasure. Darran thought of it discusting but he had to follow master's orders. He moved his eyes from hers and pushed her harshly on.

Scarlette moved forward as he pushed her to talk on into the forestm she looked around her memorizing every detail about the forest around her. What this man and his boss didn't know is that she was skilled with weapoms even trained by assassins to survive if something like this was to ever happen. " do you have a name or should I just contue acting like I'm talking to the trees around me" she said sarcasticly as she looked at him again

Darran laughed sarcastically at her comments. Wow, princess weren't really as amusing. More talking about feelings. And being all girly. He looked at her watching to see where he was going. "Darran, princess." he said and soon, they were at a path trail and he went on. It'd take them three days to get there and two nights. He was surprised he'd caught the princess just coming back from her 'vacation' and knew that his chief would be even more proud that he didn't have to fight a castle full of guards.

" my name is scarlette not princess" she said as they made their way onto a path. She knew that as soon as he let her hands go she would pull out the knife that was on her thigh and try to kill him or who ever tryed to touch her." Let me guess we won't be where your taking me for at least 2 if not 3 days" she said as she walked along the path thinking of ways to escape

Darran rolled his eyes. This princess with feisty. If she kept being fiesty, she'd end up with a big bruise on her chest. He pushed her on looking for some kind of shelter. "Yes three days." he muttered and kept going on. He looked around and soon, night started to fall on them. The moon and stars started to appear. He smiled. Finally! His feet was killing him. He'd stop at the same place for tonight.

As night fell scarlette could tell that darran was getting tired and that they would have to stop soon. Scarlette sat diwn on a large rock resting her feet. She had to addmit after their long journey her feet hurt too. " how long have you been working for this chief guy" she asked as she sat there.

Darran tied her up swiftly with rope. It dug into her skin. Probably when he took it off tomorrow, it'd be raw. He looked at her. "Since I was a kid, princess." he said. He called every princess, princess because that's what they are and he never respected them. He sighed and started to set up a tent for their campsite which he stored in a pouch.

Scarlette grimced as darran tied the rope tight around her wrist " like is he family by blood or how did you come to meet him" she asked as she watched him. He looked as if he had no choice but todo what he was told todo. " do you enjoy being an assassin " she asked. She could tell by him calling her princess he had no respect for her.

Darran soon had the tent set up. He went inside and put on a light then went back out just in time to hear Scarlette asking a question.. again? Really? He rolled his eyes annoyingly. "Yo can you stop asking so many questions?" he muttered and threw her roughly inside. "Night night, get your beauty sleep princess." he said and went outside to guard.

Scarlette decided to keep her mouth shut as he through her into the tent not wanting to answer her questions. She soon fell asleep tired from everything that happen today

Darran took watch and made sure Scarlette went to sleep before setting up a tent and going to sleep himself. He thought about how he'd like to pass tomorrow so it could lead into the next day and promise him with cash and great praising just to move on to the next victim. When he finally fell asleep, the sun came up high and quicker than he'd expected. He jumped out of bed and strectched sitting in the tent for a bit and toying with a stick.

As gentle rise's of sunlight streamed in and warmed scarlettes cheeck she sat up. Hearing darran moving she shed and said a pray to herself before she waited for darran to take her onto the next check point in this journey. She winced as her wristed had start to rub raw from the rope that was tied around them

Darran got up and searched his puch for food. Finally finding an orange and bringing it out, he got out the tent and into Scarlette's and untied the rope. Her wrists. Raw. He'd known this happened. He chuckled and brung her hands to her lap, placing the orange in her hands. She looked up at her with a smile. "Eat up, princess. Oh... I mean Scarlette." he said and looked outside.

As darran walked into her tent scarlette sigh gently as he undid the rope around her wrist. As darran gave her orange she smiled " thank you" she said but what caught her off guard was that he called her scarlette. He never did that. Scarlette started to peel her orange darran gave her " eould you like some" she offered as she split it in half. Even though she was upset about being kidnapped and could only guess what this chief wanted with her. She might as well make a friend right?

Darran heard Scarlette thank him but all he did was snort. When she asked if he'd wanted some, he began to shake his head but as soon as she split it in half, he gave a small smile. "Sure." he murmured and took it from him eating it. Usually then, princesses will try to escape. But she... didnt. Was she trying to... befriend him? She asked himself. Once he was almost done he looked at the princess, smiling. "Thanks." He said

Scarlette smiled as darran took the half from her. As she finished off her orange she heard darran say thanks " its the least I could do" she said softly and slightly blushed,. Darran had a wonderful smile one that she had never seen before. Scarlette winced as some of the citrus juice leaked into her raw wrist. Scarlette gently blew on it to ease the burning

Darran saw her wince and couldn't help but feel bad for her. Leaning down, he grabbed something to cover the raw skin that once had the rope tied around it. "Your okay?" he asked a smile still upon his face. He held where he wrapped the bandages around it.
